05/09/2024: We were here in the middle of the week after the end of France. Summer vacation. The restaurant is in the idyllic Port de Talais in one of the typical small houses. The menu of dishes is manageable but good and the name of the restaurant says it all. Duck. The food was very tasty and well prepared and the landlady was very nice and friendly. The prices are absolutely reasonable for the menu and the drinks. It should be mentioned that there are only beer tent tables and benches to sit in the restaurant. It was totally ok for us, but it might not be for everyone. Definitely a clear recommendation from us, we will come here again.

Nous y sommes d'ailleurs retourné plusieurs fois.
Je commande aussi à emporter et je n'ai jamais été déçue.

29/08/2024: Passing through Bordeaux to discover this "Bordeaux Lac" golf course, it is the first time in our lives that a golf bar, after having drunk the coffee (for a fee) the bartender (or manager of the bar) refuses us to refill a water bottle for the course!
Well done Mr. Barman, we went after our drinking and eating party in town and this introduced us to a charming and pleasant restaurant "Chez les Ploucs" which we recommend. In fact we thank you for your contemptuous attitude.
14/08/2024: Very good for dining before or after a round of golf with very warm and friendly staff. Also very good for a professional or personal lunch.

29/09/2024: We ordered croquettes and a couple drinks. The service was great and the food was cooked well. We liked the sauce that was served with the croquettes. Le Riva had a good selection of beers and cocktails, although their selection of ciders was limited. Definitely recommend.
26/09/2024: Very unpleasant welcome from the (young) boss, she annoys everyone and the word is weak, it's a disaster TO FEE! And to think that I was a loyal customer!!! She doesn't like reservations of 8 people! dear consumers like me walk a little further and you have the Makila and the Trattoria (or the maritime café) with the same view of the Chaban bridge and much nicer teams

The cocktails are good!
The meat formula is great and at a fair price
Small downside for the starters, notably the egg casserole which was a hard-boiled egg and the foie gras, I'm still looking for it
Otherwise apart from that I recommend

28/10/2024: Au service les lasagnes ne sont pas très appétissantes et au goût effectivement pas cuites (molles sans croûte et baignent dans une béchamel tiède) Il est 12h donc c’est calme.
Mais bon on etait là avec un verre de vin on les a mangé en partie!!
2x 18€ la part = Indigeste 2 fois..

17/09/2024: The waiter was very friendly, the place on the terrace, impeccable....however very disappointed with the menu of the day! Chistorra....2 sausages with 2 potatoes for main course + crumble for dessert for €19.90...heavy price for what's on the plate!

A menu for 17 euros including:
> Buffet of 10 different starters
> Six dishes to choose from (hake, filet mignon, etc.) + homemade fries, gratin, etc.
> Six desserts to choose from (cheese cake, éclair, etc.)
Very good sirloin and paupiettes. Delicious homemade fries.
And the coffee is delicious.
