30/04/2026: I've visited this restaurant three times. The first time, two years ago, was exceptional. The second time, a year ago, was just okay, and this third time was terrible. The food was inedible, the duck was tough and raw, and the service was mediocre. The desserts were the same. We won't be back a fourth time.

08/04/2026: Walked in with no reservation on a Friday evening and got seated immediately - massive thumbs up for that. Service was fantastic and the wine recommended by the waitress was sublime. The food was also exceptional with very balanced pricing considering the 2-starred restaurant on the next floor. The comte based amuse bouche was sublime. The duck breast was nicely presented but it was actually quite chewy and the tarte citron tasted more like a palate cleanser rather than a dessert, suitable for 6th out of 7 course menu but not so much for finishing dessert. All minor critiques though, will be going back there again for sure.

03/05/2026: The storm drove us into the street for shelter, and we made a lovely discovery on our way to lunch. A warm welcome. Small menu, fresh ingredients, generous portions. We ate very well. We highly recommend it.

09/03/2026: Restaurant run by a friendly couple. Conveniently located right opposite Tram A in lower Cenon, with a small terrace out front. The quality is consistently excellent. The dishes are superb. The chef/owner is always attentive. His wife, who manages the service, always has a joke ready. The Cadillac wine and the punch are also very good. 22/01/2026: Excellent neighborhood restaurant. The welcome is very pleasant, the cuisine is sophisticated and delicious, all at a moderate price. Perfect. Terre & Mer, on Avenue Thiers, is exactly the kind of place that gives a neighborhood its identity. Unpretentious, not flashy, but honest, expertly prepared cuisine with that little extra something that makes it memorable. This type of restaurant is a bit like the backbone of a city: homemade cuisine that doesn't cut corners, a warm welcome, a loyal local clientele, ... and that "we feel good here" feeling that money can't buy!

29/05/2026: I've been twice since the beginning of the year for lunch at this restaurant. The first time was very good; the dishes were tasty, the portions were just right, and the service was reasonably quick. I went back this month and was disappointed. The steak tartare was good, but the dessert was a letdown. I chose the chocolate mousse, which was served in a jar, and frankly, there was more whipped cream than mousse. It took four spoonfuls to eat it. The quantity was truly insufficient, even ridiculous, as we laughed because we were so surprised. The wait for dessert was also quite long, even though the dining room and terrace weren't full. I'll go back a third time before crossing this place off my list, and I hope to find the same quality I experienced on my first visit.

29/04/2026: The prices on their website are not up-to-date. Upon arrival, the prices on the menu were higher. There was a long wait. One of the waiters/managers was not very pleasant. Several Caesar salads were ordered at our table, but the advertised ingredients were missing: no tomato, no cucumber, no egg, no Parmesan cheese. In short, a green salad for €14.50… outrageous! We pointed this out to the waiter. The only response we received was: it's the apprentice's fault! The apprentice gets blamed for everything! And then, when we asked for individual receipts when paying for our meals (we were a table of nine for a business lunch), we received a rude remark from the same waiter! A place to avoid!

09/05/2026: Avoid this place at all costs, uncooked hamburgers and rude waiters. We had the worst dinner of our trip in France and lost our appetite for a Saturday night.

02/06/2026: Excellent value for money for the lunch menu. The staff are professional and welcoming. The setting, overlooking the racecourse, is truly pleasant. The only slight drawback: the windows could be better maintained to fully enjoy the view.

07/05/2026: A wonderful discovery today. Everything was perfect. An excellent meal from start to finish with impeccable service that deserves special mention. I would also like to thank the waitress who thoughtfully and discreetly placed a candle on my dessert for this special occasion.

05/05/2026: Very disappointing! The service was sparsely staffed, but the waitress was overwhelmed. The manager was extremely unpleasant. Avoid this place if you want to have a pleasant evening.
