25/02/2026: Excellent restaurant! The food is delicious and plentiful. We were served quickly and with a smile. It's a pleasure to have such a good restaurant in our small villages. Very good value for money. A weekday lunch costs €18 for a starter, main course, and dessert; there's no à la carte menu, only a varied set menu.

13/02/2026: A great place to remember for a weekday lunch, whether with family or colleagues. All the dishes are prepared with fresh, seasonal ingredients, and all at a very reasonable price. A special menu featuring more elaborate and generous dishes is available on weekends. Excellent service!

09/03/2026: Unfortunately, our host wasn't in the mood today. A real shame, as our experience the previous week was very pleasant, this one was not. Yet, there weren't many of us braving the weather to reach the terrace of this cabin, which, fortunately, isn't alone in its domain.

11/03/2026: Tried it at lunchtime today and highly recommended! +++++ The service and welcome are fantastic; you really feel like you're at home. Everyone is attentive and caring, but always with a touch of humor that makes all the difference! As for the food, the butcher's cut, a hanger steak, was incredible, and the homemade fries and sauces were delicious.

14/03/2026: We enjoyed the "L'Escale" menu thanks to a Wonderbox gift voucher. The setting is very pleasant and the welcome was warm. I found the young "apprentice" waitress far more professional than some waiters in other restaurants: well done, miss! The timing of the meal service was perfect, and the attention to the customers was very pleasant. We ordered the salmon (delicious and beautifully presented), the foie gras, and the sweetbreads, which were also very good. I particularly appreciated the dessert plate included with the "café gourmand," which was very convenient. Just one small thing! I would have preferred a salt shaker with holes (a closed one). In conclusion, I recommend this restaurant and we will return.

15/02/2026: We had high expectations for this dinner, hoping the chef team would showcase their creativity with fresh, local ingredients. The service was good and the staff were friendly, but the food was a letdown. Most of the dishes were underwhelming—not terrible, but lacking the spark you’d expect from a restaurant of this caliber. The only standouts were the bread and the smoked tuna. The rest felt forgettable. The pork dish was especially disappointing: it didn’t taste good, the sauce was too salty, and the pork itself was tough and dry—fully cooked but not tender, with no clear flavor or concept behind it. It left us wondering what the restaurant was trying to highlight with this seasonal menu. In France, many places use local ingredients with excellent results. Unfortunately, L’Oiseau Bleu didn’t deliver that same level of thought or taste. Based on this experience, I wouldn’t recommend it. Dk why google took me review down.

07/03/2026: Passing through for the holidays, we arrived late in the evening and stopped there, not wanting McDonald's. And what a surprise! A real Japanese restaurant! Not one of those cheap Chinese buffet knock-offs. A proper menu, with dishes that only those in the know understand. What a culinary journey! Jasmine tea to accompany it, perfect. The music, even though it was Japanese rock, was a nice change and really not unpleasant. In short, a good time, a pleasant surprise.

Top-notch food and house cocktails, depending on your menu choices... very reasonable prices... We had a lovely evening at this establishment... We will gladly return with friends...
