09/08/2026: We celebrated our 7th wedding anniversary yesterday at lunchtime at the restaurant, and everything went wonderfully! The welcome and service from the team were incredibly warm, and the culinary journey itself was impressive. The amuse-bouche was a strikingly light emulsion, enhanced by sweet potato chips whose sweet crispness perfectly complemented the creaminess of the mousse, awakening the palate. For the first course, the foie gras was accompanied by a Banyuls sauce that was neither heavy nor overly sweet. The freshness of the foie gras was impeccable, the cooking perfect, releasing captivating aromas and boasting a wonderfully tender texture. The second course, the lobster, offered remarkably balanced seasoning. The young shoots of fresh coriander provided a perfectly timed seasonal touch, the jus was bursting with umami flavors, and the lobster—like the foie gras—was cooked to perfection. The sauce for the turbot fillet might have lacked a touch of depth, but the accompanying ratatouille was an undeniable success. So successful, in fact, that it almost overshadowed the turbot itself (although the delicate, melt-in-your-mouth flesh of the turbot was certainly not lacking). The pan-fried sweetbreads, an iconic ingredient of French haute cuisine, were prepared with great skill. While the sauce adhered to tradition, the chef made the bold choice to forgo the usual morels in favor of a perfectly executed seasonal mushroom sauce. While the dishes already demonstrated a perfect mastery of classic French cuisine, the sommelier's selection added a real touch of class: four glasses of remarkable quality, with impeccable food and wine pairings, offered at a very reasonable price. (And two of the four glasses were from the Auvergne region—what a surprise!) Finally, the honey and apricot soufflé, accompanied by rosemary ice cream, brought this gastronomic journey to a beautiful close. The soufflé was a complete success! Its airy texture echoed the emulsion at the beginning of the meal. A first spoonful of warm soufflé revealed the full richness of the honey combined with the perfect acidity of the apricot pieces hidden at the bottom of the ramekin; then, a spoonful of rosemary ice cream, both fresh and delicate, created a striking contrast and balanced the whole. If I, a layperson, had to identify a guiding principle for this seasonal menu, it would be: balance, complete mastery, a touch of personal interpretation, and a respect for the classics. In short, this culinary experience has left us with a truly memorable wedding celebration. Thank you for this moment! From now on, when we return home to Clermont from the Puy de Dôme or Vulcania, the iconic blue sign of this establishment will remind us of this precious wedding anniversary meal and give us only one desire: to return as soon as possible.

25/08/2026: Very long wait. Reservations are absolutely necessary. The food is okay, but nothing special. The location with its beautiful view saves the overall rating.

24/08/2026: We called 10 minutes before opening, having already arrived, to ask if we could have a drink before service started, but it was impossible. So far, so good. We went for a drink a little longer and arrived at 7:20 pm sharp, instead of 7:00 pm (the time of our reservation). The waiter greeted us with, "Oh yeah, but you had a reservation for 7:00 pm, damn it!" I don't think it's a crime to arrive 20 minutes after the start of the reservation when half the terrace is otherwise empty. The real issue, however, isn't that, but rather how to communicate with customers. The crepes are good but very expensive for what you get. A big eater will spend at least €40. The view is very nice, but considering the service and the price/quantity ratio, once is enough. I suspect the restaurant will respond however they want to, given that I won't be able to respond directly to them, but this review is posted calmly and in a 100% factual and honest manner.

11/06/2026: Very pleasant, as usual; it's my children's favorite restaurant. Today there was a bit of a wait, which is understandable given how busy it was. They did their best, well done and thank you to the whole team. We'll be back as usual, and always keep smiling; it's a pleasure to see smiling waiters and waitresses. Smiling bartender, excellent head waiter, etc.

26/09/2025: We came for my mother's 80th birthday. I had organized everything, the accommodation, the walks... she had never visited Auvergne. We come from Switzerland. She loved it... but especially the meal at your place... It was a mixture of refinement, creativity and tenderness. The love of taste... and the taste of others. I will never forget the strawberry tagada reinterpreted by you and your team. Everything was bold, delicious, especially the 1000 tomatoes on a plate, but there was the particularly moving wink. Thank you! I hope you will read this message and your team too. I know you will close. But something else will be born and I reserve my table...

05/08/2026: We walked here from the IKEA parking lot because we saw on Google that it was open. The rating was even excellent. When we arrived, it was closed. For a restaurant that's supposed to serve a lot of customers, it seems essential to have this kind of up-to-date information. The only restaurant in the area, so our meal will have to wait. Disappointed!

09/05/2026: We came this evening, Saturday, May 9th (three adults and a baby), along with our little mascot, Féfé! We were just passing through for our children's competition! The welcome was incredibly warm, with a Creole atmosphere just the way we like it—music, decor, everything! The food was just like home! (being from Réunion Island) With our baby under two, we were more than happy with Pascal in the dining room, who managed everything perfectly, catering to his needs, his giggles, and his curiosity. A delight from beginning to end! Homemade cocktails! With little Creole appetizers! Samosas and accras. The dishes were a gem! Whether it was the Réunion or Malagasy dishes, the rougails (chili peppers) were perfect! To finish, the homemade infused rums were excellent!!! 🥰🥰🥰🥰 Thank you again for this wonderful welcome! We will gladly return if we are ever in the area and we will also gladly recommend it! Thank you again Michelle Franck and Alice And Felix! Little baby who loved it!
