23/05/2024: Arriving in Clermont-Ferrand for the Pentecost weekend, I found this small restaurant less than 5 minutes from my hotel, still open between 10:30 p.m. and 11:00 p.m. and with a good Google rating. The two managers of the place, two big, smiling, friendly and welcoming guys, the dishes cooked over a wood fire are really good and the very clean place is quiet at these times. I tried the marinated chicken skewer plate (succulent) salad and fries with samurai sauce, and the tacos with one or two meats (excellent discovery) plus fries all accompanied by a Perrier. Meal + drinks budget between 10 and 20 euros. My advice, go for it!

21/05/2024: Discovery of this grill by chance. Very warm welcome, very nice surprise by the quality of the plates. Beautiful veal and chicken skewers for us. A rare thing to be reported in this type of establishment, delicious homemade fries. Very good value for money, we will come back with pleasure.

I went back there recently and it's still very nice :) The teams have changed but the dishes are still good. I was even able to eat a vegan dish! 20/05/2024: Excellent cuisine, at a more than affordable price. Typical decoration worthy of a pretty little farmhouse. The dishes are generous from starter to dessert. Only two downsides, due to the fact that the room is not too big, a table of 8/10 people is enough to no longer hear each other talking. Also I regretted seeing the waitress welcome the customers in a cold and distant manner, people without reservations, did not have time to cross the door, that from the other end of the room she asked relatively loudly "do you have reserve?" (Without a hello, without any particular interest...). Likewise when we arrived (with reservation) she asked us from the other end of the room our name, which we did not appreciate because we had to say our name loud and clear in front of all the other customers. This welcome is for us the big downside of the time we spent in this establishment. Don't change anything in your recipes, but add a little human warmth to this lady. Otherwise the young man present at the service was also very pleasant, which saved the overall rating a little.

Furthermore, we ordered "the famous Caesar salad" to take away and we confirm that it was delicious, and I'm not talking about the strawberry pie😋 A rating out of 20: 21/20 Looking forward to it!
