18/05/2026: Simple dishes can be so delicious when things are done right and with good ingredients. That's what we experienced at La Gruppi restaurant. The rack of lamb with potatoes, a small salad, and a Provençal compote was exquisite. I hadn't enjoyed a meal so much in a restaurant in a long time. What great value for money! We were hiking and discovered this restaurant by chance because it was on our route. What a wonderful culinary and social experience we had! A friendly, local atmosphere. The owners are so welcoming; we felt like locals. We went on a Friday. A must-try!

10/06/2026: If you're looking for an establishment whose management lacks consideration for artists, this example unfortunately deserves mention. I learned that one of my concert dates had been canceled on the very day of the performance, and only because I had followed up with the establishment regarding a declaration and payment that still hadn't been processed. Without this action on my part, I would have simply driven there for nothing that evening. A month later, I learned that the other scheduled concert dates were also canceled. Again, without the slightest apology. Yet, after the first cancellation, I had taken the time to write a lengthy email to make management aware of the realities of being a freelance performing artist. In it, I explained, in particular, that the bulk of our work is concentrated during the peak season and that last-minute cancellations have real consequences for our work and our income. If every venue were to cancel performances at the last minute, without respecting commitments or showing any consideration for the professionals involved, it would simply become impossible for many artists to make a living from their craft. Clearly, this message wasn't enough to make management understand that music isn't just a hobby, but a real profession, practiced by professionals who deserve the same respect as any other service provider.

20/05/2026: A very good little restaurant in a villa in the center of Les Arcs. The highlights are the cuisine itself; you can tell the chef uses high-quality, homemade ingredients. The welcome and the waitresses are very friendly. The only downside, and this is just my personal opinion, is that I was still hungry despite the €35 set menu; I found the portions a little small, which rarely happens to me with menus at this price. Otherwise, a very good place.

23/04/2026: The owners are pleasant, but that's about it. Expensive for mediocre food. The location probably adds up, but the decor and atmosphere definitely need improvement.

23/05/2026: A bar more suited for drinks, the charcuterie board is average, as are the pizzas, but the focaccia is very good. The service is fairly quick but not particularly friendly.

17/05/2026: A bar on the Bandol waterfront, very well located and quite pleasant. However, one morning, I stopped in to order the €7.90 breakfast deal advertised on the front of the bar. I told the waiter, "Breakfast deal." He served me exactly what was included in the breakfast deal: a coffee with cream, toast, and freshly squeezed orange juice. When it came time to pay, the receipt showed €11.90. I was surprised and told the waiter, who replied, "You didn't ask me about the breakfast deal... What's the difference between the deal and what you served me?" His answer: "None." 🤔 In short, I paid €8, but I find the behavior unacceptable.

17/05/2026: Today, Stéphane delighted us with a romantic lunch. His small sardines, accompanied by a divinely dressed green salad, were a treat. The cod fillet with virgin sauce was excellent, and the desserts were superb, all for under €50 per person, including wine, aperitif, and coffee. Come and enjoy this wonderful meal; this chef is well worth the trip. Stéphane, the owner of this restaurant, is an excellent cook. He transforms fresh ingredients into exquisite dishes. His cuisine is refined, and he organized a birthday meal for me that left all the guests with wonderful memories. I highly recommend this establishment.

14/05/2026: There are some places where you just know you made the right decision to go! The Google reviews were good, and we understand why! A friendly waiter who makes you want to sit down. A menu that makes you feel like you'll be eating homemade food. Excellent value for money. A friendly and welcoming owner. A human touch that's so often lacking these days! In short, a great find for a wonderful evening! A special mention for the children's menu, which offers a dish from the regular menu at 50% off. Our daughter chose the sea bream with rice and loved it (a nice change from nuggets!). Thank you, gentlemen, for such a great time. Best of luck!

03/06/2026: A very good restaurant in Port Grimaud, with a warm welcome and quality cuisine. The fish dishes are excellent and the setting is very pleasant. Tip: be sure to book in advance, especially during peak season, to secure a table on the terrace overlooking the canals.
