28/08/2026: As always, a very pleasant place, superb cuisine. The cooking and seasoning were perfect. We had a very good time. A minor point about the dessert: I ordered the tartlet and only received half a slice. A bit of a shame, as the other two desserts at the table were very generous. It slightly unbalanced the experience at the end. I will gladly return, but I hope this point will be rectified.

12/08/2026: We discovered this restaurant, a true gem! The meal was excellent and plentiful, the decor was perfect, the welcome was very pleasant, and the atmosphere was reminiscent of the old days, which we miss so much today. I highly recommend this place. You truly deserve to work.

15/07/2026: Very disappointed. I stopped this morning because I needed a 30-minute break. After two minutes, a woman approached me and told me I couldn't stay because it was a private parking lot (which I understand if I wasn't buying anything). I politely replied that I hadn't seen it, and then I was coldly told, "It's written here, you have to read it." Well, yes, you do have to read it, but I didn't, and I wasn't aggressive. If you had come up to me, said hello, and told me that I could stay if I bought something, I probably would have stayed. But I barely had time to say a word, and your approach didn't exactly encourage me to come and buy anything. I just find it a shame, especially since if you had offered me something to eat and I hadn't, I would have left and wouldn't have written this comment because I understand that you can't enjoy the parking lot on which you pay taxes, maintenance, etc. if you don't buy anything, it's just a shame to approach people so coldly.

06/06/2026: A wonderful discovery in Cournon. Traditional cuisine that we love. Prompt service, friendly smiles, reasonable prices, and on top of that, delicious food. Why go anywhere else?

18/08/2026: We ate at this restaurant tonight! We were very well received and the food was absolutely delicious! The beef tartare and the burger were truly excellent! You can tell everything is homemade, and Madame's chocolate mousse is simply divine—you have to try it for yourself!! I recommend this place 200%! ☺️

17/08/2026: Calypso Restaurant — Our experience: 4.0/5 Like Calypso in Greek mythology, the restaurant evokes travel, escape, and a moment away from the everyday. And even if everything isn't perfect, the overall experience remains very pleasant. Atmosphere — 5/10 The atmosphere is quite nice and friendly, but it could be improved. There isn't really any background music: you mainly hear the conversations of the customers as well as noises coming from the kitchen. This doesn't spoil the meal, but a few well-chosen songs would have created a much more immersive and welcoming atmosphere. Layout of the dining room — 6/10 The dining room is well-organized and pleasant, although some details could be improved to make the space even more inviting. Cocktails — 9/10 A very good experience overall. Alcoholic cocktail: 8/10 — good and enjoyable. Non-alcoholic cocktail: 10/10 — a real success, very good and particularly appreciated. Food/Taste — 9/10 One of the restaurant's major strengths. The dishes are very good, flavorful, and definitely make you want to come back. Value for money — 9/10 Very good value for money. The quality offered is more than consistent with the prices. Service/Waiting time — 8/10 The wait for the food and cocktails isn't particularly long. The only minor drawback concerns the beginning of the meal: we weren't offered water upon arrival at our table. It's a small detail, but it could be improved. Customer service — 10/10 For us, this is the restaurant's best feature. The interaction with the staff is excellent, with genuine quality in the exchanges. A warm and welcoming atmosphere greatly contributes to a positive experience. Final score: 4.0/5 In short: a very good restaurant with excellent food, good cocktails, great value for money, and above all, top-notch staff. The main area for improvement would be the music. With a few more suitable tracks, Calypso could further transport its customers. Like in mythology, Calypso took us on a little journey… and it was quite a successful one!

10/07/2026: A small, family-run hotel with a very warm welcome. The spacious triple room was perfect for a couple with a child. Half-board is available at the hotel restaurant, which offers a varied menu every evening, featuring homemade dishes made with local produce. Special mention goes to the delicious daily desserts.

28/06/2026: Philippe from the group of 6 bikers The best place for a motorcycle trip! 🏍️ A true biker haven worthy of the name. The booking management is top-notch: the team is attentive and adapts to all needs (they found space for our 6 motorcycles in their garage despite another group being present, and managed our schedules and meals to suit our needs). We almost felt at home! As for the prices? Unbeatable value for money that defies all competition. The welcome on site is incredibly warm, with a smiling and helpful team. As for the food, the evening meals are excellent, varied, and showcase local specialties. Special mention for the packed lunches: simple, hearty, and perfect for the day's twisty rides. Go without hesitation, you won't be disappointed!
