07/02/2026: We've been going to this restaurant for a long time and it's always a pleasure. The atmosphere is very pleasant, the traditional cuisine is delicious and very tasty. The owner is very friendly and an excellent cook. The staff is smiling, attentive, and efficient. An address we recommend without hesitation.

06/02/2026: This restaurant used to be FABULOUS, with hearty and generous portions. Since the change of ownership, it's been a disaster. We were there on a Saturday at lunchtime: the service was appalling, the waitress unfriendly, the beautiful decor is gone, and what about the food... we left hungry. My mother ordered sauerkraut: she received a sort of casserole dish with one sausage, two small pieces of meat, two potatoes, and a crusty layer of sauerkraut (which was burnt and dry...). As for dessert: I've never eaten such a bad crème brûlée in my life... I strongly advise against this restaurant, which has lost its charm and its cuisine... Keep walking.

17/01/2026: A very good restaurant located near Place de Pierre. The price range is quite ok, the dishes are well served and savory. I would assuredly give it another go in other circumstances, the sooner the better. Great service, great premises, great cuisine.

The show that followed had nothing to envy of that of the Parisian cabarets, it was superb. Then we went to the lounge club to dance and have a drink in a somewhat magical room. 10/11/2025: This is the third time in a row that when I pick up my order, even though I arrive early, my pizzas are already ready... and have been for ages... and are barely lukewarm. Please update the opening hours on the website if the wait is too long; it's just annoying to pay €25 only to have to turn the oven on again, etc. Otherwise, the staff are great.

We’ve laughed, shared, celebrated… and even our daughter’s christening on this superb terrace, transformed that day into an absolutely magical jungle setting. Children have their own space; they can play while the parents relax. And that’s so rare, it deserves to be highlighted. But last night, for Valentine’s Day, time stood still. The candlelit dining room, the soft lighting, the hushed atmosphere… you don’t feel like you’re in a restaurant, but rather a guest somewhere special. Something sincere, warm, almost familial. Then the dishes arrive. The creamy prawn risotto… comforting, fragrant, perfectly balanced. It’s the kind of dish that makes you close your eyes at the first bite, the best I’ve ever had. The veal loin in a Parmesan crust, tender and meltingly soft, accompanied by a rich jus… a dish that speaks volumes without being over the top. And the delicate chocolate-raspberry dessert, a sweet ending to the evening. But what truly stands out isn't just what's on the plate. 23/11/2025: Food was great, service terrible. The cuisine at A l'Homme Sauvage is truly outstanding – from the frog legs to the tarte flambée, everything was top-notch. The service, however, was chaotic: orders were taken, then forgotten, and only reappeared when it came time to pay. Drinks also simply got lost in the shuffle. Important for dog owners: Large dogs seem to be unwelcome here. My 40-kg Malamute, due to its size, briefly touched a neighboring table with its tail while standing – immediately prompting a snarky reprimand from the owner. At the same time, a small dog at the next table was allowed to sit at chair height and bark regularly without any reaction. This double standard was blatant. (Food for thought!) Conclusion: Excellent food, but the service and treatment of guests – especially owners of larger dogs – clearly need improvement.

08/12/2025: A delightful surprise awaited us by chance on the road. A calf's head worth the trip alone, tripe Milanese better than anything we'd ever tasted, and service that radiated the chef and his wife's genuine pleasure in welcoming guests... A memory that will definitely bring us back. PS: A special mention also goes to the homemade bread.

05/12/2025: The fried Munster cheese is amazing. The cheese is delicious, and the accompanying salad is enormous. I highly recommend it. For dessert, I had a small three-scoop ice cream: cinnamon, mirabelle plum, and raspberry. My only regret is that I should have ordered two scoops of cinnamon; it was absolutely divine. Go to this restaurant; your taste buds will thank you. This wasn't my first visit to this restaurant, which speaks volumes about its quality. I'll be back soon.
