25/07/2026: Everything was great! 👌 Fast and friendly service 😀 I tried the daily menu five days in a row and was never disappointed. The ice cream sundaes are excellent 🤩 my favorite is the Vosgienne 🥰 Try it!!!! The Marleu is so easy to drink. 😜 If I go back to Arthur Metz, I'll definitely go back!!! Everything was perfect 👌 No complaints at all!!! A great opportunity to try delicious French food. 😋

29/05/2026: We ordered a kebab and a yufka with white sauce, but there wasn't any. Plus, the kebab was way too spicy. The same thing happened with the fries; we asked for mayonnaise and ketchup, and there were barely two drops of either. One thing's for sure: we won't be back.

26/07/2026: We felt comfortable from the very first moment. The food was delicious and flavorful, and the portions were just right. We especially enjoyed the exquisite desserts. The staff was consistently friendly, attentive, and cheerful. When I asked, they recommended a wine to complement my meal—a recommendation that was spot on. The service was attentive, and we didn't have to wait long for our food. The cozy atmosphere also made our visit a truly enjoyable experience. 01/08/2026: We come to this restaurant regularly, especially for its Alsatian specialties. My husband loves the baeckeoffe and the ham hock braised in beer, while I really enjoy the tarte flambée. The drinks are less expensive than in other restaurants. The restaurant's atmosphere is surprising, but I find it cool. The owner and his waitress are very kind. I almost forgot the delicious goat cheese salad. There's a large terrace when it's not raining.

19/05/2026: I thoroughly enjoyed the salmon, rice, and vegetables—yum! It was absolutely delicious. 🥰🥰 I was planning to come back to try the tarte flambée with a nice pint, but unfortunately, something unexpected came up. As for the atmosphere, I was alone, so my opinion doesn't really count. 🤣 I highly recommend it.

03/06/2026: First experience at this Hohwald restaurant for a family lunch. We were warmly welcomed by smiling and attentive staff. The overall atmosphere was cozy and pleasant. The dishes were beautifully presented, tasty, and clearly prepared with care. Unfortunately, one detail significantly marred this otherwise positive impression. The small salad accompanying the fried food was particularly meager, and any additional portion was charged at €2.50. For a bill of €180 for four people, charging this extra for a few leaves of salad feels stingy and difficult to understand. It's a shame, because up until that point, everything was going very well. This small, inconsistent gesture ultimately overshadowed the rest of the experience. For this reason, despite the aforementioned positive aspects, I don't plan to return.

25/05/2026: The location is lovely. We went to the restaurant and were very disappointed by the small portions (vegetarian spritzes) and the small size of the Aperol spritz (18cl) for 7/8 euros. Walk 100 meters further up the road and you'll find another inn where 30cl of spritz costs 6.50 euros.

15/06/2026: We came for dinner on Sunday evening; the dishes were excellent and very generous. Very good service and reasonable prices. Special mention for the homemade vol-au-vent and spaetzle 😋

07/06/2026: We visited the Alsace-Moselle memorial site nearby and were recommended this restaurant. The service and the food were excellent. We received a warm welcome. Communication took place in German, English, and French. The atmosphere was cozy, and the tables were beautifully set. It was a thoroughly enjoyable restaurant visit.

27/07/2026: During a hike, we stopped here hoping for a delicious meal and refreshing drinks. We sat down, and the tables around us were being served. After more than 10 minutes without being offered a menu or asked what we wanted to order, we went inside and asked if we could order something. This was refused, as they only serve guests who have ordered. If that's the case, they could have said so from the start – no problem. Instead, we were ignored and rudely turned away. We would have loved to have a meal here. Unfortunately, the only advice is to avoid this place and spend your money elsewhere, where they actually care about their customers.

17/07/2026: Good traditional cuisine made with local products. Starter: ultra-fresh and flavorful crudités, accompanied by two slices of homemade terrine (country pâté and meat terrine with blueberries), plus a slice of homemade smoked ham. Followed by a pot of incredibly tender potatoes and a very succulent and delicious roast beef. For dessert, several options including blueberry tarts, kirsch-soaked sieskaes, ice cream, etc. A small, intimate dining room, cool and sheltered from the heatwave... Friendly and efficient service. A very nice place with a beautiful view.

25/05/2026: Another wonderful evening at Le Vieux Pressoir in Itterswiller. As always, we received a very warm welcome from Aubin and the owner. It was especially lovely that they even knew my name. 😊 We enjoyed it so much that we went back twice. The meat was excellent, the asparagus perfectly prepared, and the strawberry ice cream was also delicious. The atmosphere in the courtyard during the summer is simply magnificent and makes the experience even more special. Keep up the good work, we'll be back with great pleasure!

14/06/2026: Excellent food! The owner is a true wine connoisseur of all categories! Go without hesitation! They have a meat aging cellar! Rib steaks aged to a different level, incredibly delicious! 👍👍👍

29/05/2026: Mixed review: the cordon bleu was good but the fries were undercooked. For a restaurant of this caliber, fries are a basic requirement.
