17/05/2026: A wonderful time at Chez Youpel! We ordered two sauerkraut dishes, and they were truly excellent: very generous portions, with perfectly cooked, high-quality meat. Both the cabbage and the potatoes were superb; we thoroughly enjoyed our meal from start to finish. To accompany our meal, we tried two spring beers, which were also very good and paired perfectly with the sauerkraut. And to top it all off, the desserts were also excellent! Special mention goes to the waitress, who was absolutely lovely throughout the entire meal: welcoming, smiling, and very attentive. Her warm welcome made the meal even more enjoyable. A truly wonderful place that we highly recommend. Be sure to make a reservation! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

21/04/2026: MOVE ALONG, WE WANT TO CLOSE!!! What kind of management is this that painfully gives you a table at 9:20 PM on a Friday night and tells you to eat quickly? And these servers who practically throw you out without dessert, bringing you your main course while you still have the spring roll in your mouth? I love this restaurant and its excellent food, but as a regular, I'm fed up with not being able to enjoy a peaceful dinner. This kind of behavior is not worthy of a proper restaurant!!!

25/04/2026: Passing through Momenheim, it had been a long time since I'd stopped by the pastry shop. I'd forgotten how good it was. A real treat for the taste buds. The welcome is warm, the staff pleasant. Saturday at 3:30 pm, the staff's smiles are a delight ☀️💖 The strawberry tart and the exotic tart are delicious. It's worth the detour 😊

15/05/2026: Very good tarte flambée. I seem to recall seeing that their Munster cheese tart was the most famous, but to be honest, the classic one is definitely worth trying. We weren't blown away by the Munster one, but it was still quite enjoyable. The setting is very pleasant, the exterior is beautiful. The interior follows the Alsatian theme (which makes sense, really), I just found the lighting a bit disappointing. It was very dim, which I didn't find very inviting. Depending on the time of year (and events), I recommend making a reservation. The day we went, it seemed that all the tables were booked, leaving little room for last-minute adventurers.

02/06/2026: Last Sunday morning, during my hike, I spontaneously stopped by the hotel and asked about breakfast. That wasn't a problem at all; the staff responded quickly and easily, warmly inviting me to stay. So I was able to help myself to the buffet, just like the other overnight guests. What surprised me even more was the price of €14. I thought that was very fair. The Anthon is a well-maintained hotel that combines old-world charm with a modern ambiance. Hospitality is clearly a priority, without feeling forced. Thank you again for the warm welcome.

The service is always outstanding, especially considering how challenging it can be with a large group! Thank you. The interior is lovely, and the courtyard is very pleasant in the summer.

30/04/2026: An excellent restaurant in a small village, a real gem you wouldn't necessarily expect to find here. The owner is exceptionally kind, welcoming, down-to-earth, and very attentive—it makes all the difference. As for the food, it's top-notch. The Peking duck is exceptional, worthy of anything you'd find in China, perfectly executed. You can tell everything is done with care and expertise. The side dishes aren't just additions, but truly elaborate dishes, cooked with precision and skill. The cooking is impeccable, the textures are well-balanced, and above all, the flavors... they explode in your mouth. The spices are perfectly measured, and when they're spicy, they really bring out the best in you without overpowering the other flavors. You eat very well, in generous portions, for a more than reasonable price. An address to remember and recommend without hesitation.

15/05/2026: Honestly, I was very disappointed with McDonald's. The wait was interminable, which is clearly unacceptable for a fast-food restaurant. I literally had time to watch all my friends finish their meals while I was still waiting for mine… great atmosphere when you're the only one with nothing on your table. On top of that, there was no real apology or gesture of goodwill despite the enormous delay. Their organization needs a complete overhaul, especially during peak hours. I don't think I'll be back anytime soon.

09/05/2026: I'm fed up with this team. One out of three is absolutely impossible—the one with the short, bespectacled manager. She wouldn't give me a plastic spoon because I can't stand eating with a wooden one; it gives me a rash. All the dishes tonight were completely disposable. We ordered cheeseburgers and got hamburgers; it's always a disaster when it's this team. There wasn't even any ice for a Saturday night in this heat—frankly, a complete failure! Sorry to Aurélie, my favorite, the tall one with short hair, and the other gentleman, always so helpful and friendly (I also asked him for a plastic spoon, which he kindly gave me), because it brings the bill down for everyone. But at some point, you have to speak up. Next time, I'll turn right around if I see this manager again. If you could change this mentality, that would be great, and it wouldn't spoil the experience we're paying for. So, I left my ice cream without dessert. Thanks, Madam Manager.
