22/05/2026: I came last night around 10:50 PM and waited 20 minutes at the drive-thru. There were three cars waiting, an AI system spoke to us to scan our loyalty code, and then we waited, telling us someone would come to take our order. I had to go inside McDonald's to ask the other customers to come and take our order. There were no gestures of goodwill, no apologies, nothing. Very disappointed. When McDonald's is busy, I understand they're overwhelmed... but when I went inside, there were only two people waiting for their orders, so no apologies.

20/05/2026: Drive-thru at 5:50 PM for ice cream and a drink. The attendant put us on hold for 10 minutes even though there wasn't a soul around. Another car pulled up to the next lane after those 10 minutes and was served before us. I walked up to the window and saw two people (probably on a coffee break). So we went to Burger King. That's it for them. What will happen during rush hour? immediately.

16/05/2026: Zero stars. The bar is unwelcoming, not very cheerful or friendly, not pleasant at all. Frankly, I strongly advise against this bar.

03/04/2026: We came for a drink and felt like we were bothering them. I thought it was just our table (for no apparent reason), but reading other reviews, they simply don't seem to enjoy serving customers, and it shows. It's a shame because you come here to have a good time, but there are no glances and certainly no smiles; the place is anything but welcoming and friendly. Nevertheless, the cocktails were good and reasonably priced.

03/05/2026: The negative reviews led me to choose a basic dish: rare ribeye steak with fries, salad, and Roquefort sauce. And it was actually quite good—quality meat, perfectly cooked, homemade fries, and a delicious Roquefort sauce. No complaints whatsoever. The average rating of 3.8 doesn't reflect our experience.

27/05/2026: No problems with the booking or check-in. Regarding our room (triple), the bathroom/toilet was open to the bedroom (the wall didn't reach the ceiling), which was rather inconvenient. Cleanliness was fine. The room is very old with an uneven floor and poor insulation (the double glazing was very good). The air conditioning was perfect. Breakfast was good.

16/03/2026: The good: Pleasant welcome. Clean room and bathroom. The bad: Firm bed. Very noisy hotel; the walls are thin. You can hear the sounds of stairs and doors as if there were no soundproofing, and conversations in the hallways. I had the misfortune of having three people in the next room who were talking very loudly, whether it was 6 p.m. or when they returned from a night out at 2:30 a.m. I could hear everything, from conversations to snoring… not to mention the traffic noise. The price being reasonable, I wasn't expecting luxury, but at least a minimum: the ability to sleep… I booked this room to break up the journey, as I was pregnant and making a long trip for family reasons. I was hoping to get some rest, but instead, I had a sleepless night and left first thing the next morning 😅

26/09/2025: Good value for money, depending on the historical site of course. Excellent daily special and tasty dessert. All for €25. You won't find anything cheaper in Saint-Émilion.

12/01/2026: Absolutely the best pizzeria in the area; anyone who says otherwise doesn't know what they're talking about. No complaints, perfect service.

29/11/2025: It's a real shame because it's one of the only pizzerias that delivers in the area! We've been giving them a chance once a year for the past four years, and we're really, really disappointed. Barely cooked, tasteless five-cheese pizzas (that's the last straw!), really low-quality ingredients for the same price as a good pizza! Even the pizza vending machine is better. Avoid at all costs.

13/12/2025: How to put it? Groups were seated before us while we were waiting. The chorizo ​​risotto wasn't really risotto, just rice. The tablecloth was dirty. The servers were barely pleasant, except for one very cute young woman. In short, a mediocre experience.

13/12/2025: We came to eat on a Saturday and were surprised by the reviews. The staff was very friendly, and the food and drinks were good value for money for a restaurant in Bordeaux. Furthermore, we didn't have to wait very long between our aperitifs and our main courses.

15/12/2025: Fantastic hotel, ideally located on the northern outskirts of Bordeaux and close to the motorway. A great stopover for those traveling along the Atlantic coast when you're feeling tired. In the countryside, far from the usual hotel chains, you'll receive a warm welcome and can enjoy an exceptional dinner with thoughtful presentation and special touches. Highly recommended.

24/05/2026: In May, there were few people, and on this Friday evening, the eve of Pentecost, there was no one at all. We had a small view of the port, a bit distant. The owner (if she was the owner) gave us a very pleasant welcome, and the service was satisfactory. The vegetarian salad was very generous and delicious. The curried mussels were also good. The ice cream was good. The price was reasonable.

14/04/2026: The service was decent, the atmosphere was okay despite the fact that we couldn't choose where to sit (there was no one there), but most importantly, I ordered mussels in curry sauce and the result was: I vomited twice that same evening, got food poisoning, and had a stomach ache for three days. I don't understand it because my friend who ordered mussels in cream sauce was fine, and I'm not intolerant or allergic.

15/04/2026: I agree with the recent reviews. It's true, the people in charge aren't the same (even though they were annoyed by my question, saying we weren't the only ones to point it out). Anyway... that's not really the issue. The problem is the quality of the food. I was very, very disappointed with our last visit. They used to be the best pizzas in the area. What a letdown! The ingredients are nothing like they used to be. They were generous, fresh, and the dough was excellent. This time, we got bland pizzas with few toppings, and the merguez sausage and chorizo ​​on the other pizza weren't exactly fresh either. Plus, they were lukewarm; they must have been sitting around for a while, even though I clearly gave them our arrival time. We won't be going back.
