17/11/2025: Hello, we were warmly welcomed and ate well, at a good and inexpensive price. The only complaint I have is the hygiene of the toilets and restrooms.

15/04/2026: I had a double coffee for four euros, even on the Champs-Élysées, it's cheaper there too, but the service wasn't great. After tasting it, it was truly disgusting.

07/04/2026: A delightful surprise on a public holiday when many restaurants were closed: excellent pizzas made with fresh ingredients and generous toppings, and a must-try tiramisu with several variations! A very warm welcome and a lovely setting to enjoy while waiting if needed 😀

05/04/2026: One Sunday evening, Easter weekend, you call to order 3 pizzas. They tell you they're fully booked. I hope you'll be fully booked all summer because from now on we'll be going to their competitor. And on top of that, they weren't very friendly.

22/03/2026: I just learned that this place has reopened, which for me was much more than just a bar, betting shop, or restaurant. It was a meeting place, authentic, friendly, and open to everyone all year round in an area where other establishments are unfortunately often closed. The traditional cuisine was truly excellent and inexpensive. Without any airs, the place operated the same way in winter as in summer, which bothered some people who need extra attention to be paid to their hospitality. A big thank you and best of luck to Duduche and his team. We've lost a place that was part of this town's identity.

10/02/2026: A restaurant open all year round, that's great. Good food, fast service.

17/04/2026: Up until now, it had been pretty nice, but today we asked for a carafe of water to go with a Coke and two fruit syrup drinks. The waitress's response: NO. Not another word... We initially thought it was a joke... but nothing came of it. We ended up asking another waiter, who explained that they didn't always give out carafes of water because everyone was asking for them, but that a glass of water was fine, which suited us perfectly. But honestly, this "NO" left us perplexed; we deserved at least an explanation. Besides, refusing water isn't exactly standard practice. At worst, they could charge for it, but refusing to serve water... that's odd.

17/04/2026: One evening, dinner. The waiter was cool and friendly. He was busy, serving both the terrace and the indoor dining area. The main course was decent, nicely presented, and the location was ideal, near Place Gambetta. There was background music. The napkins had the dishes on them; I would have put the desserts on them... 😉 We enjoyed it.

16/09/2025: A very pleasant place with a large terrace. We had a plate of 12 oysters and a platter of fuet and cod pâté, all very delicious and the service was excellent.

14/04/2026: The owner is very welcoming; I've been a regular for a few years and have never been disappointed. The menu changes, they offer helpful advice, and the staff is attentive. You can go there without hesitation! 👌

06/04/2026: Tourist trap! The food is prepared in the snack bar next door, snack bar quality... but you're seated so you pay much more... not at all worthy of a restaurant, and the cook at the snack bar is downright rude. Avoid at all costs, we'll never go back!

01/04/2026: I came for takeout, and was initially greeted by a waiter with a deep but professional voice. After much discussion about what was available for takeout, I finally decided what to order. Meanwhile, a woman, presumably the manager, intervened and wanted to start the whole process over. This resulted in a flurry of activity: she wanted to know, I wanted to explain, and the bartender wanted to emphasize that everything was fine. I placed my order, was told to expect a 20-minute wait, ordered a beer, and tried to find a table while I waited. The manager reminded me that I couldn't sit there as it was reserved for customers. Apparently, I'm not a customer in her eyes. She directed me to a high table near the entrance, a spot usually reserved for the security guard or the waiter, located between the kitchen and the entrance—a perfect spot for someone who wants to feel excluded. I told the waiter I'd prefer to sit somewhere else because I wasn't comfortable in that place, and he agreed. So I sat down at another table next to the bar. No sooner had I sat down than the same manager came running up to tell me it wasn't possible. It has to be said, the restaurant was full; out of roughly 220 seats, there were only 5 customers! I told her that her colleague was fine with me sitting there, and I heard her whisper to him and the other waitress that we shouldn't do that. Apparently, she thinks she knows everything about how hospitality should be managed (that's sarcasm, in case she takes it literally). Some people's life goal is to go to the moon, while others' is to show they're in charge. "A chef is made for a chef," Chirac said. My beer arrived two minutes later, two-thirds beer and one-third foam. I think the waitress is still getting the hang of things. Five minutes later, the order was ready. A ten-minute wait instead of the promised twenty minutes—tough luck, I had to finish my beer as quickly as possible. The waiter, in a hurried tone, like someone who didn't really want to talk, told me the bill: 44 euros. I paid! And I took my order, happy to escape this atmosphere that made me feel unwelcome. Back home, no luck, no cutlery, no napkins, and I was told to eat with my hands. A return to basics, some might say. The price you pay for poor service, I'd say. Luckily, the food was good, which made me realize that at least the chef wasn't judging. A little advice for this suburban restaurant owner (related to the restaurant's location, of course 🤨): Focus on the quality of service rather than judging customers based on appearance. Otherwise, become a bouncer in a nightclub. There are other ways to boost your self-esteem than using others to soothe your neuroses. (To whom it may concern!)

27/02/2026: The staff are really nice, but this McDonald's is constantly busy with all the students, so it takes time, there are order errors, and the portions are often stingy.

23/04/2026: There are more employees than customers, yet the order takes forever to arrive. As a result, the meal is cold. I go to the register to ask for it to be warmed up. The young woman then handles the hamburgers carelessly, almost squashing them. In the end, one is barely lukewarm and the other completely cold. Faced with this situation, I take the lukewarm sandwich myself, while the second one is finally replaced. However, she doesn't accept my complaint and is very unpleasant. McDonald's is going downhill, but this one... avoid it at all costs.

22/04/2026: Besides order errors and increasingly poor quality despite price increases, you need to understand that when people order a drive-thru meal, you should provide napkins! Do we wipe ourselves with the cardboard bag? Conclusion: drive-thru bag = napkin

09/04/2026: No taste whatsoever, neither for the spring rolls nor for the seafood noodles (just a few shrimp).... Disappointed!

06/03/2026: Still as good as ever! As a local resident, I highly recommend Bol de riz; generous portions, fast service, and charming staff.
