11/03/2026: Today at lunchtime, I had a hamburger with raclette cheese and cured ham. I thought it would have a ground beef patty. But no, just a hamburger bun, half a slice of cheese, and half a slice of ham for €6.90—that's highway robbery! I used to be a regular customer!

01/06/2026: We were a little disappointed with our Mother's Day meal. The dishes arrived cold and the fries seemed reheated. We were also surprised to have to pay €3.40 for a carafe of water when tap water is supposed to be free. Furthermore, the most senior waitress was not at all friendly. In contrast, the young, brunette waitress was very smiley, pleasant, and professional, which was a positive aspect of our experience.

02/07/2026: I ordered an excellent cheese pide to go today, and it was served very quickly (less than 10 minutes, which was a huge help as I was in a hurry). The bread was perfect, the topping of raw vegetables and cheese was delicious, and the portion was more than generous (I couldn't finish it all in one sitting!). The staff were very friendly too. I'm very satisfied; thank you for saving my lunch break :)

01/07/2026: In short, I ate a kebab. The meat (chicken?) was dry and rubbery. However, the vegetables were fresh. The chef tried to be friendly, but he brought me a scalding hot glass to pour my cold drink into 😅. The terrace is nice, but unfortunately, I won't be eating there again.

Okay, there's a bit of a wait between tarte flambée orders, but that doesn't justify the bad reviews at all. You can feel the family atmosphere of the restaurant. The terrace is lovely, nestled under the linden trees.

The Restaurant de la Bruche is a family-run restaurant where they serve good daily specials for €13, €17.80 for a starter and main course, and €18.30 for a main course and dessert. If you'd like a set menu, it's between €22 and €26. The daily specials feature fresh meat cooked to order with side dishes. I came three days in a row because we were hiking in the Bruche Valley, so I was able to try two daily specials and a set menu on the third day. All three dishes were of good quality; the meat was well-cooked but tender, and the portions were sufficient. For the set menu, I had a sirloin steak. It was nice and thick, rare as I had requested, and the plate was filled with fries. Despite the crowds, Stéphanie came by to check that everything was alright and that nothing was missing. To finish, I had a coffee. I can't comment on the desserts because I have to avoid sugar. But I think that given this You can rest assured about the quality of the food. The restaurant has approximately 35 seats. Currently, there are more on sunny days since there's a quiet terrace. Parking is no problem; there's a free parking lot about 50 meters away. I had a great time at this friendly restaurant with good value for money, and I wish you a pleasant meal.

05/05/2026: We've been going to this restaurant for years. The sushi menus are very good, and now they also make bento boxes. The service is always excellent. Eat in or take away. We highly recommend this restaurant. Plus, there's a parking lot nearby, making parking easy.
