11/08/2024: We went there last month to eat local, except that it's a tourist trap and is very expensive. Hassle to park. Very warm welcome and very friendly.
The menu on the internet and the menu are not the same. And don't take holiday vouchers. Old-fashioned decoration lacking in modernity. The dishes are stuffy and not balanced enough. Won't go back for too much money.

13/09/2024: Nous retournons dans ce restaurant toujours avec autant de plaisir. L’accueil est agréable. Les mets sont délicieux, avec une jolie présentation. On déguste chaque plat en appréciant la qualité des produits. On peut aussi apercevoir le travail en cuisine . Ce n’est pas trop bruyant, ce qui est appréciable pour pouvoir papoter entre amis … Et cerise sur le gâteau, la note n’est pas trop salée ! ( si je peux me permettre ce genre d’humour…). En résumé, nous aimons beaucoup cet établissement, un vrai restaurant , et je regrette de ne pas en trouver plus comme ça.

I loved the foie gras starter on the bed of tartare, it was really delicious, very subtle. Then this risotto with scallops, above all, didn't change anything, I've never eaten anything so good.
I liked the dessert less but it was still very good.
If I had just one small downside it would be for the carafe of water. I noticed that we weren't the only ones laughing at this 'picnic' bottle. I think it has nothing to do with this kind of situation. restaurant it really disturbed us but at the same time we had a good laugh.

Royale porties zeker voor een Michelin restaurant.
Goede locale wijnen voor een betaalbare prijs.
Een niet te missen keuze aan veelal locale kazen.
Bijzonder plezierig was dat ook de hond welkom was in het restaurant.
Minpuntje dat aan het einde van ons bezoek het personeel ons bijzonder lang liet wachten op ons dessert.
Ondanks dat, is dit restaurant beslist aanbevelenswaardig.

Spécialités locales bien maîtrisées pour cette institution du Mont Dore.
Accueil agréable, prix dans la moyenne.
Passage obligatoire pour savourer du local de qualité dans l’assiette.
4/5 pour tout cela (cadre, accueil et plats) mais s’extasier culinairement par des notations à 5 n’est pas justifié tout de même !

01/09/2024: There was no wasabi! It's the basis... it's infuriating! Also missing the cutlery and ginger (less important).
The wakame salad was not good and although I like it, it clearly lacked freshness.
The spring rolls are undercooked: when the dough is still white it lacks crispness. I would also have liked the spring rolls to have salad and mint but that's personal.
The coleslaw is good.
Decent ravioli, maybe a little more filling is missing.
The sushi is good, too bad the wasabi was missing!

We liked it so much that we will come back tomorrow at noon
