30/07/2026: A lovely spot to sip a drink overlooking the lake with the sunset in the light. We chose to stay for dinner; the mixed platter was very good and generous, and their homemade fries make all the difference. Despite the friendly staff, we weren't keen on the concept of ordering at the bar, bringing the drinks back to the table, and then getting up again to order at the bar. The tables and chairs on the terrace also needed cleaning, as they had ice cream marks left by previous guests. There wasn't enough cutlery and napkins for eating... despite these minor details. We'll definitely come back for a relaxing time, as it's still a pleasant place.

20/09/2026: My mother and I ate lunch there every day for a week, and it was absolutely fantastic. It was definitely worth the money; the food was delicious, the staff were lovely, and the view of the harbor was a nice bonus. Thanks again for a wonderful week.

29/08/2026: Meh, what can I say? We left after eating mussels and waffles and we were still hungry. The mussels were good, but the waffles... we're still looking for the chocolate. Otherwise, very expensive for what we got. So, to sum it up, I'd say go somewhere else next door.

05/09/2026: The food was good, but the service was completely lacking. A little note to the long-haired cook: learn to be pleasant to customers, regardless of your mood; we have nothing to do with your annoyance. It was good, but never again. What a shame.

29/08/2026: I really looked forward to eating here. It looks busy, so it must be good, right? No. The guys working in the kitchen were swamped and didn't look like they knew what they where doing. There was also inconsistent glove use too. The till operator was handling cash and then handling food. That's not great. They got my order wrong twice too. They offered free crisps to say sorry, but these were bitter as they were over cooked. I ordered Cassolette Jambon and ended up with breaded fried chicken casolette. The chicken was good but the potatoes were soggy and warm. Duck Quesadillas were very good. I would choose other stalls over Gastroteka. This cost €31.50 and was a waste of money. Maybe 2 stars is too generous... I was really looking forward to eating here. The place seemed very busy, so it must be good, right? Well, no. The kitchen team was overwhelmed and did not seem to have mastered their subject. The use of gloves was also questionable: the cashier handled cash and then touched the food. It wasn't great. They also got my order wrong twice. They offered me chips as an apology, but they tasted bitter because they were overcooked. I had ordered a ham casserole and ended up with a breaded fried chicken casserole. The chicken was good, but the potatoes were limp and lukewarm. The duck quesadillas were very good. I would choose other food stalls rather than Gastroteka. The bill came to €31.50, which is a waste of money. Two stars is perhaps a bit generous...

28/08/2026: I often come to buy cigarettes during the day and I'm allowed to pay with my credit card. I came at night for once and they told me no, and the seller made me pay in cash instead of offering me a lighter or a pack of chewing gum. As a result, I paid a little over €16 instead of €12, for example. It's a disgrace!

16/08/2026: I went there on Sunday the 16th. The guy at the till was disrespectful, gave me dirty looks. Truly one of the worst tobacco shops I've ever been to.

10/09/2026: A very bad experience. We were with children and waited in vain for someone to seat us on the terrace, even though the waitress was standing in the middle. So, we decided to move to the side to get away from the music, which was quite loud that evening, and moved two tables that were close together. The waitress arrived without even a greeting or the slightest politeness, with an extremely curt attitude, telling us that if the tables were there, it was for a reason and that we shouldn't move them. We thanked her for her "kindness" and left. Such a rude welcome is unacceptable. We will not be returning!

05/09/2026: Very disappointed. Barely a hello, no other communication, not a smile. We waited longer than the advertised time. The food was cold (soup, rice, skewers…), and there was no presentation whatsoever. The sushi and maki were terrible; they didn't hold their shape… Avoid at all costs!!!

28/08/2026: The service was absolutely terrible. I specified "no meat" on the Too Good To Go app, a simple thing to do, and they still gave me pork. When I pointed it out, they responded with a rather dismissive "we don't choose here," without giving a second thought to the fact that it went against my principles. The worst part is that it would have taken two seconds to exchange the basket or give me a refund, but no, no effort, no respect. I'm truly disgusted that people are treated like this when it's just a matter of common sense and basic respect. I definitely don't recommend it if you have dietary principles to uphold; they don't care at all here, you just have to go along with what they decide. Oh yeah, and all that for 7 euros for pork and cucumbers!

30/09/2026: What a delightful discovery this young Enzo was, whose friendliness seemed to have been carefully left at the door last Friday. I have rarely encountered a waiter so quick to confuse service with condescension, courtesy with insolence. I must emphasize this truly remarkable feat (it's unheard of…): managing to make a simple order as unpleasant as an audience with a grumpy bailiff. We would have gladly attributed his behavior to an off day, but unfortunately, he seemed to be playing his part very well. Special mention, however, for his remarkable talent at making us regret having come: a quality rarely found in the restaurant industry. In short, I would like to add a memorable experience, not for the food, which is enough to keep a star, but for the extraordinary demonstration of what can be accomplished with so little politeness and so much self-assurance. Bravo Enzo, you've elevated insolence to the level of performing arts; you're clearly not cut out for the restaurant business but for the theatre. Good luck!

12/07/2026: We're regulars at this place, but for the first time we were very disappointed. The fries were cold and reheated, the bread roll was stale, and the meat was tough. We'll hesitate to come back.

24/09/2026: We had a very good meal at the Flunch in Mérignac. The staff were very friendly, polite, and attentive. The meal was very good and excellent value for money.

24/09/2026: My train was cancelled, so I went to the Terminus and asked for a breakfast option. As soon as I arrived, the waiter brushed me off, and the welcome was just as unpleasant when they took my order. The fruit juice and coffee were standard, the croissant was frozen, and the bread was barely acceptable. The most regrettable aspect, however, was the waiter's attitude. He was absolutely appalling not only to me, but also to at least three other tables during my stay. Such an unpleasant waiter certainly doesn't help to create a good impression of the establishment. The quality of the welcome and service represents a large part of the customer experience, and unfortunately, this one was particularly bad.

20/09/2026: I just arrived in Bordeaux, I sat down on the terrace of the terminus brasserie, I had a coffee and an orange juice, I paid in cash, another waiter came and asked me if I had ordered, I took it very badly being the only foreigner sitting there, I called out to his colleague the one who served me so that he would tell him that I had indeed ordered and paid, what is this kind of attitude about.

29/08/2026: We ordered 6 pizzas for 6 people and the unanimous opinion was that they were really bad. One person was even sick the next day. They used to be very good, but it's changed drastically; we won't be going back!

14/07/2026: We come every holiday and honestly, the pizzas are fantastic and very affordable. They are incredibly helpful and friendly. There's hardly any wait.

18/09/2026: We placed our order and two hours later, we still haven't received anything and there's been no response from the restaurant. What's the point of staying open if you're going to treat customers like this?

06/09/2026: The pizzas always arrive at least 45 minutes late. And the pizzas aren't the ones I ordered. The egg is missing from the Divine pizza. I don't understand.

21/09/2026: Ouch, it seems the owner has changed and that amateurs unfamiliar with the etiquette of such an industry have been put in charge of service. A waitress who walked right past us three times without even acknowledging us (while we were sitting on the terrace) served people who arrived after us and smoked a cigarette while chatting with her friends at the table right next to us... perhaps my friend's skin was too dark or she simply didn't like the look of me? We wondered... finally, a pleasant young man took care of us, except that my friend's Kir Royal arrived with barely any blackcurrant liqueur at the bottom, no bubbles (he explained that it was the last of the bottle, that they were out of champagne but that it should be fine... that he would come back later with champagne... strange). As for my rosé, it was flat. The young man never came back with the champagne. When we went to the bar, the young woman suddenly noticed us and tried to ring us up. I asked to speak to the young man, but she didn't understand, so I insisted that he ring us up. He came over and asked if everything was alright... when I explained that the kir wasn't royal and the rosé was flat, and I'd barely touched the glass, he told us that no, everything hadn't gone well. We simply wanted to enjoy a drink, and both were undrinkable—unbelievable in an establishment that specializes in that. Being a good sport, he decided not to charge us for the rosé: I hadn't drunk it, thank goodness. Without any shame, he rang up my friend's so-called kir. It would have been more professional to offer something else when they ran out of champagne and, above all, to come back and check on us. It was impossible to get hold of a waiter...

18/08/2026: They're ripping off customers and not listing the coffees on the menu because the staff wants tips. I've given all the information to the URSSAF (French social security agency); I'm sure they'll laugh to see such rude and unclean waiters who dare to tip themselves without your permission or even telling you, and who change drink prices as they please. Have a good day, and steer clear.
