21/07/2026: A truly lovely experience in this charming setting. The passion fruit mojito was excellent, the banh mi sandwich was superb, and the sausage and tapenade were delicious—in short, it was all good. The little street is quiet and shaded. The service was impeccable. We'll be back.

09/06/2026: I organized a group trip for 14 people, during which we stayed for three days at the Hôtel Restaurant Le Freudeneck. The service was excellent, the food exceptionally good, and the rooms, while not modern, were adequate and tidy. The dining room is cozy. We enjoyed the large terrace when the sun was shining. The location is perfect for tours in the Vosges Mountains. We enjoyed it so much that we plan to return next year.

28/03/2026: The hotel has a really lovely spa area. The reception staff were also very friendly. The room was quite good. Only the breakfast could be improved. It doesn't really feel like a 4-star hotel 🙃 But we would still gladly come back :)

29/07/2026: La Garenne is fantastic! During a dinner, I had the pleasure of enjoying this sublime terrace with its breathtaking view of Saverne and the surrounding area. The meal was truly delicious, with high-quality dishes from appetizer to dessert. I highly recommend this place, and if you have the chance to enjoy the terrace, you won't be disappointed!

28/07/2026: We noticed that two dishes were missing their side dish (spaetzels). It would also be better if the bill were made available to the customer a little while before payment, for verification. Thank you, but otherwise everything was perfect.

12/07/2026: A little disappointed with the gourmet coffee, it was rather average. The pizzas were as good as ever, very good, the truffle one especially.

28/07/2026: Best tarte flambee I’ve had! The service was great and such a fun atmosphere with the communal counter. Order one at a time and start with a half traditional and half Muenster. We followed their recommendation and it was spot on. Then we went for the goat cheese and honey - delicious.

25/07/2026: This charming bar/restaurant serves truly fantastic tarte flambée! You sit at bar tables and can sample your way through the menu. The staff is very welcoming and you immediately feel at ease. Reservations are recommended during peak hours, but you can usually get food later in the evening. Highly recommended!

22/07/2026: I think it's great here! I've never had such a delicious beer (mango/cherry beer). It's a shame you can't get something like this in Austria. The waiters were super nice!! Thank you!! 💯

01/08/2026: We really liked this place. Sat outside during a rainstorm, it felt quite romantic. Inside is very ‘cosy’ and warm. A great menu with lots of choice and food is really good. An extra plate or bowl would be nice to combine rice and dish, especially for chopsticks. Service was the friendliest we’ve experienced and waitress spoke perfect English.

09/05/2026: La Ferme Mellon is located in the heart of the countryside near Niederbronn-les-Bains. The setting is a blend of Northern Vosges and Alsatian styles. The specialty is Alsatian tarte flambée, offered in all its variations. The restaurant has a rustic style, with stone walls and half-timbering, a wooden bar, and a magnificent wood-fired oven at the far end of the room. I've never eaten such delicious tarte flambée. It was very generously topped, and the wood-fired cooking was absolutely perfect. Thank you to the owner! 😁 The service was provided by a very kind and friendly waitress. The prices are reasonable. In short, a fantastic evening. I highly recommend it.

01/07/2026: Loved everything here, from the service to the food. We came to visit with two dogs and despite it being a busy day we got a nice table and water for the dogs. Thank you! We chose the all you can eat thingy and it was so worth it.
