19/08/2026: I chose this restaurant at random; I just wanted sauerkraut, of course, in Colmar. The sauerkraut was okay, but nothing special. My wife's dish was also decent, but where it really fell apart was the children's menu. For €12.50, my 10-year-old daughter got watery syrup, really bad nuggets (they were pre-chewed, not real pieces of chicken), a small portion of fries, and a tiny plastic-wrapped applesauce that we had to ask for three times. So, in the end, it did the job of filling her stomach, but that's all. All that for €75, including a beer and a glass of wine, is outrageous.

29/07/2026: We were looking for lebanese food in Colmar, we stumbled upon this place which was purely syrian food restaurant. Food was okay but the service was incredibly poor. One man running the whole show and quite frankly was a bit rude. I went to grab some salt myself after we asked for it twice and the food was there for 10 mins and getting already cold, only to be told that I should have some patience and that I am not the only customer there. Very rude indeed.

31/05/2026: We stayed here for 1 night on our way to Italy. The car could charge overnight (book in advance). We also booked dinner in advance and had a delicious meal. Breakfast is also well catered for. We had the standard room 5 times; it was very clean and had nice new bathrooms.

21/07/2026: Hello We made a quick stop at Philippe's today, and let's just say we don't plan on returning. While the welcome from a young man was quite pleasant, an older waitress became rather unpleasant after we asked two questions. The first was: what does "IRL" mean next to "steak haché" (minced steak), and the second was about the possibility of removing the tomato from the burger due to an allergy. Her response was somewhat aggressive. Although it was extremely busy, I think a minimum of courtesy and politeness is necessary. As for the food, we ordered a warm goat cheese salad, which was swimming in sauce (tasting of water, not vinaigrette) with an excessive amount of garlic. The only positive point was the warm goat cheese toast (but it was cold...). The dessert was good nonetheless... but it didn't redeem the meal.

10/06/2026: Good traditional Alsatian cuisine. Attentive service. I really enjoyed the sauerkraut. Be aware of the smell in the entrance coming from the downstairs restrooms. Perhaps a door would be helpful?

05/06/2026: Very nice and friendly, but slightly old hotel, the room was decent, with a brand new toilet. The reception was super kind and helpful, the localisation perfect just next to the old centre. A super nice surprise for us was the great hotel restaurant, which was really crowded in the evening both by hotel guests and people from the outside. The breakfast was tasty, rich and made of quality products. Fully recommend 😊

18/08/2026: Never finished! First, they messed up the order and I ended up with a pizza I didn't order. It arrived at 6 PM, the meat was dry and tasteless, the crispy bread was too dirty, and the chicken drumsticks had a strange aftertaste. Frankly, I was disappointed.

28/07/2026: Good evening, I'm writing to leave a review because this restaurant is disastrous. I'll never set foot or eat there again. I ordered two large Indian pizzas without mushrooms, and I received one large and one medium pizza with mushrooms. To top it off, my stomach and my friend Rayenne's are on fire.

15/01/2026: Excellent experience at Hoto. Passing through Mulhouse, I was looking for a quick bite. I definitely don't regret going to Hoto. Very friendly welcome, a wide selection of dishes, and excellent food. I'll be back on my next trip to Mulhouse.

03/01/2026: We made a last-minute reservation and got a table. We received a very warm welcome, the service was excellent and well-paced, and the owner had a friendly, witty remark and a genuine desire for quality. We ordered two set menus: starter, main course, and dessert, including gratinated scallops, sauerkraut, and trout, followed by a sorbet with a generous splash of liqueur and a chestnut tart. The large dining room was beautifully decorated with ample space between the tables, creating a wonderfully intimate atmosphere. We have no regrets and will definitely return, especially since the menu changes regularly!

05/08/2026: We stopped for a coffee and breakfast. Excellent, as was the apple streusel yogurt cake, which was absolutely delicious. Add to that a warm welcome and you have a wonderful time.

23/06/2026: The working waiter was very angry. We told him to take the empty glass. I have a lot of work, he said something like you are sitting. Then I went to ask for a product, it went wrong with me again. I stopped saying anything. The tea is also terrible

20/07/2026: Tarte flambée is similar to pizza but with a very thin crust that isn't filling. After we each ate one, we had to order another pizza to satisfy our hunger.

15/07/2026: A group of 12 of us ate there and it was excellent. The meat was delicious, both in quantity and quality. The service was very good and fast. Good value for money. The pizzas were also good. The place has a charming atmosphere.
