15/10/2025: We had a delicious dinner here tonight. The owner was so kind and explained the menu to us, and the restaurant is cozy and nicely decorated. We were happy we chose this restaurant for dinner.

15/10/2025: After following Google Map instructions down a narrow, dimly lit alley we received "You have reached your destination" announcement at a doorway without a sign or light. Upon opening the door, we found ourselves in a hallway with another door. Not at all sure we were at a restaurant, we slowly opened that door and parted a heavy curtain to find a gem! The small restaurant was charming in every way and the service superb. The Alsacian menu was authentic and the food delicious, with a nice selection of wines from Alsace. The unexpected nature of the discovery made for a perfect last evening in Strasbourg. This was definitely a family run business. We did not have a reservation and were lucky to be seated immediately. We both ordered Choucroute Garnie and thought it was some of the best we have tried. Overall a fun experience. I would recommend it.

19/02/2026: I’m not a fan of McDonald’s in general, regardless of the location. The Illkirch branch is standard and functional, nothing particularly special. For me, it would honestly be better if it didn’t exist at all, but that’s just a personal preference regarding fast food.

02/11/2025: One star because we can't give less! Nothing is right: appalling service, pizzas that are truly subpar (either burnt or undercooked), disgusting salad, aggressive and unpleasant staff, extremely long wait times, etc. Keep walking, it's absolutely not worth your time.

12/12/2025: A €15 plate of tasteless meat and an expensive mini plate of fries. I went there between two hospital appointments, and I definitely don't recommend it.

20/12/2025: A very good quality restaurant, friendly and pleasant staff, traditional and Alsatian cuisine, fresh and generous products, a stop to make if you are passing through Lipsheim, easy parking, a big congratulations to the whole team of this Restaurant.

24/10/2025: What a shame. It used to be a great place for good tarte flambée and a great atmosphere. The tarts are now made of cardboard and too salty. The service is slow and unfriendly. It's a huge disappointment after so many years of excellence.

12/11/2025: The welcome from the owner wasn't great. The mayonnaise for the starter was store-bought. The meat was cold and too greasy. The owner spent the whole time yelling at her young employee and criticizing his every move. I felt embarrassed for him; she could have explained things to him discreetly instead of belittling him in front of the customers!

11/11/2025: Everything was great, from the welcome to the end of the meal. We had a lovely time. The all-you-can-eat mussels and fries were delicious, and we ate so well that we didn't have room for dessert! Too bad, we'll have to come back next time 😊

09/02/2026: Having been a customer since 2007, I changed bakeries, never received a commercial gesture even during the holiday season, I don't know the case with my new baker at least he offers a pastry or baguette.

08/02/2026: Breads and pastries always top-notch, as well as prepared meals to take away. Fast, friendly service, and above all, with a smile. Pleasant atmosphere.

10/07/2025: Disappointed. I had fond memories of this restaurant 20 years ago, but today, it's nothing like it. The setting is still very nice, especially the terrace by the Pont Vauban, but that's the only positive aspect. I had a Gamberoni pizza for €20.50: advertised with jumbo shrimp, you ended up with 5 or 6 basic, bland shrimp, a little arugula, two shavings of cheese... and that's it. The crust is okay, nothing special. Clearly not worth the price. It smells like a restaurant that's focused solely on its touristy location. Once, not twice.

07/02/2026: Disappointed by the value for money. The tarte flambée was bland, with a distinct impression of frozen ingredients. The fries also seemed frozen, which is a shame considering the menu states they are homemade. The meat was decent, nothing special. Overall, it's quite expensive for the quality offered. An experience below my expectations.

26/10/2025: Very welcoming, friendly, kind staff, in short, nothing to say. No waiting. Plenty of choice on the menu. It's so good, everyone come and eat here, and it's not expensive.

27/09/2025: Tried it for the first time last night and I was well received. The kebab on a plate was good. My friends ordered a kebab sandwich and a yufka, which was also well-garnished. After the meal, being alone in the restaurant, we were able to chat with the owner, a friendly person who knows his neighborhood and is easy to talk to.
