16/04/2026: We stumbled upon this restaurant by chance. It doesn't look like much, but we ate very well! Special mention for the vegetarian mushroom burger (our visit was in June 2025).

20/10/2025: It's not easy to rate because distinguishing between the hotel and the restaurant is like two opposites. The restaurant, we ate very well in a magnificent setting and refined dishes for an affordable price, perfect, large parking lot, I would return to the restaurants that deserve 5 stars. The hotel, inaccessible electrical outlets without contorting yourself or a non-functional outlet behind a radiator, slope above the bed to bang your head on it when you have to get up at night, the 4 parking spaces on the hotel side are small, so large and big cars should be avoided and preferably park in reverse because to get out you have to cut across the road that passes next to it, dirty shower and hot water available when it wants, broken Vlux blind, when we reported the defects here, the lady sent us ch... . That's the reason for the rating because the hotel rating lowers the restaurant rating if I average the two

23/06/2026: A very pleasant experience and a very warm welcome with a lovely snack. We hadn't booked, but the lady kindly accepted us. I highly recommend this establishment.

09/06/2026: Having been to the ones in Vienna, I'm not a fan. There wasn't much explanation or help, plus it's not very big... The Carambar candy in the drink was fine because she brought it to us, but it had already fallen in before she gave it to us. Otherwise, it's quite friendly but small; you have to be okay with being with other people. That said, I recommend it because the concept is great.

05/06/2026: The Pitsounet inn is a unique place, known for its friendly atmosphere and regional menu. I highly recommend it; it's a very good restaurant at the foot of the Sancy mountain in Auvergne, near Mont Dores. Congratulations to the new owner!

Flavor, indulgence, attentive service, the charm of the facade, the smiles of the seated customers, a touch of cocoa, a tiramisu of flavors, and I was enchanted, transported by a culinary moment, to a faraway, Italian-Clermontois place 😍

23/06/2026: A must-visit for wine lovers! A superb selection of wines from independent winemakers, consistently helpful advice, and a warm welcome. The tastings are fascinating, and the wine bar is a real bonus for discovering new vintages in a convivial atmosphere. I highly recommend it.

26/04/2026: The prices are outrageously high for frozen fries with a mealy texture and two lettuce leaves on the plate. You might as well go to the fast food place just a few steps away and pay three times less for something better. Not to mention the tasteless daily specials with their minuscule portions. The chocolate mousse has a completely artificial texture, and as for the fruit salad, don't expect fresh fruit: they serve canned "fruit," of course, just like everything else. To top it all off, the staff is intrusive and rude. If you still decide to go to this restaurant, you'll regretfully discover everything described in this review. AVOID AT ALL COSTS. There are MUCH better options in the area.

14/04/2026: First time at Kepler, a very nice experience. The owner was super friendly and the waitress was excellent. The value for money was unbeatable; we'll gladly return and I highly recommend it.

04/06/2026: This evening was particularly important to us as it was my partner's birthday. Once again, this exceptional couple of restaurateurs played a major role in making it a resounding success. In the kitchen, the chef was impeccable, without a single misstep, and the service was simply perfect from beginning to end. It wasn't our first visit, but this experience deserves special mention because the quality of the welcome, the cuisine, and the attention to detail was truly remarkable. A huge thank you to the entire team for this wonderful evening that we won't soon forget.

10/04/2026: A lovely discovery while strolling through Issoire! Drawn in by the chalkboard menu displayed in the street, we were tempted by the three dishes on offer, prepared and served by the chef right there in the dining room. :) We enjoyed an asparagus risotto with a soft-boiled egg and shiitake mushrooms (for me) and a coq au vin for my partner. Both dishes were delicious and satisfying... the chef was kind and smiling. Well done, don't change a thing! If we're ever back in Issoire, we'll definitely return.

11/06/2026: The room was spacious, spotlessly clean, and very pleasant. The mattress was particularly comfortable, which greatly contributed to the quality of our stay. Breakfast was varied and offered a wide selection. However, the food could be improved. During a multi-day stay with half-board, the lack of variety in the meals quickly became repetitive. Furthermore, the quality of the dishes did not meet our expectations: several items seemed to have been simply reheated rather than freshly prepared.

25/05/2026: Authentic cuisine, very generous portions. The aligot, the pounty, the terrine, the Saint-Nectaire fondue 😋 everything was excellent! Quality service, special mention for Jules and his good humor.

13/06/2026: Friday. 1:30 a.m. (so Saturday) This restaurant, a Proustian madeleine from my ill-fated student days, makes me reminisce about times past, not so long ago. We are in a temple of gastronomy, whether it's para-, post-, pre-, or otherwise—and even boozy! An establishment that, since the good old days of my first visit, has managed to maintain a trajectory that allows it to welcome the inebriated, but more importantly, the festive crowd. It's a place without judgment, where kindness reigns supreme for those who know how to give it, and where the land flourishes thanks to the verbena cultivated by others.

09/06/2026: We only ordered one kebab, and they offered us a TRAY of fries with mayonnaise! Excellent! We recommend it!
