06/09/2026: It's incredible, go for it! Finishing your plate is quite a feat given the generous portions, but it's so delicious! The decor and service really set the mood for a traditional wine bar. I'll definitely be back next time I'm in Strasbourg :)

05/09/2026: An intimate restaurant with impeccable service, delicate, generous, and comforting cuisine, as Alsatian cooking often is. The decor perfectly captures the quintessential image of a winstub. After touring Alsace, this is one of, if not the, best places we ate.

27/08/2026: We came on Sunday evening. The welcome was perfect, the service excellent and very fast. The tarte flambée was delicious. As other reviews have mentioned, the owner/chef's thoughtful touch of coming to the dining room to ask if everything was alright was always appreciated. We will be back very soon.

13/07/2026: What a great find . We had traveled for 9 hours on our motorbikes , dealing rather tired ! I asked a local lady where a hotel was . She sent us here! The lady on reception was really kind and accomodating . The hotel was perfect , nice rooms and beautifully kept . The restaurant was closed but it was ok , we were guided to a fantastic local restaurant 3 mins away . Breakfast was perfect . We left refreshed thank you so much

17/05/2026: A very pleasant 4-night stay. The (premium) room was spacious and welcoming, with a very comfortable bathroom and thoughtful overall decor. Excellent bedding. Breakfasts were perfect, with a wide selection of products (several different kinds of bread, for example), and a well-stocked buffet. You feel at ease and comfortable in this place where everything is done to ensure a pleasant stay. The owner and staff are welcoming and friendly. Very well located, especially for visiting Strasbourg.

07/09/2026: Royal couscous night, so where do I even begin... 3 adults, 1 child: 2 merguez sausages, one meatball per person, chicken was fine, 4 pieces of lamb bones (no lamb), 4kg of semolina (well, yes, that's the cheapest option...). The vegetables... we practically had to fight over them, no chickpeas, no harissa... luckily it was a Royal couscous and luckily we had a child with us who doesn't eat much. €100 for the couscous alone, not counting the rest, and we were still hungry. No bread. I wanted 3 scoops of ice cream with whipped cream (€9.60), but I said no. Thieves! And when I asked for more merguez because we had some, they only brought 2. They can't waste anything, not even 2 more to apologize or offer coffee.

06/09/2026: We will definitely return to this restaurant where the welcome is warm, the service impeccable and attentive, and the food delicious. Personally, I'll remember the chef's potatoes. A delight.

28/08/2026: Excellent place! Many tables were occupied, which is a good sign. The Camembert and Munster cheese with fries as a main course was very generous. The foie gras and scallop salad as a main course was excellent, but perhaps a little small for a big appetite. Very friendly welcome and fast, top-notch service. Highly recommended!

09/09/2026: A family visit to this Alsatian restaurant, with its lovely, traditional decor. It was a Thursday evening, so it wasn't very busy and therefore not noisy. The waitress and waiter were very pleasant and attentive. The meals were very generous and we thoroughly enjoyed them. The prices are average, but the generous portions are much appreciated! A great find.

25/04/2026: Last Saturday, we had the pleasure of enjoying a wonderful lunch with a large group. The welcome was exceptionally friendly and professional, the interior modern, stylish, and spotlessly clean. The food was a true highlight. We were particularly impressed by the restaurant's child-friendliness – both the selection on the menu and the warm, playful manner of the staff. A big thank you to the entire team. We would love to come back again.

The food and wine service are of an exceptionally high standard and truly deserve a Michelin star. The very friendly welcome and the consistently attentive, but never intrusive, service made the entire evening feel effortless. We also experienced truly authentic, first-class Alsatian cuisine, which was absolutely perfect. The portions and the impeccable presentation of the dishes were perfectly balanced. Ms. Benedict's wine recommendations were also excellent; she was always attentive, allowing us to fully enjoy the entire evening. It was our wedding anniversary, which also included our birthday, and we will definitely be returning in the future, even without any special occasions.
