13/06/2026: This restaurant is a bit hidden in the market area and takes some finding, but the interior is beautiful and the service is friendly. The food is high quality, the menu is small and seasonal. The homemade fries are amazing! The daily special is excellent value for money! The only downside is that the dining room is very noisy and the service is often quite slow.

13/09/2026: I was a little worried when I arrived: when a fast food place tries to do absolutely everything, from kebabs to pizzas to "tacos" (a catch-all French concept, nothing like real Mexican tacos), it's usually awful. Surprisingly, the döner kebab was quite good. The meat (homemade spit-roasted) was excellent. It's a shame the fries were frozen. I didn't try anything else.

26/08/2026: Don't make pide, especially don't make pide with döner. It was the worst thing I've ever eaten. The döner was so dried out inside the pide that there was a risk of injury while eating it. The thickness of the pide dough was about the same as Black Sea bread. If you can't do it, then don't do it, you're not obligated. I'm really angry!!!

06/07/2026: We came to celebrate my daughter's birthday and everything was perfect. The melon carpaccio with feta and mint was a delight for starters. We then tried the fish, the pork tenderloin, and the linguine: not a single misstep. Generous portions, fresh ingredients, beautifully presented, and a warm yet professional welcome. Special mention for the birthday dessert brought with its candle – a lovely touch. We'll be back.

We organized a kougelhopf workshop for our group as part of our language immersion trip to Alsace, and it was one of the highlights of our trip. Ludovic welcomed us with great kindness and enthusiasm. He explained all the steps involved in making authentic Alsatian kougelhopf, patiently answering our many questions. The workshop was friendly, informative, and delicious, and above all, entirely in French—exactly what we were looking for for our American group! A truly wonderful way to discover not only an Alsatian specialty, but also the expertise and passion of a local artisan. Thank you, Ludovic, for your warm welcome, your generosity, and this wonderful memory of Obernai. We highly recommend this experience! ❤️🥨🇫🇷

21/09/2026: There's something about this establishment's online reputation that deserves serious attention. For the past nine days, a string of overwhelmingly positive reviews has appeared. And not just a few "very good," "friendly staff," or "I recommend it." We're talking about particularly long, well-structured, detailed, and surprisingly promotional testimonials, with recurring themes: impeccable cleanliness, an exceptional team despite the rush, a family atmosphere, an ever-present and wonderful owner with children, and an exceptionally varied menu. Taken individually, each of these reviews could perfectly well be genuine. But when you look at them together, the question becomes legitimate: why did this series of reviews suddenly appear, almost simultaneously, with such similar themes and a similar way of presenting the establishment? I took the time to look at the profiles in question. Some are old and have a substantial history on Google. This makes it impossible to say that these accounts were recently created for this purpose. But this doesn't answer another question at all: could existing accounts have been solicited, encouraged, or used as part of an organized campaign to artificially improve the establishment's image? It's this possibility that bothers me. Because a Google review isn't an advertisement. It's supposed to represent a consumer's experience. Someone consulting these reviews to choose a restaurant should be able to assume they're reading genuine testimonials, not a disguised marketing campaign. And if this reputation were artificially enhanced, the consequences wouldn't only affect consumers. It would also give a potentially misleading image of the workplace. Prospective employees can also consult reviews before applying. Presenting an establishment as a model of friendliness, professionalism, and a family atmosphere when the reality is different would amount to artificially embellishing not only the customer experience but also the image of working conditions. It's precisely for this reason that I find this situation particularly serious. I don't criticize a restaurant for having good reviews. Nor do I criticize customers for being genuinely satisfied. What I reject is the idea that a business might try to fabricate a reputation that doesn't reflect the reality experienced there. And if everything is perfectly natural, all the better. In that case, it should be very easy to explain this unusual concentration of reviews, their striking similarity in themes, and this succession of testimonials that sometimes give the impression of reading a promotional campaign rather than spontaneous consumer experiences. Because ultimately, the question is extremely simple: Why artificially create the impression that everything is exceptional if the reality is enough to convince customers? An establishment that truly does good work doesn't need to manufacture its image. It can let its customers speak freely, with their praise as well as their criticisms. Consumers deserve to know what they are actually buying. Employees deserve to have their workplace represented honestly. And Google reviews deserve to remain reviews, not become a disguised advertising platform. If these reviews are spontaneous, so be it. If there's an organized process behind them, then consumers have a right to know. Trust is earned, not manufactured.

21/09/2026: It's been almost a year since I last went to McDonald's. Given the slow service and the drive-thru, it's a real "fast food" place. I came back today because I had enough points for a meal, and... "national glitch"! I can't use my points, so I have to pay for my meal. Plus, I'm paying for a meal that won't count towards my loyalty card benefits. And on top of that, it's cold. Seriously, goodbye McDonald's. In France, you're a complete failure. You're neither a restaurant nor a fast food place.

03/10/2026: Mixed review We've been to this restaurant several times, and the experience is always the same: the food is really very good, but the service is disastrous. You feel rushed, unwelcome, and I've never seen a single employee smile. Whether dining in or taking away, you get the feeling they're just eager for you to leave. It's a real shame because, once again, the food is fantastic! But we don't plan on returning if we have to endure this every time.

29/09/2026: Honestly, it's great despite the small size of the place, but the food is absolutely delicious. The lamb chops, shish tawook, rice with vermicelli, bulgur, fattoush, and knafeh were all amazing. A huge thank you to all the staff!

13/09/2026: What a superb culinary experience! A warm welcome, extremely kind, welcoming, funny, and very competent staff. The place is very clean, original, and peaceful. As for the quality and presentation of the dishes, the ingredients were truly exceptional, superbly cooked, and the flavors were unique and beautifully combined. We absolutely loved it. We highly recommend it and will definitely return.

29/08/2026: The welcome was excellent and warm. The cocktails were original and of a good standard. We chose the Argentinian barbecue on Friday evening: 1 kg of flavorful meat cooked perfectly, very good chimichurri, and perfect homemade fries. Dessert: good, though a little heavy on the whipped cream. The Chilean wines were of a good standard and paired well. Special mention for the quality of service: light and friendly from start to finish. We will definitely return.

07/08/2026: We knew this place before Covid; the beef fillet was between 4.5 and 5 cm. We went there in August, and the fillet was 15 mm thick. It was cooked medium (pink), even though we ordered it rare. The sauce wasn't homemade, and we had heartburn. There's a lack of staff, and it's impossible to satisfy customers under these conditions.
