19/09/2024: We were told takeaway Margarita would take 15 Minutes, it took 45 and in the end it was burned. Staff handled the situation poorly. Ambient looked nice though.

21/09/2024: C'était notre deuxième visite (visite imprévue, car nous devions déjeuner de l'autre côté du fleuve à Lamarque, mais nous avons manqué le bac...). Ne pas hésiter à demander à être installé en terrasse, car si le Cours Vauban est très circulé, le flot de voiture se tarit pendant le déjeuner. Foie gras maison remarquable et servi généreusement; idem pour le magret. Une mention particulière pour la morue "Blayaise", recette pleine d'invention et savoureuse. La carte des vins est fournie, et (fait rare en Gironde) fait la part belle à d'autres vignobles français ainsi qu'étrangers. Enfin, l'accueil et le service sont souriants et courtois.

04/12/2024: As soon as you enter you can see that the restaurant is not very clean, the food display cases are dirty and nauseating odors pass through your nostrils. The cooks' outfits are extremely dirty. As a result, doubt remains about the freshness and quality of the food. The sweets offered are in dirty bins and we are far from the quality of Haribo. In short, very very average, not great quality. The only positive point are the European servers who do their service well and are available.

28/11/2024: All you can eat buffet with plenty of choice, you just have to arrive early because on Saturday the desserts were finished quickly. Lots of choice. I recommend

10/09/2024: Great discovery on the beautiful Chartrons market square. A carefully decorated place in which you quickly feel at ease, perfect for a coffee, working or meeting up with friends. The pastries are truly delicious with a varied menu that changes regularly. We feel the quality of homemade. A nice drinks and tea menu is also available. The team is available, professional and warm, I strongly advise.

17/09/2024: 3rd time that I have eaten at their place with colleagues (twice for lunch and once in the evening) and never disappointed. The setting is really nice and the food is very good and very nicely presented. At lunchtime you have the opportunity to take a little digestive walk in nature! Thank you! 👌

12/12/2024: Chef's burger for 19 euros, served with salad only. Fries are extra. Argument: there's a rosti in the burger 🤡. Ashamed.

27/09/2024: We like this restaurant which, although part of a chain, offers a nice menu in terms of choice, quality and above all price. We do not recommend the carbonaras because the cream is too liquid and the bacon replaced by strips of pancetta, however the vegetables are excellent, the ravioli very pleasant and the penne with chicken and pesto excellent. A nice place before or after the cinema to discover if you haven't had the chance yet. Note three menus with very affordable prices and dishes that change regularly. The pizzes are good, with a slightly thick and soft dough as I like them. As for an aperitif, I like their aperitif Spritz, but I don't like their Mojito with prosecco. Time and years pass but we still love this restaurant just as much. The staff is very pleasant and the atmosphere warm.

13/10/2024: The waiter speaks in a tone that is far from friendly! We wait on the table not cleared with the previous customers' order, and we understand that we have to go to the bar directly to order and nothing has been clarified to us. And, the table was never cleared all the way, in the meantime he had time to see it. In short, do you want to have a nice time? It's not here

12/09/2024: Having been a regular at this restaurant for over 10 years, I have noticed a collapse in quality and service. We were served by a waiter who had consumed certain substances which were clearly visible to all, forgotten orders and incoherent speech. My dish was garnished with hair from a waiter or cook, we asked for bread that was stale, the waiter replaced it with bread from the day before put in the oven. Finally, after complaining about all this, this same server offered us a 10% discount noted on the receipt but made me pay the full amount without the discount. Thanks to my partner who noticed it when leaving the restaurant, I went back and this same waiter continued to have an incoherent and unprofessional speech and he struggled to refund the money in cash. Finally, all of the restaurant's customers did not smile and all seemed doubtful and observing the waiters who were more than incompetent and having worked in the restaurant business, I can recognize people who were not in their normal states. This restaurant is an emblem of Bordeaux and deserves better than that, both in terms of food and service. A disappointed customer.

12/09/2024: I have been frequenting this restaurant for over 10 years and have unfortunately noticed a significant decline in quality and service. We encountered several problems: forgotten orders and difficult communication with a server. My dish had hair in it, and the bread we ordered was stale. When we asked for a replacement, the new bread appeared to have simply been reheated. After expressing my dissatisfaction, a 10% discount was offered, but it was not applied at checkout. Fortunately, my partner noticed this, and we were able to correct it after leaving the restaurant. The staff seemed unprofessional and unorganized, which clearly impacted the overall experience. It’s a shame, because this restaurant, which is an institution in Bordeaux, deserves better, both in terms of food and service. A disappointed customer.
