02/10/2026: A great opportunity to try different wines.

29/09/2026: What a special place this is. We stumbled across this wine bar late evening. We were greeted with a warm welcome and an explanation of how the wine system works. Essentially there are loads of wines that you can buy by the glass. It’s a self service system. You can either have a small taster, small glass or large glass. We sampled the entire range of French red wines, of which there are about 12. They also have a similar number of other world wines. Despite having had dinner, we had to try the charcuterie board and boy we were not disappointed. It was delicious! We spent about €60 on food and wine. Great service, great variety of wines and great food. What more can you ask for.

09/09/2026: This restaurant is simply AMAZING! Located on a street corner with a lovely view of Saint Andrew's Cathedral, this spot offers the perfect opportunity for contemplation and observing the hustle and bustle of Bordeaux. The food was a real treat! The calamari was so good it made my sister blush, cooked to perfection. The service was impeccable and incredibly kind. The owner is a huge fan of The Cure and has a vast musical knowledge. It's a place where Paul Auster would have loved to enjoy a coffee on the terrace. Thank you and congratulations to the whole team!

23/08/2026: Located on the banks of the Garonne, this restaurant is pleasant both inside and on the terrace. The food is good, very good indeed, with dishes that combine subtle flavors and are beautifully presented. Kudos to Chef Aurelien for that! The service is friendly and efficient. I highly recommend it!

22/08/2026: A wonderful evening spent at the very friendly brasserie "La Belle Rose." Delicious dishes await you there. From appetizers to desserts, there's something to awaken your taste buds. A very friendly team, with a touch of excellence from Chef Aurélien.

24/07/2026: The best caneles in Bordeaux. Whoever thinks different is confused. Great crunch. Great sweetness. Other places give you chewy, soft overly rum-tasting pastries. Cassonade nails it. Perfect composition. To me, it is not even a comparison to other places.

21/05/2026: We had just arrived with my friend, and we felt like we were bothering them. We spoke to a waiter (blond with curly hair) asking if we could eat (on 21/05 at 3pm). He answered from a distance, saying "didn't understand." I asked him again, and he replied, "still didn't understand." Not even a hello. I can tell you we quickly turned around; it's unheard of.

19/05/2026: We had a wonderful time, with a splendid ocean view and excellent quality and quantity of food. The service was quick and efficient, thank you Jeanne! Excellent value for money, we'll be back.

26/08/2026: My first lunch in France! I was taken here by a colleague! It was incredibly delicious, the portions were generous, and the staff were of Asian descent, making for a very enjoyable meal! I'd love to come again! Thank you for the meal! The restaurant didn't have air conditioning, so I, being Japanese, was sweating profusely while I ate.

She took the time to explain everything, served us quickly, and made the experience truly enjoyable. I also had the chance to watch her train a colleague who seemed new, with great gentleness, patience, and skill. It's so nice to see someone so caring and professional. 01/10/2026: Ate very tasty pizzas, friendly service

06/09/2026: I was expecting that woman's unpleasant comment tonight... or at least I thought it would be the gentleman who cut in front of me in line, without even apologizing, of course, who would have had the nerve to make the comment himself, just like I heard him grumbling at the register. It's a shame I can't leave a comment related to this, so I'm writing a separate one. For context, some people had placed a takeaway order and then changed their minds, and this man, who cut in line to pay, upon learning he couldn't sit at a table with his group, decided against ordering a drink on his own, even though cold bottles and cans were available for purchase. These people hadn't originally planned to eat in, and it was a busy evening due to the festival, which drew a large crowd—and I should point out that this is a very popular annual event. This is generally the case at festive events near restaurants with outdoor seating: tables are reserved for customers who indicated when ordering that they would be eating in. In short, upon hearing this at the register, I was eagerly anticipating this comment, and I'm not surprised there was no context. I refrained from making a scene about being cut in line simply because it was busy (other people were waiting behind me), but upon hearing the mumbled "I'm going to leave a comment, we're being treated very badly" while the pizzeria staff were handling orders and had their backs turned for a moment, I feel compelled to make amends here because I find the whole thing disrespectful. If the person had waited patiently in line to pay and it hadn't been combined with this evening's negative comment, I would never have had to seize this opportunity to set the record straight. I regularly order pizzas from La Bonne Pâte, I have always appreciated the quality of the pizzas, the service and the atmosphere, I warmly recommend it.

24/09/2026: This small restaurant in the historic city center is very welcoming. We had oysters, beef cheek in cider sauce, veal Milanese, and strawberry soup for dessert. Everything was very well prepared, flavorful, and full of deliciousness. The waitresses and the chef were lovely and gave us great recommendations.
