02/05/2026: Disappointed… We had a reservation for 9 pm, were seated at 9:15 pm, and the waitress gave us a disdainful look. The skewers were cold, the gyozas were cold, the samosas were cold, and the tempura was cold; there was very little variety of sushi. The servers completely ignored our request for the dishes included in the all-you-can-eat option (€28.50, which we didn't deserve). It's a shame; we won't be returning.

03/07/2026: We were the only guests in the restaurant and enjoyed a fabulous experience at this upscale establishment. The food was plentiful and excellent, the portions generous, and the owner delightful. The only downside: the excessive prices of the drinks.

05/06/2026: We came this evening as a family of four. Everything was perfect. High-quality food, a lovely little show (no need for conversation, we were completely captivated by the chef's performance). The staff was very pleasant and welcoming. We will gladly return! Thank you very much.

06/03/2026: Decent restaurant. It's definitely not the best ramen in Nancy. The ramen is of decent quality, but the portions are quite large. The dining area, however, is a bit gloomy, all black and red and without windows. The atmosphere is a little too dim, especially since there's often a strong smell of sewage in the entrance area. The main advantage is the reasonable price. Go there for decent, inexpensive ramen.

01/03/2026: For the past five years, I've been traveling all over France, desperately trying to find a ramen restaurant this delicious. I've failed miserably... The portions are generous, with lots of different toppings, the dishes can be customized (vegetarian option available), and the prices are more than reasonable. The only downside (which isn't really a downside): I can never finish my meals, but they do offer takeout. If you're ever in Nancy, it's a must-try. I know I'll definitely be back.

07/07/2026: We ate well, the service was quick, and the owner was friendly.

30/06/2026: We went there with some colleagues. The wait was unacceptable, especially since we had planned to give each of us our menus in advance. As a result, I had to wait 50 minutes to eat two kebabs and some rice, even though we had a one-hour lunch break. When we asked for a doggy bag because there were only 10 minutes left to be served, we were rushed out. The servers kept getting our orders wrong and were particularly unpleasant.

05/07/2026: Oops! I'm changing my review! It's not the same owner anymore, things have changed a lot! I'm very, very disappointed compared to before. The food has much less flavor and the system isn't the same. It's a real shame. It used to be one of my favorite restaurants.

01/07/2026: A great find at Tae Dong Gwan! I ordered the chicken ramyeon and really enjoyed the noodles—they were perfectly cooked, with a lovely texture and delicious flavor. The chicken was also excellent: tender, cooked to perfection, and melt-in-your-mouth. To go with it, I had a plum iced tea, which was also very good, refreshing, and fragrant. One small drawback, though: there were far too many ice cubes, which meant there wasn't much of a drink left. Also, the sauce seemed a little powdery and slightly less harmonious than the rest of the dish. This is a minor point, however, as the overall experience was delicious and makes me want to come back and try other dishes on the menu. Special mention goes to the waitress, who was incredibly kind and welcoming, making the experience even more enjoyable. A great Korean restaurant to discover in Paris!

09/07/2026: An absolutely memorable experience in the heart of the 6th arrondissement. Everything was remarkably refined, from the selection of sashimi to the sushi served on a wooden board that perfectly showcased the exceptional freshness of the fish. The precision of the work on each piece, especially the sushi garnished with a shiso leaf, testifies to genuine expertise. You can taste the respect for the product in every bite. This is a must-visit for discerning Japanese food lovers who value quality above all else.

21/05/2026: I visited last summer in July at the tail end of a very long trip. I hadn't eaten for 12 hours and I wanted just one thing before going home: Good Japanese food. The Sakura auspiciously shares its name with two of my closest friends, so I went and decided to try a little bit of everything they had to offer, which ended up being two of their menu options: a sampler of yakitori skewers and some karaage, both of which came with its own serving of rice and veggies. All of that topped with a nice cold mug of Asahi. It was so good, and I needed it so much, I genuinely teared up while eating. Yeah, really! Believe it or don't! I came in outside of rush hour so I was the only one in the restaurant at the time. I can't say if this restaurant is any loud or packed full of people at the usual times, but in a way, I hope it does. That said, the quiet did make the atmosphere excellent. Calm and relaxing, just how I like it. The staff was very kind and professional, and I was more than happy to leave a tip, it was worth it. 有難うございます！また戻ってくるよ！！

16/05/2026: Still as delicious as ever after 30 years! We thoroughly enjoyed the makizushi, sushi, torikatsu, and vegetarian ramen 👌 The desserts were also delicious: red bean paste tiramisu, financiers, and matcha cookies.
