21/01/2026: Fantastic experience at Volonté Japanese restaurant! The sushi and sashimi were incredibly fresh and delicious, perfectly prepared. The atmosphere is pleasant and the service is warm. I highly recommend this place. It's a pleasure to return every time.

10/12/2024: Never been disappointed with Saint Barnabé sushi, I tried to order from the one in Joliette which is closer to home... What a disappointment!! Fried sushi... In my opinion fried several times... It was so inedible... The tacos were all soft... Fondant cheese... Without cheese... I will no longer order there.

02/01/2026: We couldn't even get a meal. I called to make a reservation, and the answering machine message said they don't take reservations. So we arrived quite early without a reservation and were refused entry on arrival because we were told we needed a reservation. The dining room was empty, apparently waiting for reservations. A clear communication problem and a very frustrating experience. A shame.

31/12/2025: I highly recommend this restaurant; the food is EXCELLENT!!! We had a wonderful meal and received a very warm welcome. The portions are very generous and delicious. I've rarely eaten such good Asian food, and even at 130 kg (286 lbs), I was completely satisfied with just one dish. 07/02/2026: Absolutely terrible. Takes over an hour and a half to deliver and doesn't care at all. Given the number of Japanese restaurants out there, choose another one.

22/01/2026: I ordered for the first time, but I didn't find the quality very good! The rice was overcooked. It was like rice mash. The skewers were very salty. The coleslaw was bland. And the sushi/maki were much too sweet (probably due to the rice seasoning).

19/10/2025: I discovered this Asian restaurant, it's very good and very varied. There's a choice for all tastes, from sushi to miso soup, rice bowls, pickled cabbage bowls, skewers, and gyozas. Reservations are highly recommended as the establishment has limited seating.

14/08/2025: I've been here two times and each time I took the sushi boat and split the bill with friends. The fish is fresh, the vegetables are fresh, the staff is friendly, the toilets are clean and the kitchen also looks clean. I'm not the biggest fan of the atmosphere but that wasn't a deal breaker at all, I had a great time dining here !!

What truly stood out this time was the teppanyaki experience — a perfect blend of culinary art and entertainment. The service was impeccable. Staff were attentive without being intrusive and ensured every part of our meal went smoothly. We also appreciated the sake recommendations, which paired nicely with our dishes and elevated the overall dining experience. KAMIKO maintains high standards not only in food quality but also in presentation and hospitality. Whether you’re a regular or returning after a long break, this restaurant consistently delivers. I’ll definitely be back much sooner next time — the teppanyaki alone is worth the visit. Highly recommended.

09/02/2026: Great hotel for a stopover, very friendly staff. Because we were traveling with a dog, the staff member changed us to a ground-floor room, which was very helpful. Everything was clean and fresh. The most important thing for me is always having a secure parking space because I have a trailer towing the car. The gate closes from 8:00 PM to 7:00 AM and can only be opened during that time with a code. We'd love to come back.

26/12/2025: We stayed three nights at this hotel. Overall, it was okay but not perfect. On the first day, the toilet in our room was clogged, and in the second room, the hairdryer didn't work. Also, I can't say the hotel was very clean… for me, cleanliness-wise, it's a 2.5/5. For a 3-star hotel, it's still acceptable, but a bit pricey for the quality. On the other hand, Joaquim, the receptionist, is a really respectful and pleasant person. The secure private parking with automatic gate and cameras is a real plus. The hotel is located in a quiet area.

19/01/2026: Definitely don't eat there. The pho broth is tasteless, the meat tastes like plastic. Like chewing gum, nothing special.

18/12/2025: Perfect. We've been ordering our sushi regularly from this restaurant since 2020. The sushi is always incredibly high quality… We've never been disappointed, and the delivery is always top-notch and on time.

28/10/2025: Very disappointed. It's not the first time I've ordered from them, but frankly, it's not worth the price. The salmon sashimi is over €1 a slice, but for the size, it's not worth it at all. It's not like usual... The rice has no taste... I won't be going back.

I wanted to write another review because: 1) the consistent quality of the dishes 2) the absolutely adorable and caring welcome from the owners, who only want to please the customer, are remarkable. What originality and variety compared to other places, and what freshness! To name just a few examples, the Gyozas with their thin and crispy wrapper, the Californias / Spring rolls with Shrimp Tempura or Breaded Chicken with spicy cucumber sauce, are to die for! Thank you, Sushi Village, for treating us like this every week.
