11/12/2025: We arrived after 9 pm following a show at the cathedral. We were greeted with a smile, were able to eat despite the late hour, and had a generous meal for a reasonable price: two Savoyard veal escalopes, two Pessac-Léognan wines, and two coffees for under €50. We'll definitely keep your address in mind for our next trip to Bordeaux.

06/01/2026: We received excellent service at the shop. We chose the duck Parmentier as a daily special. Heavy and delicious.

19/06/2025: I stopped for a pack of cigarettes and a coke, and a gentleman greeted me at 10 a.m. with a great welcome. I didn't have a lighter, so he gave me one and sat me down on the terrace. It's a really nice terrace, and I'll gladly come and try the restaurant.

15/05/2025: For me, the best restaurant in Gradignan, quite simply. The daily menu is always very good and varied, the à la carte dishes are generous and tasty, the dining room and terrace are tastefully decorated (with bouquets of fresh flowers) and the staff are attentive. We come here again and again. We feel at home, except that here we just have to slide our feet under the table and simply enjoy. Thanks to Fred, Stan and the whole team.

25/01/2026: Hello, we have been here several times and our orders are always incomplete. The staff is very unpleasant; things are always missing, and our sandwiches are incomplete. On several occasions, we asked for sauces, paid for them, and were accused of putting them in our pockets to get more. We also made a mistake by ordering vegan nuggets instead of regular ones, and they refused to exchange them, knowing that something is always missing. It's outrageous not to offer an exchange. I advise against this restaurant because it's not the first time, so we won't be coming back. We'll go to the McDonald's at Auchan in Saint-André-de-Cubzac. Mr. Beaulac

20/01/2026: Conveniently located at the end of the motorway, with useful shops nearby, clean, with long opening hours and an excellent welcome: a pleasant stop for a meal.

13/01/2026: A family-friendly McDonald's in a peaceful setting where we often have lunch. The burgers are always excellent. Unfortunately, the prices tend to skyrocket! The McSmart meal deal has gone up this week from €5 to €6.55, a 30% increase... customers aren't fooled, Mr. McDonald's! Also worth noting is a recurring unpleasant odor coming from the self-service kiosks, and the furniture is a bit dated (the booths).

29/12/2025: Arriving early to avoid the crowds, we had to wait a good twenty minutes to be served. The reason? A problem with the soda machine. The waitress explained that we had to exchange our drinks for iced tea or Fanta. Two of my children chose Fanta, while the other two preferred to wait for a possible repair. The Fanta arrived after another ten-minute wait. We had almost finished our meal, and the Fanta we were served was undrinkable. I asked for at least a refund for the drinks we had paid for but hadn't received. Another ten-minute wait before they finally agreed to refund me. In the end, I was only refunded for what I had paid for but couldn't be served. There was no compensation whatsoever for the wait or for having to eat without drinks. I didn't feel like I was treated like a customer. It wasn't up to the usual standards of this restaurant, which I frequent. To be precise, my order was €30.80 and I was refunded €11, which is equivalent to 4 small drinks…

24/05/2025: Very disappointing bland pizza! We're looking for the taste of tomato sauce and cheese, just a very thin crust with a garnish but no taste. I didn't even eat it. I think the ingredients are poor quality and over 30 euros for 2 normal-sized pizzas is excessive!!

08/05/2025: Takeaway order: Good savory pizzas but big disappointment with the sweet pizza which is burnt and tastes like it. Pizzeria closed when we realized it. Too bad not to have asked us if burnt cooking suited us..

15/11/2025: Pizza La Seleyre is a classic takeaway pizzeria with a good variety of thin-crust pizzas. However, since COVID and especially the opening of Pizzeria Le Bocce in the town center, the pizzas have declined. Initially, they were generously topped with fresh (and homemade, if I remember correctly) tomato sauce, but now they're a bit dry and cardboard-like. Another thing that puzzles me, compared to other pizzerias in the area, is the feeling of not being full after eating a whole pizza. It gives me the same feeling as sushi with MSG, which prevents satiety. I also saw a "For Sale" sign that has since been removed, so we'll see... Update: The pizzas reflect the same issues as the response from the long-standing faulty front door and the awkward remarks about using restaurant vouchers in supermarkets...

30/11/2025: A very bad customer experience. This is the second time. We thought we'd give this place a second chance, but in the end… first impressions are often right. Avoid it. There's a more accessible and much more welcoming tea room further down the street. It's cheaper, and just as good, if not better.

09/11/2025: Very disappointing!!! The hot chocolate was too sweet and the service very cold and austere… we felt like we were bothering the waiters… plus they didn't even tell us about the ingredients (for the milk…) which we only discovered at the till when paying the bill…

05/07/2025: We came with friends to spend a moment out of time. The owner takes us into an unusual place. He takes us on a journey through his cuisine and the anecdotes he tells us. He is truly very welcoming and caring. At the end of the evening, he sang and played Turkish music for us. A place I recommend without hesitation if you want to spend a friendly moment. Thank you very much, we will come back.

16/08/2024: Avons tenté malgré les avis négatifs et nous nous sommes régalé. Poulet curry et falafel très bien assaisonnés. En plus on dose la sauce comme on veut. Un peu cher oui mais c'est le Cap Feret et c'était vraiment très bon. Je recommande.

16/08/2024: Très bon accueil, personnel souriant et agréable mais le rapport qualité prix n’est pas là. 16€ un « pokebowl » rempli de riz blanc cuit à l’eau alors qu’il est annoncé « riz vinaigré », 2 minuscules morceaux de mangue, et le reste des ingrédients disparaît sous la quantité disproportionnée de riz (il n’y en a pas « beaucoup » mais beaucoup trop comparé au reste, on a dû l’arroser copieusement de sauce pour le faire « glisser »). Quand on va manger dans un restaurant qui s’annonce Hawaïen, on s’attend à voyager gustativement, ça n’a pas du tout été le cas.

17/01/2026: I had a good time. I ordered the Savoyard fondue with kirsch plus an extra serving of Bündnerfleisch (air-dried beef). Very good, the portion was just right. Quick service on a Saturday lunchtime. The decor could use a refresh. Not many people, which is a shame in the middle of winter. Expensive at €38.

10/01/2026: I'm beyond disappointed. This place was recommended to me. The worst of all Savoyard fondue restaurants. The fondue itself was mediocre—rubber-like—as was the bread, which was roughly cut and bone dry. The raclette was nothing special, and the charcuterie served as an extra was disappointing and greasy. Savoy? You say? We're being ripped off! The service is terrible. We were rushed as soon as we sat down. We hadn't even started looking at the menu before they told us what we'd chosen. I do not recommend this place at all! Keep walking! I wanted to try somewhere else, but what a mistake that was... I'll go back to my old place, which has a very good reputation, where the charcuterie and cheese selection are truly excellent.
