26/03/2026: The estate is in a secluded spot, away from prying eyes and roads. Very beautiful and intimate. The food is gourmet, with relatively generous portions (for a gourmet restaurant!), beautifully presented and delicious! The service is a little slow, which is the only drawback! I highly recommend it! It's been a long time since I've been so satisfied, from the amuse-bouche to the coffee!

24/03/2026: After 10 years of loyalty, I've finally decided to write this review, which, as you can imagine, can only be excellent. From the welcome to the cuisine and the ambiance, everything is perfect. The food is very flavorful, generous, and refined. Special mention for the St. Germain spritz, a wonderful discovery. 10/09/2026: Wonderful Chinese restaurant (specializing in northern Chinese cuisine, I believe), 100% halal and alcohol-free! Drawback: the restrooms are outside the restaurant and there's limited seating.

09/09/2026: Of all the restaurants we've tried in Paris, this is by far the best, especially for its value. The broths are very flavorful, the meat is tender (and halal). I recommend it 100%. I haven't heard many reviews about this place, which truly deserves more customers.

09/09/2026: Table reserved for a birthday. Upon arrival, the welcome was lukewarm. Three glasses of very average, not-so-chilled champagne, served in different wine glasses...no accompaniments (tapenade, peanuts, etc.). The starter, main course, and dessert were good; no birthday cake. As for the wine, the quality was far below the price!

28/09/2026: Nice location and staff - Unfortunately, the vegetarian burger wasn't a burger and it wasn't good. A burger (or hamburger) is a sandwich consisting of a round bun cut in half containing a cooked ground beef patty, usually topped with lettuce, cheese, tomatoes, and sauces. Main characteristics: The bun: A small, soft, round bun, often sprinkled with sesame seeds. The filling: A ground beef patty, but there are chicken, fish, or vegetarian options. The toppings: Often served with melted cheese, onions, pickles, ketchup, and mustard, accompanied by French fries.

27/08/2026: We arrived at 2 pm, the end of service, but they agreed to take us (5 people). The chef had run out of potatoes, so he made more. Beautifully presented dishes, pleasant staff, and the chef came to wish us bon appétit. The blue cheese sauce was excellent.

22/09/2026: We remember that evening at Au Trotthus with a certain affection—and at the same time with that quiet reserve that arises when an experience, while harmonious, wasn't entirely convincing. Days before, we had discovered the restaurant on a side street, almost hidden away, nearly at the end of the small alley. It was precisely this unassuming nature that immediately appealed to us, and we made a reservation without hesitation. On September 14, 2026, we received an exceptionally warm welcome and were allowed to choose the most beautiful table from the available ones. It had caught our eye the first time we walked by: right at the back, where the building's most massive beams radiate their centuries-old tranquility. A place with character, warm and inviting. The drinks arrived promptly, and we had ample time to put together our dinner. The restaurant serves traditional cuisine, so we opted for a true Alsatian evening. Maultaschen de Pois, Salade de Choucroute, and – a first for both of us – Parmentier d’effiloché de Bœuf d’Alsace. The crème brûlée for dessert was only manageable for my wife; my starter was practically a main course, and together with the main course, it was simply too much. The plates were attractively presented, the food solid, but generally rather under-seasoned, and overall too bland. The ambiance, on the other hand, was pleasant, the restaurant charming, and we felt comfortable. Ultimately, however, the lavish meal remained a rather harmless, somewhat bland experience – friendly, comfortable, but lacking that little spark that makes an evening truly unforgettable.

They also came for the wedding, and once again, everything was perfect. The atmosphere was cheerful, professional, and offered the perfect blend of family and hospitality. His availability beforehand to answer our questions, adapt to our wishes, and advise us, along with his kindness and professionalism, allowed us to have a wonderful time. His team was just as pleasant and efficient on the day itself. As for the food, we were delighted, and so were our guests!
