30/09/2026: Good afternoon, My mother and I went to this restaurant for lunch because it looked nice from the outside. But to our surprise, we had an unpleasant experience. The first thing I asked the waiter was for a table for two, and then I asked where the restroom was. Since I don't speak French, I tried my best to express myself in English. The waiter who served us was dismissive and raised his voice, telling us there were no restrooms in the restaurant and rudely ushering us outside, telling us to go to the tourist office. Although it could have been a misunderstanding due to the language barrier, I doubt there really were no restrooms in the restaurant. I do not recommend this place because the customer service was appalling. The waiter showed a great deal of contempt for the customers. I have attached a photo of the facade so you know which restaurant I'm referring to.

10/08/2026: The menu offers excellent value for money. The dishes are superb, generous, and beautifully presented—a feast for the eyes and the palate. The staff are friendly and attentive. The terrace is lovely, and its decor, as well as the interior, is very well done.

04/08/2026: What a disappointment! This place was fantastic a few years ago. Now, the wait is endless, the service is subpar, especially considering the exorbitant menu prices. We won't be going back!

27/08/2026: The owner was fantastic; we had a wonderful time in this warm and friendly bistro. The Picon/beer and Bazas spritz were excellent. It's a shame we didn't get to try the food (so I can't rate it), especially the real Bazas beef, not just cow's milk ;-)

18/11/2025: Best Asian restaurant in Bordeaux in terms of value for money! And the food is excellent! Obviously, the ingredients aren't top-of-the-line, but given the prices, it's justified. There's a wide selection, and it's never disappointing! Always delicious. The bo bun is particularly good, perhaps my favorite in Bordeaux. And thank you to the staff for making this restaurant such a welcoming place! You'll always receive a warm welcome, and the owner won't hesitate to give you little gifts :) I've missed this restaurant since it closed for renovations. I'm really looking forward to the reopening.

04/09/2026: We had a fantastic dinner; the food was delicious and it's the best kebab we've had in years, not to mention the service was very friendly. The desserts were amazing. We were with someone who has celiac disease and she was able to eat without any problems. We will definitely be back.

01/09/2026: Very disappointed by the value for money. A regrettable culinary experience at Les Viviers. I ordered the octopus à la carte (around €34): the piece was tough and the portion was extremely small. A very unpleasant dish and far too expensive for what was provided. It's a shame, the bill was particularly steep for what was on the plate. On a positive note, the profiteroles were delicious 😋

08/08/2026: Disappointed with La Toque Cuivrée. Every week I buy a chocolate fondant for my neurodivergent son, who only eats this particular one from this brand. Yesterday, I returned one that was inedible (hard lumps in the batter). They photographed it, made calls, but no refund, no offer of an exchange… They said they'd call me back (I'm still waiting)… We're talking €5.99!!! What fantastic customer service! 🙈🙈🙈
