30/06/2026: Good, but... The meat is excellent, but the cooking wasn't done properly (even though the waitress kindly offered to change the ribeye since we had chosen it, we declined). The hanger steak was literally covered in pepper, which is a real shame. The setting is beautiful, the terrace is pleasant, but I advise you to arrive early, otherwise you can't see your food because the lighting is poor. The music is a bit too loud.

24/06/2026: In the midst of a heatwave, Lac des Sapins is a true oasis of coolness! We came here to escape the sweltering temperatures and we weren't disappointed—the shade of the fir trees, the clear, cool water of the lake, it was exactly what we needed. A magnificent natural setting, a serene and soothing atmosphere, far from the hustle and bustle of the city. Perfect for swimming, walking, or simply relaxing in the shade and enjoying the peace and quiet. A true slice of paradise that we're delighted to have (re)discovered this summer. A must-do when the heat becomes unbearable!

23/05/2026: Very negative review this lunchtime, whereas usually, as a regular customer of this restaurant, I have no complaints. Today, despite very few people (barely 6 or 7 in the restaurant), the service was particularly disappointing. The waiter seemed to be neglecting all his duties: taking our order took a very long time, I had to go and get it, and I had to ask twice for the children's kit, which is normally provided as soon as we sat down. The transition between courses was also interminable. Apparently, cleaning lampshades during service seemed more important than serving customers. When I pointed out that it might not be appropriate to perform this type of task during service, I was told that it came from the manager's instructions. It would have been much more sensible to clean the sticky stain on the floor, which I pointed out as soon as I arrived at 11:45 am in front of three members of the team who were themselves seated at a table eating. Finally, dessert arrived, followed immediately by the bill: a real lack of professionalism. They make you wait to be served, but when it comes to taking your payment, everyone is available. In short, a very disappointing experience this lunchtime, with a lethargic, uninvolved team who accepted feedback with a blasé and haughty air.

09/07/2026: Unfortunately, the experience fell far short of the establishment's claimed premium positioning. The meal had started on a rather positive note with the vitello tonnato, which was well-prepared and enjoyable, even if the seasoning was already a touch overpowering. The rest of the meal proved considerably less convincing. The meat, ordered rare, was cooked very unevenly: some of it was cooked to the requested liking, while the rest was noticeably overcooked. At this price point, and in a restaurant focused on meat products, such a disparity is difficult to understand. The fries, meanwhile, were excessively thin, far too salty, and particularly greasy. Their thinness seemed to have caused them to absorb a significant amount of oil, to the detriment of crispness and overall enjoyment. The tiramisu was the main disappointment of the meal. Overly sweet, weighed down by a particularly rich cream, and lacking the expected freshness and balance, it was more reminiscent of a mass-produced dessert than a homemade creation. Probably one of the least successful tiramisus I've tasted in Paris. The red wine, a Saint-Julien, was unfortunately no better. My glass contained a particularly significant amount of sediment, presumably because it came from the bottom of the bottle. The presence of sediment is understandable in some mature wines, but here it warranted more attention during service, perhaps even decanting, or at the very least, not pouring the last of the wine. Above all, the wine had a tired profile on the palate, with muted fruit and an impression that it had lost its freshness, or perhaps had been left open too long. The service was very friendly, warm, and convivial. However, it clearly lacked precision and professionalism, especially considering the establishment's reputation: recurring hesitations, occasional clumsy gestures, and cutlery dropped on the floor during service. This relaxed atmosphere might be pleasant in a more informal setting, but here it seems out of place with the restaurant's business and premium image, as well as its price point. The seating arrangement also hinders the enjoyment of the meal. Our table combined traditional chairs with a very deep and low banquette, into which one sinks. The posture quickly becomes uncomfortable, with the back pushed backward and the stomach compressed, while the banquette seating places those seated significantly lower than their companions. Finally, the acoustics of the room could really use some improvement. The space produces a significant reverberation effect, making conversations difficult as soon as the restaurant fills up. Installing sound-absorbing panels or other acoustic elements would considerably improve the overall comfort. In the end, despite a promising start and friendly staff, the imprecise cooking of the meat, the poorly executed side dishes, the very disappointing dessert, the problem encountered with the wine, the lack of attention to detail in the service, and the insufficient comfort do not justify such a high bill. The setting and location create legitimate expectations, but the quality of the experience offered that day unfortunately fell short.

06/07/2026: Overall, a mixed experience… Below is the detailed review: - Positive points: warm atmosphere and setting on a beautiful avenue, very pleasant service. Decent desserts. - Negative points: slightly disorganized service, but the starters and main courses…over €15 for 4 prawns, our meat was undercooked and even after recooking, still a step below what we ordered! And it seems to me that the gorgonzola/honey sauce was forgotten in favor of a classic pepper sauce…certainly good quality with good meat…but not what we had asked for. With a final bill of over €140 for 2 people, we expect exemplary service and no deviations from a simple cooking method. Perhaps it was just an off day, but not to be repeated…

11/07/2026: A wonderful discovery and what a joy to find a restaurant where almost all the dishes and desserts are available gluten-free! We enjoyed pizzas and an incredible gourmet coffee, the four delicious little desserts of which were all gluten-free.
