24/07/2026: The best caneles in Bordeaux. Whoever thinks different is confused. Great crunch. Great sweetness. Other places give you chewy, soft overly rum-tasting pastries. Cassonade nails it. Perfect composition. To me, it is not even a comparison to other places.

21/05/2026: We had just arrived with my friend, and we felt like we were bothering them. We spoke to a waiter (blond with curly hair) asking if we could eat (on 21/05 at 3pm). He answered from a distance, saying "didn't understand." I asked him again, and he replied, "still didn't understand." Not even a hello. I can tell you we quickly turned around; it's unheard of.

19/05/2026: We had a wonderful time, with a splendid ocean view and excellent quality and quantity of food. The service was quick and efficient, thank you Jeanne! Excellent value for money, we'll be back.

02/08/2026: Hello, we ordered two all-you-can-eat mussels and fries. The mussels were boiled and the clams were brittle from being stirred so much. The fries weren't the best either. I ordered a profiterole; the top of the choux pastry tasted burnt and was very dry. As a result, we weren't very satisfied with our meal. We won't be back, sorry.

08/08/2026: Excellent food. Exceptional and delicious pizzas. Very generous pasta dish.

07/08/2026: We were surprised by the pizza dough, which didn't resemble traditional dough; it was crispy, thin, and seemed to be cooked in oil. The toppings were good, but the dough quickly became cloying.

23/07/2026: My sister and I came for lunch on Monday and we both ordered the mussels and fries. We were delighted with the quality of the dish: the mussels were absolutely delicious, accompanied by beautiful fresh vegetables, and the fries were also very good. I would also like to highlight the excellent service we received. We particularly appreciated the kindness, smile, and professionalism of the tall young man at the ice cream stand, as well as the young woman who took our payment. Both were very pleasant, smiling, and attentive, which greatly contributed to making our experience very enjoyable. A big thank you to the entire team for the warm welcome, the quality of the service, and the delicious food. We had a wonderful time and will definitely be back! We highly recommend this establishment! 😊

Thank you for the warm welcome, see you next year! 💪☀️🥳♥️ Backup: A restaurant right next to the beach, just before the dunes, perfect for enjoying a spit-roasted ham. Whether you're a sauerkraut fan or not, I've heard it's excellent. I recommend it, I had a great time, the prices are really reasonable. Great servers and a very warm welcome. Until next time.

20/07/2026: A pleasant evening with colleagues at Le Zinc, with its lovely back terrace. Good dinner. One small drawback: when I ordered a rum, I wasn't given a choice from the menu, even though they have a good selection. I recommend it.

08/07/2026: The staff here were so friendly and smiley, it made the experience so much nicer. Most of us had steak and there was a very good selection of sauces to accompany it. Food was good too. The venue itself was nice and atmospheric, and made for a relaxed enjoyable evening.

06/07/2026: I am sure this is a great restaurant for pizzas, and for the locals. But I wouldn't recommend it for foreign visitors. We had visited a local wine maker, which was really around the corner of this place, and on a day that not many restaurants are open. Landed at Chez Chris, and they were very busy with take outs. We were quite patient but after an hour there was still no meal in sight. As we had to move on to another meeting, we started asking. Ended up with 'taking our meal on the go', and in the car found out it was close to not eatable. Very mediocre burger (not well cooked), cold fries and a poor salade. Threw most of it away. Not realy the highlight of our day ...... If you're from another country, better avoid this place.
