26/01/2025: Regional dishes, good and plentiful. Just a shame that it arrives lukewarm, even almost cold... Slow service, I think there is a shortage of staff... It's a shame to serve the children's menu last for a 3-year-old child, even though it had been requested to be served at the same time as the starters... Otherwise nice setting. I find that the restaurant is too large in terms of number of seats...hence certainly the very long wait

24/01/2025: You want to eat good tartes flambées, go to Le Marronier Cozy frame And thank you to the waitress present this Saturday January 18, very smiling and communicative. We will come back with great pleasure.

16/12/2024: We were very excited when they were able to fit us in last minute. We spent $83.10 euros between my partner and I; this included 2 drinks, 2 appetizers, and 2 entrees. Which for the quality of the meal, I think it was well worth the splurge. I ordered the Riesling with an onion tart and the chicken entree. All of which were fantastic! The chicken came with a delicious cheese sauce. My partner ordered the beer/picon, escargot and jambonneau. The crust on the jamonneau was so dang good. I tried to take nibble whenever he’d let me 🤣. Personally, not a fan of escargot but this was far better than the last time I tried it. Overall, we had a great time! Got to mingle with the group of locals sat next to us - bit of a language barrier but laughing is a universal language.

21/06/2024: A very nice and convenient spot, situated in the little roads being the Strasbourg Cathedral. We visited early afternoon on a weekday, a few customers, all seemed to be enjoying themselves and so did we! Friendly service and we had the opportunity to create our own atmosphere. 20/09/2024: Je viens régulièrement en accompagnant une personne âgée qui apprécie beaucoup ce restaurant. Je fréquente pas mal de restaurants dans la région ce qui me donne la légitimité de recommander le "Coq d'Or" sans hésiter. Aussi bien pour le charmant accueil de la patronne, le choix des plats que j'ai toujours apprécié, et pour le service assuré par Rémy qui est d'une efficacité rarement rencontrée. Bravo. Rémy Martin

01/01/2025: A side street, a small shop and those wonderfully delicious hamburgers that will surprise you. I can say that it is the best hamburger I have eaten in a long time. As i who has traveled to many places in Europe, I can say that you should definitely try this flavor. The smiling face of the chef will make this flavor even sweeter. Thank you very much for this delicious flavor.

27/08/2024: Simple, traditional and delicious cuisine, our children and we enjoyed the crispy and cheesy veal cordon bleu, the cream escalope with its mushroom sauce, the osso bucco and its marrow bone and the medallion from monkfish to melting thai we had a great time. The menu is small and changes regularly for seasonal products and we feel they are of quality. To be recommended therefore.
