25/08/2026: First morning of vacation in this picturesque Alsatian village and first disappointment when tasting the pastries (croissants and pain au chocolat)... were they even fresh? That's the question: a bit dry, not very crispy... so different from last year. It's a real shame. The baguettes taste much more artisanal than the pastries. For our midday aperitif, we had pretzels, which unfortunately got damp, so we couldn't compare them to last year.

21/08/2026: Great bakery and very friendly staff. We enjoyed the (fairly priced) breakfast with great coffee and juice there every morning during our stay. The bread over the counter is also very tasty (minus the bretzel).

25/07/2026: Paying €12 for parking when we spent €200 on groceries and ate at a restaurant – unheard of! He wants to spend €60 at Leclerc for one hour of free parking – outrageous! A shopping center that doesn't understand that parking is a service. No more Muse, I'm going to Waves instead – shameful!

12/08/2026: A lovely spot tucked away from the main street and nice and cool. Very pleasant in this heat. The staff were responsive and friendly. We had a very good meal. The portions were tasty and generous. The burger was amazing. Shaped like a hot dog but with a pretzel bun. A place to remember.

08/08/2026: A terrible experience. The food was awful—tasteless and bland—but the worst part was the service. Every time you asked the waiter for something, he gave you a dirty look and complained. It was awful; I hope I never have to go back.

12/08/2026: We often order pizzas and they're good. (A bit pricey, but that's the case everywhere here.) The atmosphere in the restaurant is a bit like a garage (noisy and not very cozy), but the food is good and they serve large portions.

24/08/2026: It's always a pleasure to enjoy delicious food at the Guewenheim train station restaurant. The calamari salad is excellent, as is the perfectly cooked beef. !!! Exceptional wine list !!!

22/08/2026: Really disappointed. Several positive points to start with. The place is nice. Efficient service. Excellent cinnamon sorbet. Negative points. The potato negra was overcooked, the risotto was too salty, and where was the caramelization? The morel sauce on the guinea fowl was mediocre. Honestly, chefs, put some heart into it, especially at over €30 a plate... I ordered a nice wine that I wanted to take home to finish the evening with my wife, but the waitress poured the rest of the bottle into our glasses before we could react. Luckily, there was no alcohol check at the exit. Honestly, €140 for two people for that! I left a €5 tip on principle, not even a thank you... For your information, I worked as a chef in a Michelin-starred restaurant for several years.
