01/08/2026: What a fantastic restaurant! 😊 After our arrival, we unfortunately couldn't start looking for a restaurant until relatively late (9 pm), but that shouldn't be a problem. Or so we thought... But far from it, everything was closed, and there wasn't a soul around. Luckily, we stumbled upon this unassuming establishment 🥳 Unlike almost all other restaurants, this one actually has proper opening hours, and it's even possible to eat a little later. The staff was incredibly friendly, and we were able to easily order our pizzas without ham. There are also several vegetarian options available 🤩 We finally got to enjoy an excellent tarte flambée, which was even better than in the restaurants in the old town 🤤 The Turkish dishes are also highly recommended 🔝 It was here that we first discovered the wonderful dish Karniyarik outside of Istanbul 😊 The terrace is absolutely fantastic, cozy, and peaceful 🙏 And thankfully, there was no football on 💪 We managed relatively well with my French skills, but English was also no problem 👍 One of the staff members was so happy to see us that he kept waving enthusiastically whenever we returned 😅 Truly warm and welcoming people who make really good food and try to accommodate all requests 😇 Thank you for being our restaurant base during our Alsace vacation 🙏

A cozy, beautifully decorated spot that perfectly complements the high-quality dishes, both in terms of taste and the originality of the flavors. The menu is regularly updated according to the seasons and the chef's creativity. The service is courteous, friendly, and helpful.

08/08/2026: Absolutely delicious paella, I think it's the best in the area. Go for it without hesitation, you can't go wrong.

22/08/2026: We come from Ghent, which has many similar establishments. The wines were excellent! The portions were perfect, but the dishes could be a bit more adventurous.

22/08/2026: The selection of progressive wines is absolutely top-notch – and fairly priced, too. The service was quick, extremely friendly, and very knowledgeable about wine. We received excellent advice. We also found the outdoor area very pleasant. However, what didn't quite convince us was the food. The concept of small dishes that can be shared is good in itself, as it allows you to try many different things. We also appreciated the rather minimalist approach, which avoids unnecessary frills and instead focuses on product quality. Individual dishes, like the cured salmon, were outstanding, but some – for example, the pickled beef – seemed a bit uninspired and lacked care. In conclusion: For us, a wonderful place to enjoy exceptional wines when the food is less important. Addendum: In light of Romain's reaction, I would like to emphasize again that we were not served anything here that gave us any real cause for complaint. I had already tried to present this in a nuanced way. The 3 stars I gave the food overall aren't a bad rating in my opinion. 5 stars mean something like "truly outstanding" to me, 4 stars = very good, 3 stars = still good, but with some limitations. Overall, I would have liked to give the kitchen 3.5 stars – because we did find some of the dishes very good – but that's not possible. I hope my rating is a bit clearer now.

19/08/2026: We are regulars at this charming restaurant, the owners are very welcoming and warm and you can enjoy a delicious meal without having a huge budget, recommendation x1000.

20/04/2026: Meh, I think it's changed owners. It's impossible to order online, plus the menu has changed and it's not great. No shrimp stew, no stir-fried noodles like before. A bit disappointed.

07/08/2026: We had a perfect meal sitting outside by the canal. It's worth waiting a bit for a table. Come in the early afternoon, but be sure to check the kitchen's opening hours! The tarte flambée was fantastic. Friendly service.

19/05/2026: The restaurant is nice and decorated in an Alsatian style. The menu offers a selection of Alsatian cuisine. The food is typical of good Alsatian cuisine, and the portions are average. The price-performance ratio is poor and the prices are far too high for this price range. Even if the restaurant tries to present itself as more sophisticated, it remains a down-to-earth restaurant with exorbitant prices. Looking for alternatives in the area is definitely worthwhile!

03/05/2026: After visiting Haut-Koenigsbourg Castle, we came to eat at this restaurant. The welcome was very pleasant. The sauerkraut was perfect. The dessert was to die for. A very good restaurant, highly recommended.

05/08/2026: Present on the FAV professionally. I found this establishment, which doesn't look like much from the outside. Parking is tricky but not impossible. Superb welcome, quick order taking, and very responsive staff. Tasty and generous portions. Thank you all.
