24/06/2025: Let's start at the beginning. We came for dinner. The variety of sandwiches is great, unless you're vegetarian or vegan, but what did you expect? The waitress, probably overwhelmed, greeted us coldly and took our order. She was on the verge of insulting us when we didn't understand her question, "What variety?" It was about the bread. The sandwiches are made with ingredients that have been sitting on the counter all day. Nothing is fresh. Consequently, the taste is terribly average. Same goes for the cookies—which we were forced to order since they no longer served fries, chips, or mac & cheese, as advertised. In short, I wanted to change my habits, but I shouldn't have.

04/09/2024: I find the negative 1 star comments very very harsh. Came at 3 for lunch in September, the entrecôtes were good, good proportion of fries. The service is fast and the servers are pleasant.

03/09/2024: Too bad because the place is great, tavern decor, spacious, great for groups and children. Extremely long service, for oysters without the shells inside it's better.. ok it can happen but within 24 what's the matter! Expensive price for the quality and quantity. It was an experience to have but too sideways.

09/12/2024: An experience to live, the meats are of very good quality and therefore delicious and the service is friendly. Minimum 4 people for a table, I advise you to remember to warn in advance if people do not eat meat so that they anticipate.

10/07/2025: Arrived at 7:40 p.m., served at 9:15 p.m.!!! Dry roasted Camembert. The manager is looking down on us, blaming his waiters!!! Run away as quickly as possible.

28/08/2024: Nice decor and good atmosphere in a country spirit. Welcome and friendly staff, fast service. I enjoyed the Mexican octopus, the salmon was also excellent. On the other hand, the low rib was not good (nervous meat), the fries were not cooked and the duck breast fillet was just in quantity. We had a good evening nonetheless.

03/11/2024: Wir haben Foie Gras und Lamm jeweils zum Teilen bestestellt. Auf der Rechnung fanden wir dann 11 Euro mehr für einen zweiten Teller. Das ist schon heftig! Die Folie Gras war gut aber für 22 Euro homöopathisch, Kommentar Besitzer:"was gut ist ist eben wenig!" Das Lamm war mit einer sehr guten Sauce und Kartoffelpüree, es war ein Stück vom Gigot, ohne sonstige Beilagen und wenig, 39 Euro, schon heftig. Der Besitzer war sehr oberflächlich, wie man eben Massentouristen behandelt, die Frau war korrekter aber bei unserer Reklamation dann doch auch sehr unangenehm. Wir werden dieses Restaurant nicht mehr besuchen, zumal es mit dem Clos de Mirande das beste Restaurant gibt, das wir in der Gegend kennen.

06/10/2024: On nous a recommandé ce restaurant lors d'une escapade à Saint Émilion. Et quel plaisir !!! Le soleil ☀️ était au rendez-vous, les propriétaires nous ont gentiment proposé une table en terrasse dans un cadre verdoyant et reposant. Un pur plaisir 🥰 Ensuite nous avons pu déguster des plats copieux et délicieux. Nous avons passé un très bon moment culinaire dans un lieu chaleureux et accueillant. Nous y reviendrons très prochainement.

10/09/2024: I’ve been coming here over many years as it’s a great location to stop for a coffee or light lunch and people watch. But oh dear pricing has gone crazy and quality is average at generous best. A cappuccino for €7.50 is in a price league that I’ve never seen anywhere before. And no it’s not a large cup.

08/09/2024: Le service était excellent jusqu’à l’addition! Gin tonic a 16 euros et en 2 lignes: une petite bouteille de tonic a 3 , 50 euros. En disant que c’est trop cher, le serveur nous a dit que c’est comme à Paris🤷🏼‍♀️! En sortant une serveuse qui aller trop vite nous à renverser Monaco sur les chaussures sans s’excuser, elle repartie pour chercher un autre Monaco😫
