02/09/2024: Au hasard de notre balade, nous nous sommes arretés dans ce restaurant de marché..... beaucoup de monde dans cet endroit.. personnel agreable et réactif ..... le bar était très bon, mais je ne m'attendais pas qu il soit aussis copieux ...la côté de cochon était bien Servie également .. seul bémol le prix du petit verre de rose 5,50 € c est cher ...

04/09/2024: Finding this restaurant by chance in the twists and turns of the internet. Warm, slightly subdued setting. A warm, smiling and professional welcome. More or less we would be in a gastronomic establishment which I would rename today as semi-gastronomic due to the presentation of the dishes, the tempting smell of the aromas when the plate arrives. Use of transport plates for cutlery, unprecedented speed for bringing dishes. Entree, main course, dessert, coffee in less than 45 minutes, never before seen and at an affordable price… I can only recommend

11/08/2024: Great setting, good and very generous dishes, we had a very pleasant time at Serpolet. We will come back!

27/11/2025: We always enjoy coming back to this campsite after a break. The sights are easily accessible by car. The campsite is clean and has everything you need. Always a pleasure.

13/11/2025: We had a wonderful week's holiday at this campsite. The mobile home, located facing the pool, offered a magnificent view from the moment we woke up. The daytime and evening activities were discreet but sufficient to keep us entertained without being too hectic. As for facilities, there are plenty of swimming pools, with slides enjoyed by both children and adults, and generally enough sun loungers available for relaxing. The children also enjoyed the playground located near the restaurant. A couple of minor drawbacks, however: upon arrival, the mobile home wasn't very clean, which was a shame. And while the restaurant wasn't bad, the dishes lacked a bit of flavor. Despite these minor issues, we had an excellent stay... and we would have loved to stay longer!

04/09/2024: We decided to get off our Viking cruise and venture into town. Like getting away, definitely from the boat, but even more from tourist traps. Those are here in Blaye. I can’t blame them. They get more business that way but we actually like going where there is no English translation and where we need to try a bit more. If you are like us this is the place for you. We got no accommodations. We asked about English when we entered. There was the abrupt French NO. But we understood that and stayed put. The guy came back. We asked for two, in French, and were shown to a table where we waited and waited and waited. We were about to quietly leave since every single table that came after us, at least three, were served their drinks and food before we were even served water. We were patient. I encourage you to be. We tried our best to perfect our French and when he finally returned we ordered in French. He got a little friendlier. The food was amazing. The chef is to be commended. We would return. The last bit was being charged for three Perrier even though he only brought us two. He never brought the third. We tried, in French, to explain. He laughed and did nothing but bring us the check with a charge for three which we never received. In fact he laughed each time we attempted to ask. We finally simply paid it. You should too. They are mostly playing with you and attempting to make you a fool but I can say the food is worth it and as Americans perhaps we deserve it. You will get a great meal. Be brave. If you aren’t. You can literally simply walk up the lane about 100 feet. Many places just 100 yards away are willing to play the game but I don’t think you will eat as well. And truthfully. We need to try to walk that extra 100 feet. It will cause stress and anxiety which they believe we deserve and we probably do. If I ever return to Blaze I will return here

02/09/2024: I was greeted by a very helpful young man, he gave me advice and helped me make my sandwich. Unfailingly friendly, smiling, welcoming, communicative, in short, everything we expect from someone in the business world. The sandwich, a treat I ate to my eye and for a more than reasonable price! I would come back with great pleasure Very good experience To the young man who served me I wish him to continue like this, the service was more than perfect, thank you again! :)

27/08/2024: Good and well prepared food. Clean and nice restaurant. Near the hotel where we stayed. It was our salvation, there are more buffet restaurants around but they are not as nice.

26/08/2024: I was extremely disappointed with this restaurant. Although our server was very pleasant and very polite. We ordered a rare hamburger steak for our grandson. This one arrived perfectly cooked, the waitress ordered another, but unfortunately the second one was not much better. Then, I had to go around to ask for bread, ask for cheese for my risotto.... However, the restaurant was not full at all, and we had the impression that they were under the tide. When I went to pay, the boss asked me if things had gone well, I told him about our misadventures, and that's it, no action on his part. It is certain that I will not come back again.

22/07/2024: L'endroit est jolie. Les plats sont de très bonne qualités ( frites maison , nuggets maison) . En revanche les quantités sont légers et le prix trop.cher selon nous. Beaucoup attentes pour les desserts qui n'ont pas été servit tous au même moments.. Accueil est moyenne.

06/09/2024: Simply divine!!! Very close to the hotel. A delicious gastronomic experience!! I chose the suggested menu with salad and jamon and a main course with octopus and potatoes. Delicious dessert. It is worth remembering that it is not open on Saturdays and Sundays.
