22/08/2026: Excellent wine shop, the owner is a great character who brings you very good wines, and the tables on the street are beautifully placed. We had a glass of champagne for €13, a red for €8, both good, two cans of Perrier, an exceptional pan tomate, and a very good charcuterie and cheese platter. Total €65, correct.

21/08/2026: The couscous was bland and tasteless (you couldn't taste any spices at all). The raisins were flavorless, and the vegetables, apart from carrots and zucchini, offered no variety. The chickpeas were also tasteless. The merguez sausages were tiny and had no flavor either. The red wine was served by the glass and was lukewarm! In short, a total flop. The decor is undeniably beautiful; you'd think you were in Morocco, but the food and service leave much to be desired. The price is also quite high... I booked through TheFork, which thankfully gave me a 20% discount on the dishes. But despite that, I was extremely disappointed. We were seated in a very cramped corner, even though there was plenty of space when we arrived (we were the first customers). In short, very disappointed.

13/08/2026: First reservation and very satisfied with this culinary experience. The setting, nestled at the foot of the cathedral, is very peaceful for the city center. Our server was friendly and the timing between aperitifs and the main courses was well managed. As for the meal, the cuisine was exquisite. It was delicious and, above all, very generous. In short, a must-try. We will be back.

Last night, Friday, we enjoyed the karaoke night 🎤, comfortably seated on the terrace, with a fantastic atmosphere 🎉. Another excellent time spent at La Maison du Grand Large! 24/07/2026: Tipaza is a sure bet: a very attentive owner, always smiling, and top-notch food! I've been coming regularly from Lyon for over 15 years to eat the best couscous!

26/06/2026: I absolutely loved Tipaza! An incredible private wedding reception, top-notch from start to finish: magnificent dishes, delicious couscous, shakshuka, and brik pastries! Right up to the dance floor at the end of the night, the atmosphere was truly superb, thanks to an attentive and very friendly team!

15/08/2026: I only ever eat my mom's couscous! And then one day... I try L'Arganier and their royal couscous! Just as good as my mom's... so I go there with great pleasure! The welcome is exceptional, the staff is lovely! The restaurant is very clean (as are the restrooms) and everything is a delight! Go without hesitation! And enjoy.

03/08/2026: Absolutely delicious! Lots of choices. Their €6.90 sandwiches are the cheapest in the neighborhood, and they're delicious and substantial, haha! The staff is super friendly and welcoming, no complaints.

21/08/2026: We asked to share a main course, then were billed for two mains. When we asked about this, we were told that they dont allow for sharing of main courses. That’s fine if those are the rules, but ignoring our request to share and simply bringing us two main courses without letting us know when ordering is not. They were fairly rude about the whole thing, claiming that it was our fault and as if the rules were obvious 😢 ***The restaurant’s response of ‘You should have read the fine print’ just confirms their unethical practices. 😢
