17/11/2024: We have been coming here on and off for about 14 years. They are only open at lunch time now. Came for several Sunday lunches this year. Be prepared to eat a lot. The menu is luxurious with several dishes centred around duck foie gras. All reared and made on site. Main courses are duck or beef (all reared and butchered on site). No vegetarian options. The quality of the food is excellent and service is charming and leisurely - this is France so allow at least 2 hours for lunch. For value for money go for the Menu Gauvry (€38.50) for which you get 4 courses, all generous portions, including up to two with generous amounts of foie gras and a main of duck breast or steak with chips (cooked in duck fat of course), shallots and salad. A chance to sample real French country cooking. Best to book for Sunday lunch as it's usually very busy. Highly recommended.

19/12/2024: Encore un très bon moment dans cet excellent restaurant. Cadre très agréable, service sympathique, plats originaux et belle présentation. C’est si bon qu’on aimerait bien sûr un plat principal un peu plus généreux, mais le rapport qualité-prix reste remarquable !

In the background, the basin, Le Pyla and its famous dune. Suffice it to say, a very nice situation. Menu or card. The grilled octopus and gravlax salmon has the proportions of a starter, nothing more. Otherwise it's fine, no complaints there. Very nice sole dish, prepared in front of me at the suggestion of the waitress. Furthermore talkative and very friendly. The entire staff is young and has an enthusiasm that is a pleasure to see. Half a bottle of Pessac-Léognan, appreciable. Quality restaurant. Cape Town Rates!

16/12/2024: Pleasant surprise! Discovered thanks to a smartbox box, the Fompeyre estate was on our way to Bordeaux. All the staff are very welcoming and caring. We enjoyed dinner and breakfast. PS: I recommend the Bazas beef. We will return with great pleasure.

16/12/2024: The area is very well located. The staff is very attentive. I particularly thank Isabelle for her kindness. The restaurant is delicious as is the breakfast buffet. Being from Toulouse, it’s very nice to have such a flexible establishment.

07/09/2024: Very good couscous to enjoy in a spacious and warm setting. Lots of choice, fast service and reasonable prices. Also suitable for children with a dedicated menu, fries or couscous + syrups + ice cream for €10. Generous quantity.
