01/10/2025: It's rare that I bother to leave a negative review, but I can't leave my 5⭐ comment unchanged. Today, it's become a no-go; it's nothing like a quality kebab since the change of ownership. No more wine or beer on the menu, which is a shame; the Turkish wine offered by the previous owner was nice. Pizza served with too much cheese and undercooked; the doner kebab wasn't bad, with meat cooked properly; it makes up for the rest. The terrace, once pleasant, has become uninhabitable with the number of cars passing by.

04/10/2025: Very disappointed. Small menu with a very limited selection, disastrous service, dirty tablecloth, no one asked if everything was alright, 22 minutes stopwatch in hand to get two glasses of wine. Everything takes forever... In short, that's just a small part of the unpleasantness of this meal. We paid and left, last time for us... It's a shame everything changes when it used to be perfect...

02/01/2026: Charming. The atmosphere is admittedly old-fashioned, but the welcome from the owner, his son, and grandson, as well as their extended family, is incredibly warm. The setting is fantastic and peaceful. And while some of the facilities are a bit dated, it's clear they're lovingly maintained. We thoroughly enjoyed the meals in the restaurant and the breakfasts. My 3-year-old son received the same dishes as us at the children's menu price. The owner's grandson, along with the two lovely waitresses, went out of his way to look after him. Our dog was also pampered. If you have a dog, and it's good with other dogs (almost all the other guests did too), then it's a little slice of paradise. I'll definitely be back!

01/01/2026: The hotel has remained unchanged for a long time, so don't expect much in the way of cleanliness. Breakfast was good, and the owner is trying his best. It desperately needs a major renovation and refresh. It's a shame the building next door wasn't finished; we had booked a double room, but it was two single beds that couldn't be pushed together. The location is very quiet, surrounded by forest, perfect for walks. Be aware there's no cell service at all, only Wi-Fi (a phone is available at reception free of charge). 😉🙃 The pool and jacuzzi are very nice. 👍 In conclusion, I think this could be a superb resort with a major facelift.

02/01/2026: We bought an ice cream log for the holidays, and imagine my surprise to find pig figurines on it! Not being religious, I have no religion. One might wonder why pigs! And one might question whether it was intentional or an oversight.

27/01/2026: A mediocre experience. The price is excessive for what you get. The quality is disappointing (dry rice, lack of seasoning in the salad) and the sushi pieces are abnormally small. Despite ordering 42 pieces for two people, the quantity wasn't enough to satisfy us. Unfortunately, the standardized approach of a chain restaurant is all too apparent, to the detriment of taste and generous portions.

01/03/2026: The restaurant was not welcoming at all. Almost a two-hour wait to be served. The manager needs to learn how to communicate with her customers. The pizza chef acts like a celebrity, when he's terrible. They really need to rethink their approach. The Romeo family, whom you know so well.

There, the door is never a door, but an open embrace, a discreet fire awaiting me under the gentle name of La Lanterna. I enter as one returns home after too many winters, with that peaceful certainty that nothing will be feigned, that everything will be true. The bread still speaks of wheat, the sauces simmer for a long time, and the hands that cook have learned the patience of mothers. Each plate recognizes me, reassures me, whispers to me that happiness is never far away, that it hides in the steam rising from a dish and in the laughter of a neighboring table. There, love is simple, the price is gentle, and generosity is immeasurable. I go there with a childlike enthusiasm, with that luminous eagerness to rediscover warmth, nameless family, and the fragile beauty of homemade things. For there are places where one goes not only to eat, but to mend one's soul by the light of a lantern. So yes, bon voyage, to those who still seek authentic places, and who will recognize, in the discreet light of a lantern, the simple and precious taste of contentment.

01/01/2026: Restaurant to avoid. Nice staff and setting, but the food is disastrous. The tarte flambée is sparsely filled and very bland. Some dishes, like the onion tart, are clearly reheated from the day before.

29/12/2025: A small restaurant with a very limited menu. By 1:00, they were already closing down new customers. We had two typical dishes, which were delicious and with decent portions. There's no internet access inside, and there's no Wi-Fi.

05/02/2026: A very pleasant place to stay, the managers are attentive and always welcoming with a smile. The restaurant is very elegant, and the food is excellent. A very good hotel; I highly recommend it, even just for dining. Satisfactory value for money.

05/02/2026: A disaster. We arrived as a group: uncleaned rooms, unpleasant smells, stains on the pillowcases. In one of my colleagues' rooms, there was no water in the bathroom. The hotel was undergoing renovations, with construction starting in the morning. The breakfast was meager and pre-packaged. Really a 3-star hotel?
