25/12/2025: The starters were perfect, we didn’t like our main dishes as much as the starters. We had a citron tart as dessert and it was delicious!

20/12/2025: Culinary edification and stupefaction. Familiar staples reimagined. The restaurant was emptying out at 8.45pm on a Saturday, but it soon filled up again. Beer on tap.

01/09/2024: Very good restaurant, we were passing through recommended by our host, I highly recommend, the Joux de porc walnuts are excellent and the wild blueberry tart too.

20/08/2024: An unfortunate first experience following the room service. We only had wine glasses. The young waitress takes the liberty of showing me that my wife already had a glass by making the following sign: (With her fingers, index and middle fingers she places them in front of her eyes then shows me with still index and middle fingers the wine glass which is on the table!!! Like “Dude, you can’t see clearly!!! » I didn't say anything because my wife didn't want any scandal because she was with her mother and a friend. This is no way to respond to a customer! Then she shows me a wine glass even though we had asked for water glasses!? I am waiting to see the manager of this establishment to talk to him about it and only then will I perhaps change my opinion.

01/01/2026: We just left this hostel. As usual, it was perfect. The all-you-can-eat buffet (starter and dessert) and main course (game, meat, and fish) were very good. They often offer themed menus on Sundays. The atmosphere was calm and friendly. Friendly and attentive staff. I always go there the day after New Year's and I never regret it. See you soon ☺

24/12/2025: We celebrated the walking club's Christmas meal. The service was quick and efficient. Good value for money. The only downside: the dessert was very sweet and had a rather indistinct flavor.

08/12/2025: The three of us went there on a Sunday afternoon around 3 pm. Despite the time, the restaurant was quite full, which speaks volumes, but they still managed to get us a table without a reservation. The tarte flambée there is fantastic. The service was friendly, and being served in German was no problem at all. The food arrived really quickly, and the prices are great :) We highly recommend this restaurant!

22/12/2025: Thank you to Le Pigeonnier for this excellent meal; the foie gras, ribeye steak, and duck breast were superb (that orange sauce!!!), as was the warm welcome, as always. It was a real pleasure to win this contest and share all these delights with my mom as the holidays approach. Take care and see you next year!

22/06/2025: I hadn't been to this establishment for over 10 years... and one Saturday morning, I wanted to sit down and have a simple long coffee with a glass of water... a decent welcome from the server, but then, what shocked me the most was the price of the long coffee: €3.20... And then they tell me that American chains are expensive... an espresso with water added... €3.20... I had to wait a good 15 minutes afterward to be billed... the server was preoccupied chatting with regulars on his chair and at their tables... I had to get up and politely ask for the bill. I asked to pay by credit card, and he kindly told me that he only accepts cards for amounts over €10. I asked in the same tone if the information was posted at the entrance or at the checkout, and he replied: "Well, yes, it's a €10 minimum for all credit card payments…" so he didn't answer my question, and the display wasn't in order. He still accepted my credit card payment, having not anticipated any change since there was no display indicating this. I left with a bitter taste and slightly disappointed by this experience. Update to my comment 06/22/25: On the Legifrance website, it is clearly stated that the minimum payment accepted by credit card must be displayed. This display wasn't there in your establishment when I visited, so you can't impose this without complying with the regulations. It doesn't work à la carte the way you want it to. You mention bank fees. I was a merchant for three years and I experienced this situation. These fees should be negotiated with your banker to reduce them. FYI: Refusing to pay for a contactless payment of less than €10 will cause you to lose a certain number of customers... When I came, I asked for a long coffee, not a large coffee. So you charged me more for my coffee and served me something other than what I initially requested. At that point, the merchant must inform that they do not offer long coffee so that the customer can choose another product. Thank you.

31/01/2026: Hello, I'm very disappointed with the quality of this supposedly 4-star hotel. I'm still trying to figure out where the stars are hidden. Anyway, no complaints about the staff, but having stayed in other 4-star hotels in Alsace, I'm disappointed. The bed creaks when you turn over (I won't go into details), the shower head wobbles, and the hot water takes 5 minutes to arrive. As for breakfast, for a 4-star hotel, nothing is homemade, not even orange juice. In short, when I book a 4-star hotel, it's not to get the conditions of a chain hotel.

27/01/2026: Magnificent hotel! 👍 The room and bathroom were absolutely top-notch. Impeccable bedding. A small balcony overlooking a little park. And so peaceful! The hotel restaurant is outstanding and definitely worth a visit. 👍 The staff is very friendly. And the gym and spa are also undeniable bonuses. A real gem! 😍
