21/08/2024: We ate with our daughter during our vacation in the Vosges and we were won over by the cuisine and the family atmosphere of the place. The cuisine is really very good! Excellent even! If we have the opportunity to return to the area, we will visit again without hesitation!

16/09/2024: The restaurant has recently been completely and beautifully renovated. I like to go there for the dish of the day, economical and always excellent. Today, pumpkin soup, roast chicken, accompanied by fries and a salad, blueberry pie. A good beer well drawn on that. All for less than €20. The new decoration is pleasant and the atmosphere rather cozy despite the room being almost full. Terrace overlooking the Ill. Impeccable disabled toilets, with changing table, on the ground floor. Easy disabled access. I can only recommend it, because in addition to the dish of the day, the house offers a beautiful menu. Note: Paul Haeberlin considered the place his canteen when the Auberge de l’Ill, opposite, was closed. As I understand it. (In catering, I reserve 5 stars for gourmet restaurants... if they deserve them. When I see fatty kebabs with 5* I tell myself that we don't all have the same taste buds. Mine are fine, thank you).

14/09/2024: A great discovery, well-mastered freshwater fish dishes, beautiful room overlooking the Ill Special mention for the lady who served our table upstairs, a very attentive, discreet and pleasant person.

19/09/2024: Quality service, and very pleasant. The restaurant at the right corner was recommended to us for its culinary quality. We were right to book to appreciate the quality of its traditional cuisine. Very nice friendly environment. The wine list is very diverse and of high quality. Very appreciable value for money. This is an address to remember when you are close to Wintzenheim. We recommend this address.

01/09/2024: Cozy restaurant that is a bit hidden. Food is good; but sometimes just lacks some finesse. However, in relation to the price it is unimaginable. Huge wine list! And you can enjoy a wonderful evening out here. Service warm and extremely good! Recommended!

20/09/2024: Je suis revenue avec mon mari après avoir connu lors d’un déjeuner d’affaire . C’est excellent, le prix plus que correct vu la cuisine et le service . On se sent chouchouter et la sélection de vin est splendide ainsi que les plats copieux et fins . Un note pour le sommelier Alexandre qui est à pu nous conseiller et toujours avec le sourire . Vous pouvez y aller les yeux fermés .

06/09/2024: We had initially booked on the “bistronomy” side. When we arrived, the manager told us that the “bistro” side was closed without further explanation. We asked one of the waiters if it was possible to sit on the “bistro” side, and we were told that it could be done. However, the room manager told us quite bluntly that this was not possible. We left again. Not recommended

02/09/2024: Great discovery, the dishes are very generous and the staff are friendly. The setting was good, especially sitting on the terrace by the water.

25/08/2024: I dreamed of visiting Bartholdi for a few months. When I go to the restaurant of this range I would like to spend time in the atmosphere of classic France, motherland of courtesy and the art of cooking. What do I find? Nice table. Thank you so much. And that's it. The people who work in the restaurant are not welcoming or smiling. With such a facial expression we don't ask what do you want to order? I ordered the salad with seafood. Only 30 euros left to find on my plate 3 large shrimps, 2 small ones, a few S.Jaqcues shells and carrot with standard remoulade on a cushion of green salad. Is this a joke? 33 euro salad? At this price we expect a touch of creativity from the chef, remoulade with carrot I eat at home. My husband ordered an escalope. I tasted a small piece. Tastes like Picardy escalope. The plate was decorated with pieces of carrot and pepper. I made a similar decoration when I was 5 years old. It was so disappointing that we didn't even order dessert. Shame for my adorable city and for the restaurant which normally must be the guardian of the best classic French traditions of service.

22/08/2024: Very good experience. Very quiet and pleasant terrace. Very refined meal and impeccable service, I recommend. I liked the ´bartholdi´ menu
