There was a great atmosphere all morning! With all her tips, there's no chance of messing up our macarons! We'll definitely be back!

18/02/2026: While strolling through Paris, we stumbled upon this café-restaurant where we sampled exquisite pasta, incredible bread, and amazing cheese croquettes. The waiter was incredibly attentive; even without speaking French, he explained everything to us—super friendly! The place was spotless with a Parisian atmosphere. Great value for money. We'll be back soon!

03/03/2026: A wonderful discovery for us in a beautiful setting overlooking the pedestrian street from a slightly elevated vantage point. The meal was delicious from start to finish. The slice of calf's liver was very generous, perhaps too generous 😅 The service was impeccable. Our only regret was the waiter's mistake when taking our dessert order, but it didn't detract from our otherwise excellent experience. I highly recommend it.

07/03/2026: Friday evening meal. I won't go into details; this message is simply to inform the team of some issues with the meal. 1/ The prices are unbalanced compared to the quality; one expects better for the prices charged. 2/ The sea bream was served with soft skin (crispy skin or no skin at all). 3/ The pear clafoutis had a thin line of caramel and a thin line of bourbon vanilla custard (?), shameful for the price (70g to 80g max). 4/ The price change for the desserts was not mentioned when ordering or when the bill arrived; the explanation was clumsy when I pointed it out. The restaurant is beautiful; it's a shame to offer this level of cuisine, especially the desserts.

03/03/2026: There were three of us for dinner on a Monday night. It was very quiet. We regularly passed this restaurant during the lunchtime and it always looks busy. The service was good with friendly staff. The food was also good but will felt a little too expensive. We enjoyed the wine, selected with the help of a member of staff, but I found the wine list difficult to understand. Overall a nice evening.

15/02/2026: A DISASTER!!!! Valentine's Day evening completely ruined! €56 menu Amuse-bouche to share with a glass of Kir Royal Starter: Pan-fried shrimp Trou Normand (apple sorbet) 2 main courses of your choice Gourmet coffee Arrived at 8 pm, glass of Kir served at 8:50 pm, amuse-bouche served at 9 pm. Okay, we weren't in a hurry, but an hour for two pieces of foie gras on toast and two pieces of salmon on toast is excessive!!!! The starter arrived... one plate for two (it wasn't mentioned anywhere that the starter was to be shared) with six shrimp on it, meaning three shrimp each!!!!! Cold and undercooked (still a slightly slimy texture). A couple of his friends each got a plate of shrimp with the sauce being drained from the pan in front of everyone!!! I remind you, the menu was €56, and that didn't include wine. Meanwhile, the owner was just yelling and shouting that it was his last shift, that he was closing the restaurant, that he'd been to prison, that his wife had left him... He was completely out of it. His friend brought him back to the kitchen several times; the waitress was exasperated, the atmosphere was awful. Then came the "trou normand" (a small glass of Calvados served between courses) with disgusting vodka. I decided to leave the restaurant. As a resident of the town, I will never go back, and I will also go and tell him to his face what I think of his unacceptable behavior when he reopens. I'm giving it one star because you can't give zero.

30/12/2025: This is our second year in a row eating there; the food is delicious and the service is great overall. Highly recommended!

17/03/2026: A delightful culinary surprise in Maubeuge. The chef was incredibly attentive in the dining room! The atmosphere and cuisine were warm and welcoming (just like the chef).

08/03/2026: Pleasant service, high-quality, very tender beef, and a delicious morel sauce. The dessert selection was a bit limited, but my chocolate mousse was satisfactory. I recommend it!
