After a very long wait to eat a total of 5 tarte flambées (3 hours for 5 tarte flambées and no dessert), after I complained, the owner came out of his kitchen making aggressive, insulting, and threatening remarks. Clearly, avoid this restaurant, despite its very good tarte flambée...

22/08/2026: I called at 9 PM on a Friday and they said they close at 10 PM on weekends! They couldn't even take an order (a pizza)! Change your hours then, or if you don't want to work, close down completely!

16/07/2026: We were refused a table for 6 people at 7 pm, even though there were plenty of unreserved tables available both inside and outside! Absolutely no customer service, no effort whatsoever, just the feeling that we were "bothering" them, to put it politely! It's true they had to move a table for 2 to the side to make a table for 6! Perhaps they were too tired to work in this heat! I've traveled all over Europe and this is the worst welcome I've ever received in a restaurant! Bravo for this excellent service!

03/07/2026: A lovely discovery on the road before arriving at La Chenaudière. Everything was perfect. If you're passing through Villé, don't hesitate, you won't regret it.

13/08/2026: A disaster from start to finish. Hygiene was appalling, and the food served was downright disgusting. The meat looked questionable, and no care was taken in the kitchen. It's shameful that this is served to customers. Avoid this place if you don't want to get sick. An insult to African cuisine… tiny portions and orders not respected…

23/06/2026: A happy and energetic place. Very tasty food, kosher and varied, with a dedicated staff, a bit of a heavy workload on the waiters during peak hours which causes a bit of a delay, but the wait is really worth it. Highly and happily recommended

08/08/2026: We waited 45 minutes for drinks and tarte flambée, only to receive a tart we hadn't ordered. Judge for yourselves. We took it anyway to start our meal... Otherwise, we've never been disappointed by the quality of these tarts. The price-quality ratio is good.

11/07/2026: We arrived at 8:30 PM, aperitifs were served at 9:20 PM and dinner at 10:15 PM. Luckily, we only ordered salads. The service was extremely slow, and there was no bread left to accompany our salads. I will avoid this restaurant in the future.

29/07/2026: I went around 5:30 pm it was empty I sat outside the person who showed me my table was extremely rude like he was going to pay for the food , the waiter was nice I asked after 5 mins if I can go inside because it was loud and IK the place inside is very nice , the manager said to the waiter tell her it’s as hot as outside and she can’t change her place ?!!! I actually should’ve cancelled the order because I’m not going to sit where the manager wishes these 2 actions were frustrating I couldn’t even enjoy my meal in peace

29/07/2026: A very pleasant atmosphere; the four of us sat on the first floor. The waiter was exceptionally friendly and very funny. The food was excellent; the butcher's cut as a main course was superb, as were the appetizer and dessert. Very good value for money.

16/06/2026: Incompetent! We are loyal customers, ordered a pizza for their 2+1 offer, one of the three was the wrong one. Avoid at all costs!
