02/04/2026: Today I found the Asia box from a few years ago... the pieces of beef are back in the spicy beef!!!! No more tiny bits drowned in the onions (you could really look for them).. I appreciate finding this quality again and so does my husband. Continue with this goal. We are loyal customers.

30/04/2026: An unusual spot, perfect for relaxing on the sunny terrace on a Sunday. Numerous concerts take place on Fridays and Saturdays. Definitely worth checking out. The only downside is the price of cocktails, between €8 and €11, practically as expensive as in the heart of Bordeaux.

05/05/2026: I came on Thursday, April 30th. A heavyset man at reception greeted me without even saying hello, not even a smile. He took my ID for verification and was extremely unpleasant! I spoke with some regulars and learned that this is his usual behavior! It really puts you off completely! There's a strong smell of tobacco inside, and people are vaping! For non-smokers, it would be good if the laws, which apply to everyone, were enforced!

21/02/2026: A very nice restaurant, there were six of us and everyone enjoyed their meal. It's quite intimate, not many tables, so I think it's best to book. The welcome, service and atmosphere were very good, and the prices were very reasonable.

10/03/2026: Excellent pizzeria! The pizzas are delicious, generously topped, and always very tasty. The service is incredibly friendly. They also offer other dishes like paella and various specialties, as well as appetizers, which is a really nice touch. On Friday evenings, the food truck parks in front of the shop, creating a lovely, relaxed atmosphere for drinks. It's a place we love to visit and highly recommend!

10/03/2026: This isn't our first time at this place, which is brimming with excellent dishes and products for sale: paella, charcuterie, cheese. A food truck on Friday evenings (when the sun is shining!) allowed us to meet people from Le Pian and chat about various local topics, among other things. Our last purchase: two pizzas. They were absolutely delicious, both the crust and the toppings. The pizzas were incredibly generously filled with perfect ingredients.

25/04/2026: While the staff were amazing and incredibly helpful, the breakfast was disappointing for a four-star establishment. The dining area is cramped, and the food selection is quite limited. Most frustratingly, there is an extra charge for basic items like poached eggs or omelettes—which is unacceptable when paying for a premium room.

13/04/2026: Hungry while visiting St. Emilion we chanced upon this jewel of a dining experience. As it was lunch time we chose the 3 course menu, which eventually turned into a 5 course experience. Super friendly, professional and experienced staff enhanced the experience. The food was absolutely amazing, from the amuse bouche to entree, main dish, cheese and dessert. If only it would be closer to Thailand it would become regular spot for us. Merci beaucoup

30/12/2025: The setting is remarkable and we enjoyed our lunch. Two points of disappointment: it was far too cold in the dining room and the price of the estate's wines was very disappointing (a white wine costing €40 in the shop was billed at €115 in the restaurant).

29/12/2025: I think this is truly the best, or one of the top three restaurants in Bordeaux. Everything is perfect, from the welcome and service to the delicious, expertly prepared dishes. There's really nothing to criticize. Bravo to the whole team! Thank you, keep up the good work! We come back from time to time and we love it!

14/05/2026: I read a message about the Spa and wanted to share my experience. The "Spa" has been moved to another building, or rather, two treatment rooms in the middle of the fitness equipment (thankfully no one came to work out while I was being treated!). For my birthday, I treated myself to a 2-hour escape with a massage and a facial. The massage began, and the room was cold, the massage table wasn't heated, and neither was the massage oil! I'm very familiar with Clarins protocols, and I can't tell you how disappointed I was. The therapist was very professional; it's a shame she hadn't filed her nails, it would have been more pleasant. Luckily, the quality of the Clarins products makes up for it. It wasn't my first time here, but who knows, maybe it will be my last…

10/05/2026: We stayed 4 days/3 nights at the Hotel Côté Sable in May 2026. We had an excellent stay. Here is a detailed review of our experience. ***Positive points: - The rooms are quite spacious with ample wardrobe storage and beautiful high ceilings. - The pleasant scent that permeates the entire hotel thanks to the Clarins spa. - The perfect temperature of the jacuzzi (this is rare enough to be worth mentioning!) ***Tips and tricks: I'm sharing these here because the staff doesn't communicate much, so we discovered these things by chance! - The breakfast buffet only offers bottled juices. They don't mention it, but you can get freshly squeezed orange juice upon request. :) - Access (or several accesses, we're not entirely sure...) to the jacuzzi is included for all stays booked directly (this isn't mentioned anywhere, but it's a nice surprise!). ***Negative points: - The lack of attention from the staff (often young and inexperienced). For example, at our third breakfast, the waiters still didn't recognize us! (Even though there are only 15 rooms in the hotel and no waiter turnover during the morning shift.) However, I would like to thank the young man with curly hair and a goatee who had a knack for recognizing faces, anticipating needs, and did an excellent job. - The promised bathroom was actually just a shower room (goodbye to the expected bathtub). - The breakfast was quite disappointing for the price. Don't expect freshly boiled eggs or eggs Benedict. Only scrambled eggs (presumably pre-packaged) are offered as a self-service option. - Some rather unclassy extra charges, for example: €5/day/bike to park your own bicycle on the hotel grounds! - The spa setting isn't amazing… (the services, however, are very good); I'm thinking in particular of the jacuzzi with its dirty cover hanging over you. Not very glamorous… - Contrary to what the website suggests, the hotel isn't beachfront, and there's a road between the hotel terrace and the beach. Double-parked cars sometimes block the view :(
