11/12/2025: Worst McDonald's in Strasbourg. The staff are incredibly unfriendly and always annoyed as soon as you ask for anything. The fries are always cold and consistently worse than at other nearby McDonald's. When you simply ask them not to put something in your burger, they put it in anyway, and if you tell them, they don't care, you just get turned away. And on top of all that, it's always dirty.

10/12/2025: Shocked!!! I ordered potatoes with cheddar cheese, the box was empty, 10 bland pieces of potato – I've never experienced that before! I paid for a Coke with extra tax, and I received watered-down Coke! Considering the price, you're better off going to the corner store!

11/02/2026: Emir offered us a wonderful tasting of a new product. Emir was very friendly and welcoming. The product itself was also a great discovery.

10/02/2026: Order errors are unfortunately frequent: missing items or the wrong ones, especially sauces, which are almost always forgotten. The most problematic aspect is the difficulty some staff members have in acknowledging these mistakes, which unnecessarily complicates the complaint process. As for the service, friendliness clearly leaves much to be desired, with the exception of two truly fantastic managers who raise the bar. Otherwise, it sometimes feels as if sauces and napkins are deducted from their pay, and that basic greetings like "hello," "thank you," or "have a nice day" are simply not part of their vocabulary. When you point out a problem with your order, you're often treated as if you're at fault, when all you're trying to do is get what you paid for. At nearly €15 for a set menu, it seems reasonable to expect good value for money. It's a shame, because with a little more attention to detail and customer service, the experience could be much better.

12/01/2026: The service was absolutely terrible, the pizzas were super greasy with so much semolina underneath, it has absolutely nothing to do with a pizzeria, try telling that to a pizza maker, if you want to eat it's fine, if you want to enjoy a pizza... go somewhere else.

01/11/2025: We ordered several pizzas for delivery, including a four-cheese pizza... On the phone, we weren't told it would have almonds on it. Even after removing them, the taste was still there, and the person didn't eat it. Really disappointed by this oversight. Yet it wasn't the first time we'd ordered this four-cheese pizza.

31/01/2026: If you enjoy surprises and logistical challenges, this restaurant is for you. We had booked "The Den" for 10 people at 7 pm. Arriving at 6:50 pm, we were delighted to discover that our table was already occupied and that the staff had no intention of moving the current occupants. The most impressive part? The waiter proudly showed us the sticky note with our reservation on the counter. He remembered us perfectly well, but apparently, memory is no substitute for a table. To top it all off, we were asked to wait 15 minutes in the cold to get… a table for 6. For 10 people, this is a bold concept of human interaction. A customer experience I would only recommend to those who enjoy drafts and rough calculations.

07/01/2026: There was very little sauce in this pasta dish, which ultimately offered poor value for money; I should have read the previous reviews. The only positive: it was served quickly.

26/11/2025: I highly recommend this restaurant, run by two brothers who are always smiling and on the ball. The service is always between 2 and 3 minutes maximum, even during peak hours, which is a huge advantage compared to the many other restaurants nearby. Pasta Gusto offers a wide selection of homemade sauces, sure to delight customers whenever the opportunity arises.

15/01/2026: I discovered the Il Forno restaurant. I arrived at 1:20 PM and received a very warm welcome. They served my pizza 10 minutes after I ordered. The pizza was delicious! I highly recommend it! 👌🏻

20/02/2026: Outrageous. They open your bags and try to touch your personal items without asking for a permission and without using any gloves. When you object to that they call you aggressive. Unprofessional and completely useless security theater.

01/02/2026: We went back after 5 years, but my opinion hasn't changed. The tarte flambée had an indescribable crust, too much cream, in short, I didn't taste anything like tarte flambée. The staff still hadn't managed to smile, too miserable to be working, one person behind the bar who was bored, two waitresses wandering around and not necessarily asking what we wanted to eat. The only positive point was that the aperitif was taken quickly. So, still disappointed. We won't be going back.

24/01/2026: A very warm welcome, efficient service, and tasty cuisine with local Alsatian dishes but not only, and above all open on Mondays, a rarity in Haguenau!

30/12/2025: The setting is lovely; it's quite unusual to be in the opera house for brunch, with its high ceilings and relatively few tables, making the space feel pleasant. The service was average: a rather inattentive and almost nonchalant waiter. We waited an hour and 25 minutes to be served, even though there were only four of us and we ordered the standard menu, which consisted largely of cold dishes, so there was no justification for such a long wait. The quality is acceptable for €30, but given the location, one expects better (concentrated orange juice from a carton, mass-produced pastries, etc.), even if it means paying a few euros more. One positive point: a nice selection of teas, which were very good.

28/12/2025: The atmosphere was icy, and not just because of the temperature. The restaurant was clearly closed for holidays after our visit, but still: no more beer, half the menu unavailable, no desserts, and they wouldn't accept our lunch menu... In short! A waitress was juggling service and cooking (she was friendly, though) while the owner was busy drinking at the bar... We waited and waited and waited...! Cold sausages, potato salad that looked like it came straight from a pre-made container, two tiny pieces of avocado in the sandwich, and warm apple juice that had clearly been brewing for days... We chose this restaurant over the baguettes from the Christmas market... What a disappointment!

19/10/2025: We've eaten here several times; the ambiance is perfect, and the service is all very attentive and customer-friendly. It's also no problem eating here with young children.

11/12/2025: The staff is very friendly and wants you to have a pleasant stay. It's a shame the rooms are outdated; I was bitten by bedbugs. Management was informed of the situation and did nothing. I find this appalling and strongly advise against staying here.

10/12/2025: I booked a room online for two nights, requesting a wheelchair-accessible room. On the day of arrival, I couldn't even get into the room in my wheelchair. The wheelchair wouldn't fit through the bathroom. At €160 a night, it's outrageous. They're treating people with contempt, all because it's the Strasbourg Christmas market and they're fully booked anyway. Thank goodness the market lasts a month...
