14/01/2026: This is what 76 euros looks like at Mavrommatis. I abandoned my tabbouleh at the checkout after seeing they were charging 19 euros for it (it's parsley, guys, it's literally a 1-euro bunch of parsley from Pro Intermarché with 2 grams of tomatoes, come on!). And sure, it tasted like heaven, okay, but this... No. It's MEDIOCRE! Run away if you don't want to blow your savings.

06/12/2024: I have come to the public house several times to have a drink with friends but this was the first time I came there to eat lunch. A very good experience, the service was fast, the meat of the day was very good and the rare cooking was perfect for a very reasonable price. The highlight in my eyes was the gourmet coffee which lives up to its name very well! The desserts were very good and plentiful, I recommend.

27/12/2025: We've been to this Burger King twice, and both times something was missing from our order, and once the wrong food was brought to us. Very disappointing.

22/09/2025: I don't know how this place has good reviews at all. My food was only warm(ish), and wasn't fresh. Fries the same. Table was dirty, service was unfriendly. I think the fries was mot the size I have ordered but as I don't speak french and at 7pm at night this was my first food I took all day I didn't complain.

03/12/2025: This is my second order. The hot sandwiches were hot as advertised, made to order (nothing pre-prepared). The selection is excellent, with a wide variety of options (hot or cold, different sandwich fillings, main dishes, and a large selection of desserts). The staff is polite, professional, and efficient. They accept restaurant vouchers. I highly recommend them.

03/02/2026: As regular and ardent supporters of the Cheneaudière, we unfortunately discovered the hotel's new policy and the mediocrity of the service now provided. We came for two days and two nights and dined at the Michelin-starred restaurant and the second restaurant, spending €1400. Admittedly, the facilities remain superb, and the staff are still excellent when they aren't overwhelmed by hordes of guests. And the Michelin-starred restaurant is even better than before. However, the hotel has multiplied its clientele between the hotel and the day spa, which they are developing extensively. The hotel and spa are overcrowded. The consequence for this price: forget the tranquility of a 5-star hotel, the peaceful lunch, and the attentive staff. You end up with a crowded municipal pool filled with day spa guests who have come to get their money's worth, rushing to the saunas, steam rooms, and buffets, while remaining in the jacuzzis. In short, you're not in a 5-star hotel, not even a 4-star. You received neither the service nor the rest you came for and paid for. We will not be returning because we were clearly ripped off. I hope this message will help others avoid our unfortunate experience.

03/02/2026: Previously, the Cheneaudière was all about luxury, tranquility, enchantment, and indulgence. Now, the setting and facilities remain sublime, but two worlds coexist. On one side, the hotel guests who come seeking the services of a 5-star establishment, peace and quiet, and on the other, the overcrowded crowds of day spa guests, in a hurry, seeking quantity to maximize their day's profitability. The facilities and buffets are besieged. You have to be constantly on your toes to have the chance to enjoy a jacuzzi or a sauna. Priority seems to be given to this new clientele. A change in policy or management? An excessive lure of profit? This is no longer a 5-star establishment. Paradoxically, while the spa is losing quality and its soul, the restaurant continues to improve, with a well-deserved first star and a path clearly towards a second. After reading the management's responses, new changing rooms will be created to better accommodate the increased number of day spa guests… but is that really the problem?! One thing is certain: this will not improve the quality of the residents' stay. We used to dream about our future stay here. Now we'll be looking for another little paradise. A special thought goes out to the staff, who were trained to excel and are now struggling with this new concept and must be completely lost. Hang in there. At least we won't be coming back.

20/02/2026: We had lunch using a "gourmet menu" gift certificate. The dishes were very good, made with high-quality ingredients. The accompanying drinks were excellent. Mr. Kalt doesn't skimp on quality. The service was excellent; kudos to the young woman who served us—she was very witty and elegant. We also appreciated being welcomed by Mr. Kalt. A very enjoyable experience.

14/02/2026: My partner and I went to this restaurant for Valentine's Day. The food was good, the welcome very warm, and we were treated to some Valentine's Day surprises. We highly recommend it!

22/12/2025: 45 minutes! That's how long it took us to decide to leave. We waited 45 minutes without ever having anything to eat or drink. There were two of us, and four other people arrived after us. They got menus and even an aperitif. I had to ask for the menu after 10 minutes... And yet the restaurant wasn't even full! When we left, the waitress barely recognized us. We left without ordering anything... I seriously advise against going there!
