I just received a Minato delivery from Orsay this afternoon, February 18th, 2025, and I'm very, very disappointed. Unfortunately, I can't give zero stars!!!
- Salmon roe Temaki: a real rip-off. Very little salmon roe, just for decoration. So, they're just cones of crunchy, not creamy, rice for €9.50.
- Yellow radish maki: €4.00
*The radishes weren't crunchy at all; they looked like they were past their prime, maybe even expired.
*The rice was crunchy instead of creamy.
- Beef/cheese skewer meal: not great, €11.50.
I usually order from Minato Chilly Mazarin for work, and I guess the culinary expertise is completely different. I've never been disappointed in Chilly.
03/02/2026: Fast service and a friendly delivery driver; however, we unfortunately received sashimi with a slight odor. Having been a regular customer of this restaurant, we assumed it would be fine and that we'd never had a problem before... The next day, we experienced diarrhea and mild stomach pains.
Please review your product storage methods, or you risk losing loyal customers.

30/01/2026: I've been having lunch here almost every week since a colleague took me last year, and I find this restaurant very decent.
The food is quite good, reasonably priced, the service is quick (admittedly a bit brusque), it's clean and comfortable, and you can talk without raising your voice too much, even when it's busy. I've only seen the staff overwhelmed once, on a day when the restaurant was packed.
I don't understand the bad reviews, but perhaps I'm just not very familiar with Japanese restaurants.

09/12/2025: They post fake reviews to boost their Google rating—unbelievable!!! Look at all the negative reviews! If only I'd known... I ordered a Dragon Terre Mère (Mother Earth) for €16 via Uber Eats, and it arrived decomposed. The person on the phone couldn't do anything and blamed the delivery driver, even though our entire order was perfect. It's dishonest, and the taste of our whole order wasn't anything special. Delivery took an hour for a Dragon Terre Mère, four spring rolls, and a pad thai.
The driver had to wait 30 minutes at the address because they called him too early.
I absolutely do not recommend them!!! And on top of that, self-reflection isn't their strong suit 😅
30/10/2025: My girlfriend and I came to this restaurant before going to the cinema next door. We wanted to grab a bite before our movie and avoid fast food; we prefer to support small businesses. When we entered the restaurant, there were only two other customers. The atmosphere was cold. The woman asked us to take the menus and said she'd be right back to take our order. The two of us placed a €30 order for sushi and skewers, which we planned to share.
The woman told us that we didn't come to a restaurant for a €30 meal. Being an entrepreneur, I can understand if the restaurant is full, but that wasn't the case. So, unfortunately, we ended up at Burger King. It's a shame for this small restaurant that doesn't seem to understand or prioritize customer service.

28/01/2026: This restaurant is amazing, we lived in paris for a long time and this is one of the favs restaurant we have went for pickup sushi. Although the restaurant is very small the food is fresh and tastes very good, the only problem is that when you go eat the restaurant the atmosphere is not great… I recommend ordering for the good price and can have a better experience at home.

19/02/2026: Kitchen nightmares! After 24 years of frequenting this restaurant, I just spent an evening there that I would avoid at all costs. I shudder to think what the kitchens must be like; a health inspection is urgently needed. What a shame...
11/01/2026: Beware of Salmonella!!!!! I've loved this restaurant for years and eaten there very regularly, BUT for the past few months, several people close to me have become seriously ill after eating there, so sick that they had to call emergency services. Most recently, my cousin was rushed to the hospital and is still there! I don't want to cause any harm to this restaurant, but this is serious and something needs to be done.

12/01/2026: We left in a hurry after spotting cockroaches on the roof of our table. Once we saw them, we called someone from the restaurant. The waitress who arrived acted shocked, and all she said was, "I'll move you." I told her, "No way, I'm not eating anymore, have a good evening." I paid for my drinks and left. I strongly advise against this restaurant with its unpleasant staff. 👍🏼
12/01/2026: Avoid this place at all costs! Cockroaches everywhere, on the floor and even on the air conditioner, I felt like throwing up. Don't go there again! I called the waitress over, she claimed to be shocked, but she showed me the bill. I said there was no way I was paying, she wasn't happy at all!! But she did accept that I wouldn't pay.

12/03/2026: We made a reservation in advance for a birthday party… and upon arrival: “Sorry, we’re fully booked.” After some discussion, we realized that the reservation had simply never been recorded.
The result: a ruined birthday and no serious solution offered. When you run a restaurant, the basics are knowing how to manage a reservation book.
The most frustrating thing is the complete lack of consideration for customers: no real apology, no attempt to rectify the situation. Clearly flawed organization that turned an important occasion into a huge disappointment.
I work in a travel agency, and I regularly recommend establishments to my clients. One thing is for sure: I will definitely advise anyone asking me for a restaurant in the area against going to this place.
A very disappointing experience. I won’t be back.
12/03/2026: Having booked by phone on Monday, we came to try the restaurant and celebrate my partner's birthday. Upon arrival at the reception, the two women informed us that my reservation hadn't been recorded because nothing had been entered in the diary!?
The proposed solution: eat in 50 minutes flat because other customers were arriving.
There was no way I was going to wolf down the food and not enjoy it.
Very disappointed, as this restaurant had been highly recommended to us.

06/03/2026: We've been ordering from Wave Sushi for years and are always very happy. For takeout, we always receive our order in 20-30 minutes max. The food is good and fresh. I'll be ordering from Wave Sushi for a long time to come.
31/01/2026: Second order delivered in a month, and both times more than forty minutes late. What should have been a hot day isn't, which isn't normal.

19/03/2026: I have ordered from them several times with menus that were slightly modified and it was not a problem, and today I ordered and all the products are itemized and I ended up with a bill 15 euros more expensive than usual, with an omission on delivery, no seasoning for the bobun.

09/07/2025: I've been eating there for years and have never had food poisoning. It's a real treat; unfortunately, not many people go. So if you were hesitating, don't hesitate any longer and go! I forgot to mention, they cook to order, so if you have allergies, it's just perfect. They remove them. For example, I'm allergic to sesame seeds, so I just have to let them know before ordering, and I can finally eat California rolls ❤️

21/03/2026: I'm disgusted and disappointed. I just saw the administrative closure notice, and it was my first postpartum Japanese meal (I'd been dreaming of it!!). And I ate quite a bit of it afterward while I was breastfeeding... I was a loyal customer, and it disgusts me to see this! You're endangering your customers. I hope you end up being banned from working in the restaurant industry! You're filthy and dangerous!! Shameful! Change careers! 🤮 I'm disgusted that I gave you so much money!
