07/07/2024: Restaurant to avoid!!! Inside it smelled musty, we were all alone in the restaurant. The tartes flambées were not good, the cheese in the gratin was dripping and yellow, the mushrooms let's not talk about it, they had a very strange smell. The cans of Coke had expired since November 2023. The Vacherins look like tires. The boss was super rude to us, making excuses instead of making us worry. The only positive point are the two people who work there, super nice and do everything to make us satisfied.

11/08/2024: What can I say: really disappointed, not by the quality of the dishes served that we experienced, but by the lack of rigor in the management of reservations. We had reserved a Sunday lunchtime for 5 people, unfortunately when we arrived, the restaurant was deserted, neither waiter nor chef in the kitchen… It seems to me that a phone call or message to warn of the unexpected would have been the least we could do….

17/09/2024: Worst service around. Order placed at 6 p.m. for 6:45 p.m. and waiting an additional 30 minutes due to general lack of organization. No customer concerns and no excuses for the wait caused by the ambient chaos within the brand. I absolutely do not recommend.

18/09/2024: Sterile quiet room above gourmet restaurant The room and bathroom were very spacious, the beds were good. Our room faced the back and was therefore very quiet. The service was friendly. The breakfast was beautifully prepared. The bicycles could be safely stored in an annex. The room seemed somehow sterile, even though there was even a large picture hanging above the bed. The amount of breakfast was not appropriate for the price.

16/09/2024: The name of the restaurant "Au Gourmet" almost put us off, because other village restaurants in the Alsatian area have names like "Tonneau Fleurie" or "Restaurant A l'Agneau"... you can eat there rather easily (with a dog ) drive by for lunch on Saturday. The dining room also seems rather stiff and very quiet at first... But then we were extremely positively surprised by the high quality of the food, service and presentation at “Au Gourmet”. There was a very fairly priced, very tasty lunch menu - great recommendation for those looking for restaurants north of Strasbourg.
