08/09/2026: The sushi wasn't great. The sweet sauce was really bad, almost slimy. Disappointing for Sushi Shop, which used to be a very decent chain.

06/09/2026: We were very disappointed with our experience. After a long day at work, we came to this restaurant, which is one of our favorites in Marseille, because we were tired and simply wanted to eat and have a good time. We also work in the restaurant industry and know it very well. Unfortunately, we were turned away due to a large number of delivery orders, and we were only offered pre-prepared dishes. What disappointed us most wasn't just the refusal, but especially the fact that no other solution was offered: no option to wait, no estimate of the wait time, or any alternative. We understand that a restaurant can be overwhelmed with orders, but as loyal customers, we would have appreciated a little more consideration and better communication. It's a shame, especially for a place we loved so much. 💔

20/07/2026: Excellent find! We often walked past it, so we decided to try it out, and we have absolutely no regrets. The staff is friendly and welcoming, the restaurant is very clean, and the food is fresh. We'll definitely be back.

17/09/2026: I moved to the neighborhood about two months ago, and on moving day, while looking for something to eat before picking up the truck to collect my belongings, I stumbled upon this sushi restaurant. My friend had ordered a sushi platter to go, which was absolutely delicious. He offered me some, and I was pleasantly surprised. I'd noticed they also had poke bowls displayed in the window, so I ordered one. And honestly, it was delicious! The poke bowl was very generously filled, with a good amount of salmon, and above all, very substantial. You can tell they don't skimp on the portions. Since moving to the neighborhood, I've ordered a poke bowl meal with a drink from them about five times, and each time I've been very satisfied. It's always well-presented, generous, and tasty. I've never been disappointed. The lady at the reception is really lovely and always pleasant. I'm now waiting for my friend to come back to Paris so we can go back to the restaurant together and this time eat the sushi right there! 😄 Truly, a great place in the neighborhood that I highly recommend. I'm so glad I stumbled upon it when I moved here!

22/09/2026: We remember that evening at Au Trotthus with a certain affection—and at the same time with that quiet reserve that arises when an experience, while harmonious, wasn't entirely convincing. Days before, we had discovered the restaurant on a side street, almost hidden away, nearly at the end of the small alley. It was precisely this unassuming nature that immediately appealed to us, and we made a reservation without hesitation. On September 14, 2026, we received an exceptionally warm welcome and were allowed to choose the most beautiful table from the available ones. It had caught our eye the first time we walked by: right at the back, where the building's most massive beams radiate their centuries-old tranquility. A place with character, warm and inviting. The drinks arrived promptly, and we had ample time to put together our dinner. The restaurant serves traditional cuisine, so we opted for a true Alsatian evening. Maultaschen de Pois, Salade de Choucroute, and – a first for both of us – Parmentier d’effiloché de Bœuf d’Alsace. The crème brûlée for dessert was only manageable for my wife; my starter was practically a main course, and together with the main course, it was simply too much. The plates were attractively presented, the food solid, but generally rather under-seasoned, and overall too bland. The ambiance, on the other hand, was pleasant, the restaurant charming, and we felt comfortable. Ultimately, however, the lavish meal remained a rather harmless, somewhat bland experience – friendly, comfortable, but lacking that little spark that makes an evening truly unforgettable.

04/10/2026: Superb! Always a warm welcome and a smile. The wait time is acceptable because everything is prepared fresh in the kitchen (allow 5 to 10 minutes depending on the size of your takeaway order), and the loyalty program is really worthwhile! I've been going there regularly (about once a week for the past two months). The price-quality ratio is good for a chain like EAT SUSHI; I don't find it overpriced.
