15/03/2026: The place is cozy, simple, and tasteful. You feel comfortable as soon as you arrive. Not too many tables, so plenty of space between them—ah… a meal without the chatter of your neighbors! The welcome is warm and friendly; no stern-faced "Madame" here, just smiles and courtesy. As for the meal, we chose the set menu of starter, fish, meat, and dessert, but just reading the menu makes you want to come back. Served on beautiful plates, we were delighted to rediscover the true taste of food. Excellent ingredients are prepared right in front of you if you glance behind the counter. A touch of refined subtlety enhances the dish without overpowering it—it's perfect. At this price, the quality-to-price ratio is excellent. See you very soon!

27/04/2026: Rare are the moments I find perfect in their simplicity. Nothing more is needed: birdsong, good company, refreshing oysters with a bouquet of tender, plump shrimp. I thank the entire team, and especially the friendly waiter who answered all our questions with kindness and intelligence. The only negative point I can find is the lack of ice cubes to chill my glass of white wine, which was getting warm in the sun! And even then, was that really necessary? Thank you!

Last night, I finally decided to go in, and what a pleasant surprise: I absolutely loved it, both the food and the warm welcome. I'm still wondering why I didn't go sooner. Pollock and asparagus: innovative; don't change a thing! Veal rump: perfectly cooked, excellent sauce, yum, don't change a thing! Cheeses: mature, don't change a thing! Well, there has to be one sour note… the financiers were overcooked; the leek maki, original but good, not particularly flavorful; The wines: a delightful discovery with WinePepites. 13/04/2026: What a great place. Drove down to Arcachon from Saintes for oysters on Mon morning. Great jettied set up for the restaurants overlooking the lovely bay and we were early at 11.30am. Welcomed and oysters, gambas and pate were fabulous. Andy
