05/04/2026: The Villa Lalique restaurant is located in a modern, fully glazed extension with stunning views of the surrounding nature. Lalique crystal glass is, of course, omnipresent, but without appearing ostentatious or overdone. Chef Paul Stradner and his team conjure up visually stunning, but above all, sensationally flavorful dishes. Sometimes delicate flavors are combined (sea bream with carrot), but also bolder ones, like pigeon with Black Forest cherry tart. And the pumpkin seed butter! And a dessert featuring cocoa beans... Incredibly precise and delicious! The wine pairings are also outstanding. One can only wonder: Where is the third Michelin star? The service is naturally friendly, never intrusive or snobbish, but always absolutely professional. It's a nice touch that the chef himself makes the rounds of the restaurant towards the end of the meal to chat with the guests. We had a perfect evening and thanks to the free shuttle we were happily chauffeured to the Hotel Chateau Hochberg.

05/04/2026: The service was quick and normal, the setting typical of Alsace, but the food... No choice, even though we were told there would be a limited menu in addition to the Easter menu... €45 for a starter, main course, and dessert... Two dishes in sauce that just need reheating and are inexpensive... Lamb rump steak 😅 Everyone knows that leg of lamb should be cooked quickly and not in a stew because it becomes dry, so roasted, cooked pink with a jus, that's acceptable, but this in a sauce, we wondered if it wasn't beef bourguignon or pork... So, in terms of quality and price, there's a discrepancy! I don't want to blame anyone, but they need to rethink things; otherwise, we're surprised that people don't go to restaurants anymore and prefer to cook at home!

05/04/2026: Very disappointed with our Easter family meal. I called three weeks ago to make a reservation, asking if they knew the menu, and they said no, but that wasn't a big deal. I made sure they had other options, and the person told me there would be an à la carte menu, a smaller one, but a menu nonetheless. Arriving today, I was surprised to find only the Easter menu (45 euros, no less!). The meal wasn't bad (served not very hot, but never mind...). 45 euros for a menu with vol-au-vents? What a rip-off! The "rump steak" of lamb was more like an overcooked stew in sauce. The side dishes were meh... so-so rice and mashed potatoes. The only nice thing was the foie gras crème brûlée. A chocolate mousse for dessert. And the price of the wines?! So, sorry, but disappointed. It felt like a complete rip-off! And of course, no one in charge to discuss it with. I didn't want to bother the waiters, who were very kind and did the best they could....

15/03/2026: Absolutely fantastic! I called at the last minute to reserve a table for two and we received a super warm welcome. They accepted my dog ​​and even seated us in a quiet corner so she could be undisturbed. The waiter even brought her a bowl of water during the meal, a truly lovely touch. The pizzas were excellent, and the chocolate fondant… incredible! The waiter was very pleasant and smiling. The interior is also beautifully decorated, and the atmosphere is cozy. I had already been there in the summer to eat on the terrace, and it was just as enjoyable. I highly recommend it!

The staff is incredibly kind and attentive without being intrusive. A highly recommended address for experiencing Michelin-starred cuisine for the first time.

08/03/2026: The setting was sublime, and the service exceptional—very attentive and pleasant. The team accommodated dietary requirements without any problem and with great kindness. The six-course menu was exceptional: French cuisine showcasing high-quality local Alsatian products. Each dish had a surprising, interesting, and delicious twist, making the experience even more memorable. I was particularly impressed by the scallops and the truffle dish. Everything was extremely refined, with perfectly balanced flavors. The wine list is extensive, although the prices sometimes seem unreasonable compared to their market value. But with a little searching, you can find some truly excellent bottles.

10/12/2025: I ate there with my 7-year-old daughter and it was frankly mediocre. - The tarte flambée wasn't very good (industrial base and cream, mediocre bacon) - The steak frites from the children's menu was on par with a motorway service station restaurant - My dish... the pork cheeks weren't homemade The service was friendly, but the food was more than average.

15/03/2026: In response to your reply: I am a man! And no one asked me if I was satisfied with my meal. In which case, I would have honestly expressed my dissatisfaction... Beware, "Overconfidence leads to recklessness." The setting and atmosphere were decent, but what a disappointment on the plate considering the price!! A tiny fillet of sea bream (not sure it was a whole fillet) literally drowned in a so-called emulsion sauce, far too strong in curry and ginger. Accompanied by tiny vegetables, also swimming in water... For dessert, a tiny piece of the daily special tart... ordered out of desperation given the prices of the other desserts... Very disappointed. Nothing here is gourmet, except the prices. Sorry...

05/04/2026: Don't spill anything and definitely don't use their cloth napkin: some disrespectful old man will come and lecture you. People like that shouldn't be allowed to interact with customers anymore. That was the last time we came.
