13/03/2026: Excellent evening at the restaurant in Obernai! We had a wonderful evening at a truly successful themed event. The carbonara prepared in a Parmesan wheel was simply extraordinary. The service was impeccable and very attentive. I also regularly eat there during the week, and the daily specials are always excellent. Another great feature: there's always plenty of parking thanks to their large lot. I highly recommend this place!

29/03/2026: Reservation at 8 pm at Tankstell, hoping to discover a good Winstub. A promising start: a pleasant welcome, friendly aperitif service. But what followed was incomprehensible. The dish was served cold—not lukewarm, cold. I pointed this out, the plate was taken away… and disappeared. More than 30 minutes of waiting without any information, no apology, no follow-up, nothing, just a complete void. So much so that a waiter later came to clear my table, surprised that I didn't have a plate in front of me. Meanwhile, my mother finished her meal, and I waited. Until the moment they offered to… reheat her half-eaten plate “while” I waited for mine. Surreal. Enough is enough. We left the restaurant after paying the bill. Result: an evening paid for, but without dinner. Mistakes happen. On the other hand, a complete lack of management, communication, and consideration is much harder to accept. Judging by the reviews, this experience is clearly perplexing. I won't be going back.

11/04/2026: Fantastic experience! We came at lunchtime, which made the restaurant quieter. But it seems to fill up much faster in the evening. The dining room is small, but the atmosphere is friendly. The service is warm and attentive! We ordered a starter and a main course to share because the portions seemed quite generous. The dishes were delicious and very flavorful! I highly recommend it.

10/04/2026: Exquisite cuisine and the best naans I've ever had. I ordered the masala mix; the sauce and spices were delicious. I would have just liked the lamb cooked a little longer, but that didn't detract from the dish's overall succulence. I highly recommend Madras.

06/04/2026: We had a couple of Tarte Flambée and they were ok. The crust is homemade which is very nice but for us it could have been a little more topping. The service was good and the ambience is typical Alsacien.

06/04/2026: The tarte flambée was absolutely delicious. We thoroughly enjoyed it. The only slight downside was the snide remarks and innuendos made by the waitress, even though the restaurant was half empty and we were very careful not to upset her. A shame.

17/03/2026: A true highlight – I would have given it six stars if I could! As soon as you open the door, you feel like you've stepped back in time to the 1950s. The ambiance is absolutely perfect and exudes a very special charm. The burgers are simply excellent. You can immediately taste that only fresh ingredients are used – the meat was perfect, the vegetables crisp. The fries also deserve special praise: freshly prepared, hot, and perfectly crispy, just as they should be! The service: We were greeted by a super friendly employee whose warm manner made our visit perfect. It's great how everyone comes together here: students, working people on their lunch break, and tourists all sit together in a colorful mix. An absolute hidden gem! If I could, I would give it more than five stars.
