23/06/2026: The service left much to be desired. I waited ages for my starter while a customer who arrived after me was already starting their main course. The young waitress was incredibly rude, and the German owner was clearly on edge. She got angry when I told her I was leaving without eating. Oh, and I paid for my drink: €4.90 for a Perrier with lemon! I do not recommend this restaurant; it really needs to rethink its approach.

19/06/2026: I discovered this restaurant yesterday, and frankly, it was a great find. I had a lovely time; the food was excellent, and the service was impeccable. In short, go for it!

24/04/2026: A wonderful romantic experience. Authentic setting, clean room, and excellent breakfast and restaurant.

13/04/2026: A very nice establishment. The staff are attentive and responsive. The half-board option is excellent value for money.

02/06/2026: A really nice café. I used to go there occasionally to work from home in the mornings. I particularly enjoyed the freshly squeezed orange juice and the quality of the pastries. For lunch, I recommend the Thai salad, the Bo Bun, or the salmon carpaccio.

01/06/2026: We have somewhat mixed feelings about our visit. Let's start with the positives: the children's meal was more than satisfactory value for money, and the servers were friendly. As for the rest, we must not have gone on the right day: the meat and spring rolls in the bo bun were overcooked, and the Thai tartare was a bit bland (I was expecting more flavor). Nevertheless, I think we'll go back, and I'll take the opportunity to update my review.

14/06/2026: Friendly terrace and staff very close to the cathedral; the sauerkraut was good, the sirloin steak less so (too thick and tough despite being cooked well). Reasonable prices (€52 for two courses and two Cokes).

11/06/2026: My girlfriend and I came on Thursday evening, June 11th, and everything was perfect, from the excellent food to the very warm service (a special shout-out to the Asian waiter who served us from beginning to end). We highly recommend this restaurant.

02/05/2026: The highlight is the restaurant. They set the bar so high that we didn't enjoy any other restaurant for the rest of our stay in Alsace. The hotel itself is simple, but clean and nicely decorated with artwork. The service is impeccable—pleasant, helpful, and warm. It's a real treat and almost a rarity these days to find this level of quality in tourist areas.

20/04/2026: No swimming pool. The rooms are a bit bland. Nevertheless, we had a good night's sleep. The restaurant isn't anything special; I found it very basic and average considering the price. The positive point is the large parking lot. So my opinion is rather mixed. I think it's a bit expensive for what's offered, but it wasn't unpleasant.

23/01/2026: After our hike up the Col du Bonhomme, we stopped at this establishment. Even at 3 pm, we were able to get a typical hot meal, and then we had a very wide selection of desserts (lemon meringue pie, flan, blueberries, plums, tiramisu, rum baba, etc.). The owner is incredibly welcoming and answered all our questions about the local wildlife, explaining the wolves and foxes in the area.

15/12/2025: After a wonderful weekend in Turkheim and Riquewihr, my husband and I had lunch at the Relais Vosges - Alsace before a long 4-hour drive, and what a lovely surprise! We started with a rich and generous soup, then my husband had the Munster quiche, which was absolutely delicious. I had fries (delicious, perfectly crispy and plump) and two knackwurst sausages—it had been so long! I loved it; everything was perfect, right down to dessert (lemon meringue pie and custard tart). The staff is lovely, incredibly friendly, and very pleasant (I really don't understand some of the negative reviews; you must be incredibly picky... or a bit too self-important...). We will gladly return to the Relais on our next trip to Alsace. Thank you for this wonderful experience!

21/12/2025: We discovered this restaurant during our stay for the Christmas markets. It's an unusual restaurant with its small dining room seating 17, decorated in a style that transports you straight back to the old Alsatian era, much like the owners, who are approaching 80 and still serve authentic, homemade regional dishes. We enjoyed chatting with this friendly couple, and I'll cherish the memory of this place and recommend it without hesitation, despite what you might initially think.

16/06/2026: Nice little local restaurant. We went there for a meal. Right at the beginning, we were informed that they were currently only serving tarte flambée (probably due to the time of day or the time of day). No problem. We like that kind of food. It was also delicious.

16/06/2026: Arriving at 12:15 pm, there were still few customers, but the restaurant's terrace quickly filled up. We were pleasantly surprised by the small green salad, which was actually a mixed salad with sprouted seeds as a garnish. Enticed by the menu photos online, I was disappointed not to find my favorite salmon tarte flambée, but I made up for it with one with Munster cheese (ordered without bacon, as it overpowers the Munster's flavor). It was generously topped. My wife chose the forestière, which was also excellent. For drinks, we ordered a 0.25-liter carafe of Gewürztraminer, which, while it paired well with the meal, lacked the typical aromas of Gewürztraminer, especially considering the high price of €10. Our dog was given a bowl of water without us even asking. I therefore recommend this place.

09/07/2026: We came here twice because we enjoyed it so much. We were able to sit comfortably on the side street, the staff was very friendly, and the food was exceptionally good! The price-performance ratio is absolutely reasonable; you can taste the high quality of the meat. We had burgers, steak tartare, entrecôte, and pizza, and we can recommend everything!

05/07/2026: We tried the Tarte Flambée. Very nice. Brilliant crème brûlée for dessert.

27/05/2026: A pleasant Italian restaurant, tried for lunch. Nice setting, friendly and very helpful waitresses, good food... you can go there without hesitation to have a good time!

15/05/2026: No idea how the food tastes, reserved for 9 people, stood in front of a closed door. People waved from inside but didn't open the door. After waiting 10 minutes, walked to a friendlier restaurant across the street.

11/06/2026: The food was very average for the price. The receptionist, a woman of a certain age, was not welcoming. Beer was €6 - one glass of rosé was undrinkable. This establishment has gone downhill. I won't be returning.

07/06/2026: Excellent meal, smiling waitress, typical Alsatian decor. Feeling very hungry? The portions are generous! More than recommendable value for money. Well done!

04/06/2026: Great value for money, both cheap and delicious. I highly recommend the main ingredient, the pickled cabbage; it's really good. No reservation needed, just go at 6:30 and you're good to go.

01/05/2026: Well, it's not my favorite kebab place. I don't like meat at all, and there's no choice of spit-roasted meat. I only go there occasionally for my dad; he lives nearby. But it's a shame, it lacks a bit of a smile and a warm welcome. As for the kebab itself, it's a matter of taste. Personally, I don't like the half-round bread and the frozen meat mixture; I prefer bread baked on-site and homemade spit-roasted meat. The price is still quite expensive: €7 for a basic kebab, not very full, and without fries or a drink, outside the city center. It's not the worst, but it's far from the best. It has the advantage of being the only kebab shop in this area, which is why it's staying in business, but it's not a renowned kebab shop. It's just the local spot on the side of the road when you're coming from the opposite direction from Mulhouse.
