20/09/2025: A very good discovery. The raw fish is excellent, as are the skewers. The dishes are very good. The miso soup is very good.
We appreciated the fast and friendly service. We were going to a show afterward, and it was perfect.
The desserts are also very good. We tried the frozen mochi, there's even lychee, and the chocolate mi-cuit is excellent.

08/07/2025: My wife and I dined at this charming Japanese restaurant today. We left fully satisfied. The salmon sashimi was incredibly fresh, the maki delicious, and the miso soup was the best we've ever tasted. The staff was pleasant, and the service was fast. I can't recommend this restaurant enough.

26/01/2026: No black pearl (despite it being the restaurant's best-seller). We were also disappointed by a dish that was supposed to have squid ink but didn't, resulting in a bland and uninteresting dish. We hope this drop in quality is just a temporary setback.

08/07/2025: Higuma is and remains a true institution.
I always sit down in front of the kitchens, alone or with someone else. It's always a treat (summer and winter). The welcome, the smile, the responsiveness, the service, and the cleanliness are all there. It's a shame that customers don't always fully appreciate this institution, probably due to the cafeteria feel.

08/07/2025: Too expensive for an inedible salad, dishes that are truly inferior in quality, and a level of hygiene that is more than questionable. You can find better in the area.

19/01/2026: Always packed, weekdays and weekends alike, which makes sense. Very convenient set menus (low and mid-range prices), plenty of options for dishes and desserts outside of the set menus, fast service, and a pleasant atmosphere. They accept holiday vouchers. Very nice for a "shopping center" restaurant.
17/01/2026: There were three of us, myself and two friends. Excellent service, reasonable waiting times and very good food, pleasant setting, a very good way to end a busy day.

27/01/2026: I used to come to this restaurant regularly with my family, but my last experience means I'll definitely never go back. The service was awful; we were yelled at by the waitress because we weren't clearing the plates or serving the dishes she brought us quickly enough (even though we hadn't finished the previous ones!). I still don't understand how anyone can treat customers so badly.
17/01/2026: Sushi Osaka is, for me, the best sushi restaurant in Limoges. And I've tried quite a few sushi restaurants since I've been in Limoges... the rice doesn't have that slightly unpleasant sweet taste that many Japanese restaurants have. As for the service, everything is really good. I go there about once a week and I've never had any problems. The quality is truly excellent.

I apologize in advance for my rating; I never leave negative reviews, but really… I ordered takeout: the shrimp tempura was undercooked, the sashimi were huge slices, the ginger was swimming in its own juice, and the tuna didn't smell good—I don't think it was fresh. I felt very nauseous after the meal. I may have just been unlucky, but I'm writing this review so it doesn't happen again, I hope!
13/01/2026: I love this little neighborhood Japanese place. I wouldn't say it's haute cuisine or that it's on par with traditional restaurants, but it's excellent value for money for a quick bite. The service is truly perfect and the place is very pleasant!
