25/05/2026: We had a wonderful weekend at the Hotel Saint Clément. We thank Christian and his colleague for their warm welcome, the generous, delicious, and beautifully presented meals. The rooms are very comfortable and very clean. Thank you for all your kind attention.

22/05/2026: Logis de France, the hotel is clean and retains its original charm. The decor is from the 80s 🥳 The restaurant is open for lunch and dinner 7 days a week; it's best to call ahead to be sure and make a reservation. The reception is efficient. This Pentecost weekend 2026, the hotel is booked for 23 motorcyclists with parking and catering. The first terrace at the front is nice, and the second terrace at the back is very large and shaded 👍 Excellent. I highly recommend it!

24/05/2025: Very disappointing bland pizza! We're looking for the taste of tomato sauce and cheese, just a very thin crust with a garnish but no taste. I didn't even eat it. I think the ingredients are poor quality and over 30 euros for 2 normal-sized pizzas is excessive!!

26/03/2026: As a big fan of specialty coffee, I was in Bordeaux last weekend and took the opportunity to check out this place, but it was a disappointing experience. On paper, it all looked promising: a very attractive menu with coffees and teas that seemed to be of high quality. You could tell there was real potential and an interesting selection. Unfortunately, several things spoiled the experience. First, the place itself gave a rather cluttered impression, especially with boxes visible at the back of the shop. For an establishment that offers drinks at relatively high prices (around €9 for 400 ml of tea), you expect a more refined setting. Second, and this is the most important point for me: the coffee served didn't meet the standards of specialty coffee. I ordered a double espresso, which should normally be around 36 ml, and I ended up with a much fuller cup, closer to a lungo. This gives the impression that the basics aren't being followed. Finally, the menu lacks essential information: no details on the aromas or profiles of the coffees offered. Yet, this is precisely what makes specialty coffee and the tasting experience so appealing. In short, this is a place that could be excellent given its selection, but as it stands, it doesn't live up to its promise.

14/03/2026: I absolutely do not recommend this cafe. We waited 1 hour and 10 minutes just for two coffees, without the slightest gesture of goodwill or apology from the servers, who seemed completely indifferent to our wait.

20/02/2026: Takeaway. Very disappointed, despite being regular customers. Various spring rolls and prepared dishes, a bit of everything: caramelized pork, lemon beef, curry, lemongrass chicken (we were still looking for the lemongrass)... everything was very bland and tasteless, the portions were too small. We won't be going back. A real disappointment.

31/05/2026: I've never seen anything like it in my life. Dirty knife, no excuse, it's normal. Endless wait, 25 minutes for a coffee. You have to go get your food. People have to go fill up their water bottles in the restrooms. They even put the bread they serve next to the restrooms. The next table waited an hour before being served, and it wasn't even their order. We had to pass the salt and pepper to the next table. The managers completely failed to anticipate the impact of Mother's Day. It's unacceptable.

31/05/2026: We came for Mother's Day, a group of eight of us, and had taken the trouble to make a reservation. The menu at Bistrot Régent is quite simple, and yet it still took us three hours to be served and eat! The meat was overcooked. We were hoping for a small gesture of goodwill, and instead they charged us for an extra dessert. Okay, it's Mother's Day, but you shouldn't accept 200 covers when you can only manage 100... The lure of profit leads to this kind of excess, which ultimately drives customers away... a bad calculation.

13/06/2026: We had two smoothies for 12€ and they tasted like chemicals. The 'fresh smoothie' came from a carton box and was poured in some sort of smoothie machine. It tasted horrible, exactly like plastic. I wouldn't be surprised if there wasn't a single vitamin in it 😂

29/05/2026: May 29, 2026, 3:58 PM Heatwave, 37 degrees Celsius outside. The waitress: Have you decided? Us: Not yet, we're looking at the menu. Could you bring us a bottle of water and three glasses while we choose? The waitress: Oh no, sorry, I'll be finished in two minutes. I'll take everyone's order at once or nothing at all, but I don't have time. Two minutes later, she left the restaurant without taking our order and without water, of course. Luckily, the next waiter she left behind was more pleasant and smiling; no complaints about him. I just want to highlight the unprofessionalism of this young woman, who was clearly in a hurry to finish her shift.

02/06/2026: I just wanted a freshly squeezed orange juice… I took the precaution of asking the waitress: “Do you serve freshly squeezed orange juice?” She could have said no. It wouldn’t have mattered. I would have ordered another drink. But she answered yes! Very confidently. Barely a minute later, she brought me a large glass of Tropicana with orange pulp, or Pulco, or Oasis, who knows? 🥴 Anyway, judging by the color of the liquid, its smell, its taste, and the speed with which she brought me my supposedly freshly squeezed orange juice, I immediately knew there was a deception going on. So I called her over and calmly pointed it out. At that very moment, her bulldog of a boss appeared, jumped in, answered for her, and lied to me, looking me straight in the eye: “Yes, yes, it’s definitely freshly squeezed orange juice!” “I told her no, it was too sweet and the color was too artificial.” “She persisted, replying, ‘The oranges are too sweet this year 🙄’” “Faced with her aggression and arrogance, I gave up but didn’t drink my beverage.” “The service team then gathered at the top of the stairs, presumably after the owner called them over, to stare at me and laugh.” “I paid for my drink without touching it and left, shocked.” “Vacationers, avoid La Braconne!”

28/05/2026: I highly recommend La Braconne! I enjoyed a waffle and a smoothie, and everything was absolutely perfect. The food was delicious, fresh, and beautifully presented. A big thank you also to Anabelle for her warm welcome and excellent service! Smiling, attentive, and very professional, she truly made the experience even more enjoyable. A great place in Lacanau that I will gladly return to.

28/05/2026: An excellent restaurant, but the service lacked professionalism. On the culinary side, there's nothing to complain about: we ate very, very well. The dishes were expertly prepared, flavorful, and of high quality. A truly excellent choice for the taste buds. However, the experience was more mixed regarding the welcome. Yes, it was very, very hot that day, and we can understand that the conditions were harsh. But that doesn't excuse everything: for the start of the season by the sea, one expects a professional attitude. Unfortunately, the waitresses' gracefulness was frankly lacking, and the service proved very inefficient. A heatwave can happen, but professionalism and a smile should still be the order of the day. It's a shame, because the setting and the food deserve much more attentive and welcoming service!

07/12/2025: I came to eat at this restaurant on Thursday at lunchtime, it was great! The appetizer and dessert buffet was fantastic, as well as four main courses to choose from—a real treat! I highly recommend this restaurant.

The recommendations were excellent, accurate, and precise—everything you could expect from true professionals. As for the quality of the meal, it was flawless.
