We appreciated the kindness and attentiveness of the staff without being intrusive, the suggested wine pairings, the spacing between tables allowing for conversation without disturbing others, the restaurant's decor, and of course, the menu... well done, Chef! A wide selection of cheeses! We were stuffed by the petit fours! A place to discover if you're visiting Auvergne... and it's in the Michelin Guide! Best of luck to the team.

Discovering this place and meeting the people who run it was pure chance, but you know the saying, "chance favors the prepared mind." If you're ever in the area, stop by this charming and timeless spot.

09/05/2026: Stopped in for lunch. We booked our table before coming. We had the Gelat salad with Saint-Nectaire cheese and an egg. Really good, we recommend it. The white beer is also very good. Locally brewed. And a small floating island dessert to finish. Also very good. Excellent service. We recommend this restaurant 👍

26/04/2026: The prices are outrageously high for frozen fries with a mealy texture and two lettuce leaves on the plate. You might as well go to the fast food place just a few steps away and pay three times less for something better. Not to mention the tasteless daily specials with their minuscule portions. The chocolate mousse has a completely artificial texture, and as for the fruit salad, don't expect fresh fruit: they serve canned "fruit," of course, just like everything else. To top it all off, the staff is intrusive and rude. If you still decide to go to this restaurant, you'll regretfully discover everything described in this review. AVOID AT ALL COSTS. There are MUCH better options in the area.
