Les meilleurs restaurants en Puy-De-Dome

17/09/2025: My girlfriend and I spent a week at the residence. We were a little worried about the cleanliness/old condition of the premises given the comments, and I must say that we saw nothing like that (week of August 9 to 16). The residence is certainly aging, but nothing bothersome for us. We had a great vacation, and were able to enjoy a very beautiful view.

14/09/2025: Our second stay at Super Besse, and the welcome was always so warm. Thanks to Morane, Océane, and Jonathan for their availability and kindness. We appreciated the apartment makeover and the new sofa, which was much more comfortable! It's a shame the weather let us down a bit. Thanks again to the entire team.

28/09/2024: Very friendly staff but the chicken is too dry 😔

26/09/2024: It's in free fall... Already really high prices, which neither quantity nor quality can justify! Several employees are missing, the waitress was completely overwhelmed! Burnt sauce not replaced, endless service, burnt waffle, unable to handle the bill properly...

28/10/2025: Lunch outside with a view of the park. Good quality food, well cooked, dessert was also good. Staff were welcoming and friendly.

24/08/2025: Waiting to take the order and then to be served. The server doesn't know the names of the milkshakes on offer and isn't particularly pleasant. The drinks don't look anything like the menu and are basically flavored milk with a few ice cubes. The waiter suggests we add whipped cream (in an industrial can). In short: 5.90 euros for very average flavored milk (we couldn't finish the red fruit one which was bad) it's a steal....

18/01/2026: How to describe what many are thinking… We wanted to make an appointment, but let's just say we gave up: - Online: not possible - By phone: not possible - In person: couldn't care less and told us to get lost Honestly, it's not worth it, and when you look a little closer, it's not about pleasing customers, but about making money. They bought up everything in the center of Mont Dore: three tourist trap restaurants, soulless bars, a gaming room that's so depressing and unwelcoming because there's no one there in person, all just to make money… Honestly, don't bother going there. It's about giving them financial satisfaction, not about customer satisfaction… Oh, and if you see 5-star reviews, they're fake. You can't have 1 star and 5 stars; one of them is definitely lying!!

18/01/2026: Excellent! We thoroughly enjoyed the truffade. It was delicious and the atmosphere was lovely. The decor was nice and the service was great too. It felt like we were on vacation. Thank you so much!

18/12/2024: I went there with my girlfriend and although we were (coldly) welcomed, no one, and I mean no one, came to see us to take our order, despite more than an hour waiting. Our clothing style being a bit bohemian, I suspect a slight facial appearance, which is quite simply a shame. Too bad, they lost two potential customers, and gained a bad review, but I guess the boss(es) doesn't care, since the money comes in anyway. Easy, when you're in such a good position, but that doesn't mean you don't have to do your job correctly. To avoid if you wear harem pants, therefore, or if you want to be well received and eat well, if other comments are to be believed...

17/06/2025: Food not fresh at all, avoid! I had a stomach ache all day... The staff is friendly but not very responsive... I definitely won't be coming back.

27/08/2025: August 9, 2025, mid-heat, 7 p.m. Four adults and a six-year-old child died of thirst after hiking up the Monne Gorges. We were refused drinks on the pretext that the place was full, even though a low table on the terrace was unoccupied. If you appreciate being well received, or simply being welcomed, move on. Daniel

17/08/2025: They refused to let us and our children have a drink and eat ice cream just after 6 p.m. in 95-degree weather. Even though I can understand the reasons (apparently everything was booked at 7 p.m. for dinner), I am disappointed by this lack of welcome for an establishment that displays "open," "welcome," and sports a gold "apéro-Thérapie" plaque... My rating in no way reflects their services, which we were unable to take advantage of, but only their disappointing quality of welcome for tired hikers at the end of the day.

29/11/2024: Too nice and too good!!! Really great customer service, the taste is there and we will return! We don't live far, so good to have a kebab like that near our house

04/11/2024: Food poisoning, I'm literally dying on the spot, my friends told me not to eat this kebab, I didn't listen to them and now I'm burning at 39°. I can't walk anymore, I'm really disappointed.

17/01/2025: To counterbalance the possible comment from the 2 bitter ladies who complained about their sirloin steak being too tough (well cooked for a nice piece of meat such as this sirloin steak which looked more like fillet...) and who succeeded in their attempt (they ate everything but paid nothing) I allow myself this comment. Very nice and good meat, cooked as requested (blue), fast and pleasant service. But the boss was impacted by these two angry people even though it wasn't worth it... At all! Since they apparently weren't in a good mood when they arrived. In any case, thank you for this good time. Being only passing through, I wish you good luck, and if I were to come back to the area, I know where to eat good meat! 🙏

24/08/2025: A restaurant that doesn't look like much, yet we really enjoyed this complete daily menu for €14.90. Unbeatable price, choice, quality products, good French cuisine just the way we like it! This is without a doubt our new canteen! Don't hesitate to come in, you won't be disappointed!

20/12/2025: Beware if you're allergic to buckwheat! All the pizzas at this pizzeria are made with buckwheat, but this isn't indicated on the menu. My partner had a severe allergic reaction after eating one and had to go to the emergency room… pizza night turned into a nightmare. The restaurant should clearly inform customers about the presence of this allergen, especially since buckwheat isn't used in most pizzas.

29/06/2025: When you order, don't forget the sauces. We pay for them!!! And the same goes for the napkins. I'm not happy about the lousy sauces, I won't come to that one anymore.
