13/04/2026: We loved it 3 years ago. We returned to the area and went back to Le Baron Gourmand. We found that the prices of alcohol had skyrocketed. What a shame.

05/04/2026: Authentic restaurant in a beautiful rural setting. A warm welcome and excellent service on the terrace! Generous and delicious menus. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal on Easter Sunday. The dishes were beautifully presented. What more can I say? Everything was excellent. We'll definitely be back!

The waitress spilled a tray of drinks on our neighbors, there was broken glass on the floor and liquid everywhere... Yes, being a waiter is a profession, but these days everyone's just winging it... Anyway, the meat was tough, the fries were tiny portions (I didn't even ask if we were having a good time), there was only one toilet for everyone with a sink inside, and the door was filthy, and there wasn't another sink. We didn't say a word. In short, that was the last time 😬

18/05/2026: Awful menu: tasteless tomatoes, wilted salad, cafeteria-style rice, chicken as dry as wood. The honest waiter told me he agreed with me and that I should have ordered the cassoulet! We paid without finishing our meal. After my complaints, the manager told me to go ahead and leave a negative review, so I did. The food is just like its owner...

18/05/2026: The menu was appalling, unlike anything I've ever eaten. The salad was wilted, the confit duck breast was incredibly salty, and the sausage was bone dry and also very salty. We left mid-meal... AVOID AT ALL COSTS! It's scandalous to serve food like this.

03/10/2025: The omelet was good. But the welcome was deplorable. If the owner's intention was to make me feel like I didn't like the look of me, he succeeded perfectly. I don't think I was either rude or rude. Slow service. He walked past me, pretending not to notice I'd finished. The same thing happened when I paid. In short, in the end, I was so fed up with being so poorly received (despite a few futile attempts at courtesy) that I left without even saying goodbye. Enough is enough!

10/06/2026: I had lunch with a friend, and it was undoubtedly one of the worst restaurants I've been to in a long time. Almost all the meat was black. The beef and cheese skewers were visually black, the chicken was bland, and none of the meat was seasoned: it simply had no flavor. The buffet was unappetizing. The mussels tasted stale, and what about the scallops served with mayonnaise… I sincerely hope I don't get sick. The sauces were sticky and greasy. The only positive thing about this meal was the waiter, Kilian: always smiling and very efficient at clearing the tables. He asked me if everything was alright, and I explained my disastrous experience. He seemed embarrassed by the situation and genuinely concerned. Unfortunately, that wasn't enough to redeem the whole experience. I will never go back. This is a place to avoid. At that price, I'd much rather eat a sandwich. A complete disaster.
