24/08/2026: Warm welcome. The meat was excellent. Nothing has changed in years. The fillet and sirloin steaks were very tender, well-cooked, and a real treat. Desserts included ice cream and chocolate fondue with seasonal fruit, both very good. The service was a little slow but impeccable. (The restaurant was full.)

23/08/2026: I've been going to this restaurant for years. The food is absolutely excellent, without equal. However, every time there's the same problem: the gray-haired waiter really doesn't speak well at all. I find this very unfortunate; it really spoils the atmosphere of this wonderful restaurant. It would be good to remind him that in a service setting, even if he doesn't enjoy it, he must adapt to the customers and maintain professionalism. There was even a gentleman that evening who said to him, "You don't have to speak to me like that. Is there something wrong with you?" He really needs to correct this so that we can continue to come in large numbers. Thank you for taking the time to read my comment, which is constructive feedback and not simply a criticism. 03/07/2026: The main course was very good and very generous, and the dessert was also very good. My only slight complaint is the service, which was a bit rushed: I hadn't quite finished my plate before the rest of the table was already being cleared, and less than two minutes later I had to choose my dessert. Apart from that, the staff were friendly.

21/07/2026: I regularly order takeaway pizzas from you and I'm never disappointed. The pizzas are excellent, generously topped, with a delicious crust and quality ingredients. The welcome is always warm, the orders are ready on time, and the staff is very friendly. They are by far the best pizzas I've ever had. I wholeheartedly recommend this place to all pizza lovers!

15/08/2026: Though the dishes were supposed to be grilled but everything we ordered was dripping in oil and had absolutely no flavour. The calamari, prawns, mushroom etc, everything tasted like oil and nothing else. 68 Euros for 2, was a waste.

18/07/2026: I went on Monday with my son. First of all, the reception was disgusting; I've never been so badly received. Secondly, the photos are completely fake. I left with an empty stomach, and that evening my son was vomiting and I had terrible stomach pains.

01/07/2026: I ordered my kebab for 12:00, but I didn't receive it until 12:10. What's even more disappointing is that two people who arrived after me were served before me, even though my order was supposed to be ready at noon. As for the meal itself, the quality was average. The kebab was sparsely filled and the bread wasn't crispy, which made the whole experience quite disappointing. And finally, the price displayed on the website is different from the prices in the restaurant.

12/08/2026: Ordered via Deliveroo, very disappointed. The meat was rubbery, and there was a nauseating smell; you wonder how long it's been in the kitchen. I will never go to this restaurant again, very disappointed.

06/08/2026: The waiter didn't even bother to speak French... he was an English speaker. It was stiflingly hot; we asked for the air conditioning to be turned on, and he just put on music. It was impossible to eat in that heat. Very unpleasant; we didn't even want to finish our meals. We took half our food to go just to get out of there.

15/05/2026: There's almost nothing to complain about here, except for the somewhat spartan breakfast with its limited selection. A buffet would have been nicer for dinner, as the set menu wasn't to everyone's taste, although it was still very tasty. The sauna and pool are fantastic!

08/06/2026: First and last time at Domaine du Hirtz. Very disappointed! I wasn't expecting this: mostly faulty facilities, very average food, very average service, no staff available to answer questions, sewage smell in the first changing room.... I won't be going back.

05/06/2026: We had the immense joy of celebrating our wedding at this incredible estate. It's a magical and charming place, perfect for a secular wedding with a rustic or bohemian theme. All our guests were equally captivated; the setting is truly breathtaking. Furthermore, Julianna, who was with us throughout the weekend and beforehand, was incredibly attentive and responsive to our requests. We also enjoyed the lodges, which were exceptionally comfortable and charming, perfectly reflecting the beauty of the venue. The restaurant itself is delicious, simple yet efficient. The servers are also very pleasant. It's touching that they have an initiative to employ people with visible and invisible disabilities. In conclusion, if you're looking for a wedding venue, look no further!

03/07/2026: I give the restaurant top marks. I didn't stay at the hotel (my sister did and she was very happy with it). The hotel is located right across from the train station, and the rooms are very good value for money. As for the restaurant, it's excellent value for money. Everything was delicious, homemade with fresh ingredients, original, a top-notch meal from start to finish, all for a reasonable price. Congratulations to the chef! A very pleasant surprise. I highly recommend this restaurant and will definitely return.

26/05/2026: Everything you find in Alsace…simple, pleasant, clean, friendly, and welcoming, all in a very well-maintained building. I much prefer this type of establishment to an overpriced, ultra-cozy hotel. With a day reaching 30°C, air conditioning wasn't an option. Parking is available in the center of Thann. This establishment was exactly what I had booked. Thank you.

19/04/2026: Instead of the booked 20 m² suite with a view of the mountains, we got a 9 m² room in the attic with a skylight and a view of another roof. The furniture was worn out, the refrigerator was on the ground. The administrator gave us the keys and went home. We didn't get dinner, we didn't get breakfast either with us or on site. We didn't get our money back for the room and breakfast we paid in advance. Parking is 2 blocks away, although you can park your car right on the street. The SPA is an old dusty jacuzzi, standing on an open balcony in a side street between houses. We didn't get the bill either. The hotel doesn't respond to emails, doesn't communicate through Booking. Most of the photos in the profile are not from this hotel. A complete fake. Be careful - payment only in advance, the establishment does not refund money.

18/04/2026: We went there for a meal and received a very warm welcome! The setting, both inside and out, is very charming and pleasant, the cuisine is refined and delicious, good value for money, and the establishment is very clean. We'll definitely be back!
